I See You

Too often we judge people before we know their situation. We put a critical or judgmental title on them without knowing why they are the way they are. We need to see things from their perspective instead of stereotyping them.

We don’t know what is going on in their life. We just see the addiction, the behavior, the fault.  We weren’t put in people’s life to judge them but to encourage them. We are to be dealers of hope, not dealers of misery to them.  We should see through eyes of compassion not criticizing.  We should see them through the eyes of love not judgement.  When we see their why it will change us.  We all have a story; you have a story, I have a story.  We judge people through our past. This is not fair to them.  We may be strong in an area where they are weak.  We are quick to talk down to them, judging them.  Remember that it’s only by the grace of God that you aren’t dealing with that addiction, that mindset, that insecurity, that abuse.  We have the choice of seeing people through understanding, forgiving, compassionate eyes.  We can all find fault and criticize, but love will overcome all their mistakes.  We don’t have to magnify their issues and problems, but we should help them to walk through their dark times, their wilderness and come out better.  Change your perspective today and see folk the way you want to be seen. Through the eyes of love.

It’s All Good

When we start seeing our limitations, disabilities, and challenges as our calling we will change our perspective.  Looking at things from a positive stand point rather than from a negative one.

We all have our stuff that we have to deal with in life.  When we take on those issues and see them as our destiny we will begin to see our purpose.  There are unfair circumstances that we have to deal with in our lives.  When we take them head on and stop complaining about them we will move closer to our destiny.  When we see these issues as being stepping stones and not our end then we will begin to help others.  We have not been given anything that we can’t handle.  God will never put something in our life that stops us.  He is showing us areas we need to grow and mature.  When we overcome our circumstances we are being an example for others that are facing their mountains too.  Don’t give up, quit or even complain.  Changing our perspective from negative to a positive we will see our life change.  Be a good, positive example today.  Be an overcomer today!

Daily Gift

Sometimes our days can be so full and busy that we forget how fragile life really is. It’s easy to allow little things to creep in and steal our peace and joy. Maybe something doesn’t go our way or someone says something upsetting. Even traffic can cause us to lose focus if we let it. We have to remember that each day is a gift. If we choose to focus on what’s wrong, we’ll miss the beauty that each day has to offer.

I encourage you today; don’t let the precious moments of life pass you by. Don’t wait for holidays and birthdays to show people that you care. Remember, each day is unique and irreplaceable. You have been given time that can be invested or wasted; hours that can be used or misused. That’s why the psalmist prayed to God, “Teach us to number our days.” He was saying, “Teach us to value every moment we’ve been given.” As you daily keep a proper perspective, you’ll gain a heart of wisdom. You’ll draw closer to God and experience the full blessing that He has for you each and every day!

Perspective

It’s easy to get focused on what’s wrong in life, what we don’t have, and how big our obstacles are. If we’re not careful, we’ll lose sight of all the good things God has done. We’ll take for granted our family, friends, health and the opportunities God has blessed us with. We’ll get so busy and stressed out that we won’t appreciate the gift of today. What’s happened? Our perspective has gotten off.

Perspective is all about how we see a situation. There’s power in your perspective because you will draw into your life what you constantly meditate on. Business may be slow. The economy may be down. The wrong perspective is, “I’ll never make it. It’s just too much.” The right perspective is, “God is supplying all of my needs. He said He would prosper me even in a desert.”

I encourage you to evaluate your perspective. Choose to lift your eyes to God the Father no matter what is happening in your circumstances. Remember, as you set your perspective in the right direction, your life will follow. When you keep an attitude of faith and expectancy, you open the door for His blessing in every area of your life!

Great Day

Today can be that day you have been hoping for, for so long. It is really up to you if it is or not.

Our perspective is so important to whether or not today is the greatest day of our life.  The way we tend to look and evaluate life is critical to our being happy in our life.  When we look at others with eyes of love, forgiveness, serving, hope, and mercy then our perspective will change for our good.  We judge our life by our intentions but we judge others by their actions.  Give others the benefit of the doubt rather than criticizing them.  When we show mercy and give grace to others we will see our own lives improving.  So you can see that we determine by the way we treat others and our perspective toward others if this is going to be the greatest day ever.  Tomorrow looks even better too.

Describe Yourself

If you had to describe yourself to someone today; what words would you use to tell about who you really are?

Would your words be positive or negative, building up or tearing down, uplifting or pulling down, encouraging or discouraging?  What picture would you paint with the words you use to describe who you are? You have been created in the image of God. You might feel like it right this minute, but that does take away from the truth.  You have a gift inside of you. You have purpose all in you.  You may have done things that are not pretty, but that does not make you ugly.  You are beautiful in God’s eyes. You are the apple of His eye.  He created you full of destiny and purpose.  You have value, you are not useless. You have a place here right now.  Check those words again that you would use to describe who you are.  Make sure they line up with the truth about you.
