Time

It’s not too late for you and your purpose.

Sometimes, it’s easy to look at your circumstances in the natural and think, “I’ve missed my opportunity. I’m too old. It’s too late. I’ve messed up too much.” But with God, there’s always another opportunity. He created you on purpose and for a purpose. He’s the one who placed those dreams and desires on the inside of you. He hasn’t given up on those dreams, and you shouldn’t either! It’s never too late for God, which means it’s never too late for you! I don’t know about you, but I have never heard of a single story where God gave someone a dream and fulfilled it on the same day. No, our lives are designed with seasons and processes to build our faith and prepare us for the next step. It takes faith, it takes obedience, and it takes patience to see God’s promises come to pass. Today, no matter where you are in your journey of faith, just focus on moving forward. God hasn’t given up on you! Trust that He has you in the right place at the right time. Trust that He is working all things together for your good. Trust that new doors are opening. Choose faith and patience, and you will inherit His promises because it’s never too late for you to embrace the good things God has in store for you. Are you willing to wait out your dreams?

Difficult Days

Most things that are worthwhile are difficult, and your willingness to work through those difficulties will set you apart from the rest.

You have heard the saying; “Nothing worth having comes easy.” In most all cases this is true. When you are striving for something worthwhile it is going to be tough. However, that is what makes you different. You are a person of purpose and destiny. Everyone has a destiny but sadly so few ever stay after it. Everybody starts but it seems that most give up when it gets tough. Don’t ever give up, especially when it gets tough. The tough times don’t make or break you, but they will reveal your true character. The difficult times are what will separate you from the rest of the pack. Never settle for average in what you do. Keep learning, growing, changing and making a difference in other people’s lives. You have an awesome destiny and purpose to live for today. Are you in a difficult season of life?

Emotional Pain

Convicted

Conviction is your strong belief in what you are doing. It is the reason you are committed, the purpose behind your sacrifice.

Have you noticed when you have a dream in our heart, you start off strong. You head down the trail toward your goal, and you’re so excited! But along the way, you hit some roadblocks and encounter some adversity. Many times, people will just give up and take the easy way out. But you have to remember, it’s not how you start that counts; it’s how you finish. Anybody can be fired up at the beginning, but I’m encouraging you to stick with it until the end! Have the determination to go all the way through. Don’t stop at the halfway mark just because times are tough. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything happening. Today, if there’s a dream in your heart, something you’re believing for — a relationship to turn around, a business opportunity or to overcome an addiction — keep pursuing it! Run your race to win the prize! Don’t settle until you see the fullness of what God has placed in your heart. As you stand strong in your faith, I believe God will pour out His favor and blessing upon you, and you will see the victory He has in store for you! Are you standing strong in your conviction today?

Committed

Commitment means following through on a process, despite the difficulties, and decisions that may deter you.

When you are making a difference, working toward a goal, and living a purposeful live there are going to be obstacles. A person of destiny will keep moving even when the storms blow against them. It takes commitment to be who you were created to be in life. No one ever said that it would be easy. Easy is for those that aren’t doing anything in life. That is not the life you want. God has given you a gift/talent and He expects to you to use it. That does not mean there won’t be bad, tough days ahead. What it does mean is that you will keep on making the right decisions; even when you make a mistake. When you are in a difficult time remember you are there for a reason. Someone is watching you and needs to see how you respond. When they see you are committed no what is going on; it will encourage them too. Are you committed to your process today?

Dedicated and Loyal

Commitment is your dedication to your purpose. It is unwavering display of loyalty to the process.

To be a person of destiny you must be committed to your purpose. In living out your purpose you will have a process to work. You must stay with your process no matter what the cost. Your purpose and process and tied together. Neither is more important than the other, but both are vital to your destiny. God has given you a purpose and has a plan for your life. The plan is your purpose and process. He knew before you were born what you were going to do in life. Your life is a masterpiece waiting to be completed. Each day you live is another day closer to finishing your masterpiece. Don’t give up on your purpose and don’t ever stop working your process. Even when it looks and feels like nothing is happening in your life; keeping going. Don’t ever give up; finish the masterpiece that is your life. You do have what it takes and you are good enough to make a difference. Make today a hallmark day in your life by making a difference in someone else’s life. Stay dedicated to your purpose and loyal to your process. Are you dedicated and loyal today?

Champion

You don’t have to have fame and fortune to be a champion.

Today the measure of a champion seems to be front page of the paper, ESPN, or Fortune magazine. Not to say the people those people are champions, that is not the only way to recognize a champion. When you are living your destiny, fulfilling your purpose in life; then you are a champion. Your destiny may not have you on Forbes 400 but that does not mean you’re not successful or a champion. Don’t let the sports page determine whether you a champion. You know it and that’s all that really matters. Continue to make a difference and walk your destiny trail. Don’t let anyone make you feel any less than a champion because you’re not famous according to their standards. You are famous in God’s eye and that’s the true mark of a champion. Keep your head up and your shoulders back as you live you life with purpose. Today is your day to be a champion. Are you living your life as a champion today?

LIfe Change

Our commitment, character, conviction, and attitude allow us to do what we need to do to achieve at the highest level.

Having the opportunity to work with some of the athletes at the University of Alabama I have seen that it takes commitment, character, conviction and attitude to succeed at the highest level. No matter how good you are at what you do without these characteristics in your life, you won’t be able to maintain a high level of success. To be what the best you that you can be then you have to put aside the average mindset, the defeated mindset and the barely enough mindset. It’s time today to start a higher level of thinking. Using the attributes we have mentioned you can begin performing at a new level of excellence. Gone are the days of making excuses, blaming and finding fault. Welcome to the days of taking responsibility and taking charge of your life. No more average, no more victim, no more complaining. To live a full, exciting, and successful life you need to commit to excellence. Be the person that God created you to be and never settle for less. Today is a life changing day for you. Are you ready to achieve at the highest level?

Adversity

Be relentless in the pursuit of your goal, and resilient in the face of adversity.

God has a plan to take every adversity and every hardship you go through and use it. He’s not going to beat you down and make your life miserable. No, God’s dream is to take that difficulty and supernaturally turn it around and use it to bring you good. He will use those tough times to bring you out stronger, more mature and prepared for promotion! Goodness, mercy and unfailing love are God’s plan for you! You may not understand everything that’s going on in your life right now, but I encourage you to keep your head held high. Know that God is working in your life. Keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing, knowing that in the end God is going to turn things around in your favor. If God is for you, who can be against you? No one. Greater is the One who is in you than anyone who can be against you. No matter what’s going on around you today, you can put your shoulders back and put a smile on your face because God is working things together for your good because He loves you! Are you facing adversity knowing God is for you?
