It Could Be Today

So many people are a point where they believe their live will never get any better. They don’t think they will ever see the breakthrough and change they had hoped for will come.

When we lose hope in that our live will change; then we have settled it. The problem is if the breakthrough did come, we would not recognize it, because we have given up.  Don’t stop believing in, don’t stop hoping for and striving for change, breakthrough and restoration in your life.  Begin each day knowing that today is going to be the day.  You may have an addiction in your life that you have been trying to overcome for years. Today is the day.  There may be a broken relationship that you have so wanted to see reconciled. Today is the day. You may have many desires for change in your life, don’t lose hope. Never stop believing that your life can and will get better.  No matter what it looks like or what is going on around you, God is working on your behalf and He is in complete control.

2012 Challenge

Many are still recovering from Christmas and New Year’s. It is time for many to start getting back into their regular day-to-day patterns.  I challenge you today to make this year your greatest ever.

We get somewhat of a fresh start; if only on the calendar, every 365 days.  Make the best of this year like never before.   There will be challenges that will try to stop you from reaching your goals in ’12.  But when the storms of life and the winds are blowing against you remember this; eagles don’t soar with the wind, but they turn into the wind, into the storm to enable them to fly over it.  Use the storms, the winds of life to push you upward toward your God-given destiny.  There is nothing that can stop you; unless you allow it.  You have greatness inside of you today.  Don’t let this year pass by without making a difference.

Whole Year Changes

We are being slammed with New Year resolutions.  The problem with resolutions is that we usually don’t keep them for more than a couple of weeks.  This year why not make Whole Year changes.

We make resolutions, wishes, to lose weight, save money, work on relationships and so on.  The thing is we don’t follow up on them.  The gym I workout at is packed for about six weeks; then it’s back to the usuals each day.  The same is true in many different areas where we try to make resolutions. This year let’s make changes.  I have made up my mind to change in a couple of areas.  Don’t try to do a major overhaul of your life all at one time.  This will overwhelm you quick.  Take a couple of major areas and break them down to make the changes.  In doing this, you will see success and be encouraged to keep the change going from now on.  I am excited about the changes you are undertaking.  It may help to find someone to hold you accountable in your change area.  Make sure this person will support you and tell you the truth.  Accountability is crucial in all areas of our life.  You can do it; I know you can! Be blessed and God’s favor all over you and your life.

Leave it Behind

As we enter into the last few days of 2011. There are some things that you need to leave in the old year and new things to take into the new year.

There are some bad habits, some addictions, some issues that have been holding you back.  There are things in your life right now that you know are tearing you apart and destroying your life.  Leave them behind in 2011.  Get someone to help you and to be accountable to in your life.  Leave the baggage behind.  Then we have to pick up good new habits that will take the place of old bad ones.  A common mistake that we make is getting the bad out, but not replacing it with good.  We have to make sure that we don’t leave the space vacant, we have to have healthy good habits in our lives.  Know that 2011 may have been a good year for you, but 2012 is going to be the best yet! Your best days are just around the bend.

Gulity

I have been accused in my writing/speaking that I offer to much hope, mercy, forgiveness, love, restoration and destiny. Awesome! I am guilty as charged.

I have noticed that over the past few years that “religious” people don’t care for my writing or what I speak about.  Understand that by “religious” I am not being critical of any person’s beliefs.  Religious to me is someone that has become mean because of their beliefs.  When we take what God has given us and inject what we want into it, then we have become religious. Anyways, enough of that. I haven’t always given hope, love, forgiveness or mercy to anyone; not even myself.  I realize how wrong I was all those years.  There is no greater gift we can give than hope, love, forgiveness, mercy and so on.  When we start giving peace of mind and not a piece of our mind; we force our flesh into being humble.  I love the changes that have taken place and know that there are still a lot of changes to come.  I have so many more “religious” people to offend yet. Know that God does love you no matter what.  Change your ways to meet His ways and you will see even more of this love coming your way.

Taking Charge

Have you allowed the pressures of life to push you down? Have you been more focused on your circumstances than on your God? If you’re not enjoying your life or relationships, it’s time to refocus and tap into the full joy within.

It’s time to draw the line in the sand and say, “That’s it. I’m not going to live another day negative, discouraged, sour or grumpy. I’m going to put a smile on my face. I’m going to let my joy be seen so I can brighten somebody else’s day. I’m going to live my life happy and full of joy!” When you take that step of faith and choose to trust God with your future, something changes on the inside. Your feelings will soon line up. Your faith will tap into His supernatural joy. And when you tap into joy, you tap into His strength and victory so you can live the full, abundant life He has prepared for you!
