You Say It's Your Birthday

Happy Birthday to me!! 45 years young today. Feel better than I did at 35. Hope to say that in 10 more years too.  Thanks for the BD wishes.

For me the best birthday present would be to see you living your destiny.  I talked a couple of years ago about if everyone in the world started walking in their destiny.  Wow! What would that look like? If you, me, your family, your neighbor, everybody in the world got up this morning and began moving, living, walking, talking, operating and fulfilling their destiny, their purpose in life.  There would be some awesome changes taking place in a short time period. Know that destiny is not just for a few select folk.  You, yes you, have a very distinct and specific destiny and purpose in life.  Are you living out your destiny? It is my desire, dream, and purpose to see you in your destiny.  My destiny, you see, is to see you in your destiny.  Don’t lose hope in your dreams and destiny. You have got to hold on to your dreams.  Allow them to take you places you need to go.  Allow them to enable you to do things you didn’t think you could do.  No fear! Absolutely no fear! What a great birthday gift indeed to see you on the way to your destiny!!

A Giving Spirit

I suppose it being Christmas I should write something about the Christmas Spirit and all that comes with it.  So this will be one that deals with Christmas Spirit; the spirit of giving to others.

This cannot be the only time of year that we, folk of destiny, have a giving spirit.  If you are destiny minded then you are in a giving spirit all the time, every day.  You are the gift that you give.  You have a gift inside of you and when you give yourself then you are giving that gift.  That is one reason that I am making a gift of my book Embrace Your Destiny.  I think it is important enough to get that gift to folk that I don’t want income from it.  You have a gift in you; what is your gift? What should you be giving every day? It may start with a smile, a pat on the back, or some other form of encouragement.  When we give the gift that God has given us, don’t look for immediate return or reward. Think of it as planting a seed.  Wait for it to grow and mature.  Give the gift that never stops giving; the gift inside of you.  You are very gifted and awesome. I appreciate you very, very much.

A Blessing

I can’t think of anything I would like to see more than for you to be blessed in all areas of your life.  That is what I desire for you above all things.

I have discovered that in my life when you are blessed then I too am blessed.  This is true especially in my family. I want to see the members of my family excel in their life.  I want to see them prosperous.  I want that for you too.  I want to see you blessed beyond your wildest dreams.  I desire to see you walking in the fullness of life, of your destiny. I love to see you over come the obstacles of life.  It makes me happy to see you growing and maturing.  I am excited about the things God has in store for you.  When you reconcile and restore relationships; it thrills me to no end.  When you walk in humility and encourage those around you; I could not be prouder of you.  I am in awe of the great things you are going to accomplish in your life.  I am humbled by the greatness that is inside you.  You are about to enter the greatest era of your life and I can’t wait to see you succeed in your destiny.  You are an awesome person, full of life, full of destiny, full of hope.  Your best days are just ahead, don’t give up or lose focus.  Keep walking, living your destiny and remain expectant.  Look for it, because it is coming soon.

Sowing Into Your Life

Today it has been seven years that my dad past away.  I don’t say this looking for sympathy or anything like that, just in saying in all things we can find something positive.  In his passing I have learned so much.

I do miss my dad.  Although, our relationship wasn’t the greatest; it was awesome the last six months of his life.  In June of 2003, Melissa and I had Gloria, his only grandchild. I saw the way he interacted with her the times he was with her.  Most of the time he was in the hospital.  My dad proved to me that folk can change.  He made significant changes in his life in the end.  He gave me an example of what love really is all about.  Love is all about serving and giving.  Love is a verb not a noun.  Love is an action.  Granted feelings do occur, but feelings do change, come and go, and are not  always reliable.  However, true, genuine, unconditional love is solid, stable and always growing.  That kind of love is about giving to others of yourself, your gift, your life.

So with all this in mind I want to sow into your life a gift.  My first book; Embrace Your Destiny.  As a gift, if you would like to give you a copy. Getting Right

I have said several times how excited I am about the new year.  There are things lining up and getting into place that are going to change your and my lives forever. I am pumped about it.

We all have been through situations in this past year that have prepared us for what is coming next in our destiny.  You may have cussed those times, but they have formed and molded you into the champion that you are right now.  Never despise the tough, hard and difficult times because out of them champions are developed.  The things you been through in the past year, most folk would have lost their mind, but you have prevailed and accepted the challenges.  You are a person of destiny.  You have courage, honor, humility and persistence in you.  You are going to be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, the right way, with the right folk in 2011.  Stay focused, stay on course, stay in a destiny mindset.  It is coming and coming soon! Get ready for it.  2011 is going to be far above and beyond anything you have ever dreamed of or imagined.

Health Care Plan

I hear so often; “I just can’t forgive them for what they did,” or “It is so hard to forgive them.”  There are so many folk, including myself that at one time or another has said this same thing.

The reality of the thing is this; forgiveness really isn’t for the other person’s benefit, but for our benefit.  They gain nothing from our forgiveness, except maybe a little peace of mind, but the benefits for the forgiver are out of this world.  Blue Cross Blue Shield don’t have a health care plan as good as the plan of forgiveness.  Holding back our forgiveness causes us stress, anger, resentment, hatred, and various other bad emotions.  These negative emotions lead to heart problems, mental problems, many emotional problems to many to mention.  When we forgive we release the stressors that have attached themselves to us.  Forgiving gets easier when we practice it continually, until it becomes a lifestyle, it becomes natural.  Enjoy the benefits of forgiveness today! Your heart and mind never had it so good!

All or Nothing

I saw a person on the news the other day say that, “Complete forgiveness would be inappropriate in his case.”  How sad that we would think this; even in the worst situation.  I am not taking away from what happened to this man and his family but to say complete forgiveness would be inappropriate is an awful place to be.

There is no such thing as partial forgiveness.  At least I don’t think there is such a thing.  We either forgive someone or we don’t.  Forgiveness has to be complete and quick.  Never bringing that offense back up again. I hear all the time how hard it is for folk to forgive others.  Why is it so hard? The first thing I can think of is pride.  We were hurt by someone, but the hurt is there only if we allow it.  They may hurt us physically, but internally only if we allow it.  Be quick to forgive. Remember, when we are the one needing forgiveness we want it quickly too.  They may not deserve it in our opinion, but our opinion doesn’t over rule the fact that we too don’t deserve it, but we still need it. Forgiveness cleanses us. Forgiveness will give you peace and freedom that nothing else can.  That’s why it can be hard to do, the reward of forgiveness is awesome.  Forgive today; quickly and completely.  Hold no offense in your heart.

Don't Forget About

Jesus is concerned about you.  He care about you.  Even when you think no one cares, no one is thinking about you, you feel left out and forgotten, He has you on His mind. You are adored and valued.

This time a year it is easy to feel over looked and left out.  Folk get so busy that we can go right those that need encouragement and not even notice them.  It is easy to do even for the most caring folk.  If you feel over looked or left out; know that you are not forgotten.  You are wanted, you are loved.  There may be times when we get lost in the shuffle, but you are not out of His eye or His mind.  At the same time, I challenge those of you reading this to reach out to those who don’t have someone in their live.  Be a friend to the person who seems to no have any friends.  Gift the gift of friendship, the gift of love.  Be a giver of hope to someone who has lost hope. Instead of walking past folk, let’s take the few seconds of time it takes to speak and give a smile to folk.  Be the one who makes a difference in someone’s life today.

Season Reason

During this, the Christmas season, many people get depressed and discontent. It’s hard to imagine; if you have never felt this way, how could anyone be down during the most wonderful time of the year.

There are many reasons why folk can be depressed and don’t enjoy the holidays.  If you are in this group I want to encourage you today.  If you are not in this group; then I want to encourage you to offer hope and encouragement to those that are down.  Either way I want to encourage you today.  It is a wonderful time of year.  Even if your circumstances and your situation may tell you it’s not a wonderful time; look past that to the reason we celebrate Christmas.  Jesus’ birth is the reason, but even more is the hope that He brought to the world.  There is hope, there is joy, there is forgiveness, there is destiny because of His birth.  Focus on the good things in your life.  Know that your best days are yet to come.  If you are in the middle of a bad stretch; know that it will pass.  Know that you are loved and appreciated.  Let’s make the greatest Christmas ever, not just for ourselves but for everyone.  Make a difference this Christmas in someone’s life.

Gift Giving

The gift that keeps on giving.  That is something we usually say around this time of year; both for gifts we like and those we don’t so much like.  We have all been given a gift that keeps on giving.

There was a gift placed deep inside us before we were born.  That gift is for us to give to others.  What is your gift? You may not know yet, that’s fine.  Let’s discover our gift and use that gift to make this the greatest Christmas and greatest new year we have ever experienced.  None of us have the gift that you have.  That gift will lead you to your destiny.  You are gifted whether you realize it or not.  You have the ability to do something like on one else can do.  Never allow anyone to tell you that you are useless, worthless or no good.  Nothing could be farther from the truth. You are incredible, awesome, wonderful, valuable, and precious.  There is no one else just like you.  Develop your gift and let it flow through you.  I am excited about our destiny and future.  I can’t wait to see you reach your highest.  This is your time! This is your day!
