Elvis in All of Us
You are talented and gifted. Don’t doubt yourself and what you are capable of doing with your life.
I was watching Elvis; That’s the Way It Is, the other night with my daughter. She is an Elvis fanatic, along with her daddy. While we were watching it, I got to thinking. What would I be like if I was talented and gifted in writing/speaking/coaching as Elvis was in singing? Then it shifted to; how do I know I am not as talented and gifted? All of our gifts/talents come from God. So who is to say that we are all as talented as some of the great people that have lived. We have to learn to operate in our gift/talent area. We have to grow, mature and learn how to be the person that God intends on us being. You have greatness inside of you, just as I do. We have to set aside our fear and doubts to set out in that area. What steps do you need to take to bring out your inner greatness? What will you do today to begin the process of living out your purpose in life? There is awesomeness residing within you and me.

A New Level
God will never ask you to do something without putting His ability to do it on the inside of you.
You may be at a place where you can easily become discouraged and give up on what God has placed in your heart. But the good news is that, God has spoken a promise over you that will not die. You can try to ignore it, and your mind will try to convince you that it’s never going to happen. But deep down, you’ll feel a burning, a restlessness, a fire. That’s the promise that God has put in you. What God has spoken over your life will happen. Some people look to others to fulfill their destiny but you have to realize you are the right person. You don’t need anyone else to give birth to what God has placed in your heart. You are equipped. You are gifted. You are talented. You have what it takes. The gift, the promise, is in you. Now is the time for you to stir up what’s on the inside. It’s time for you to rise to a new level and do something great for God.

Searching For
People all around you today are searching for that something to make their life complete. Many never seem to find it. They spend their whole life frustrated and miserable searching in vain.
What is it that you are looking for today? We all have a reason and purpose for being here. God created us full of destiny. Until you get in that zone of what you were put here to do; you will spend your life searching. What is your purpose today? Why are you here today? Stop trying to do and become. Become the person that God created you to be. Begin today to develop yourself, your talent, your gift. Start to develop yourself spiritually. You will find that peace and contentment you are looking for when you start living out your destiny and purpose. How far you go in life will be determined by the close friends you have and the books you read. How are you doing so far? It’s never too late to start your adventure. Today is your day!

Packed Up
Just like we pack our bags for a trip, making sure to leave nothing out, God has packed our bags for our destiny. He has left nothing out.
God has anointed you and equipped you with everything you need to fulfill your destiny. You have the right gifts, the right talents, the right personality. Everything about you is right. He has anointed you to fulfill your destiny. That means because of his strength and power in your life, you can do all things though Him and be successful in life. Sometimes there are gifts and talents inside of us that are not easily recognized. Maybe they don’t come as natural and easy as our other gifts. But, they are still on the inside in seed form placed by God. They may be in the form of a desire, a dream, or a hope for the future. Those seeds are developed by believing God has equipped us and anointed us. They are developed by stepping out and stretching. They are also developed through perseverance. When situations become tough, life tries to push you down, and people try to talk you out of your dreams, you have to push through in God’s strength knowing that you have what it takes. When you understand your value and worth and realize you were created by God, that you are lacking nothing, that’s when you will get a new perspective for your journey and God-given assignment. That’s when you’ll being to step out in faith and see God do amazing things in your life.

Hanging Curtains

Melissa has gotten some new curtains for our house. She has got it all planned out how I am going to hang these curtains. I had this big revelation about the curtain rods and the curtains.
I hope that I can write this the way that I have seen it. Sometimes trying to get my thoughts on to paper; especially mental pictures, can be difficult. So anyways, here we go. The curtains are like the talents that we all possess. We all have been gifted in some area. Our destiny and purpose will be hinged on the gift that we have been given by God. Sometimes we stumble around with the curtains getting all tangled up in them. Like trying to figure out what our gift is in our life. We try to hang the curtains without the rod. It is only when we get the curtain rod secured and in place that we can then hang the curtains on it. The stabilizer or the rod in our life is love. Once we get established and secure in unconditional love we can then see our gift manifested in our life. Everything in our life will come back around to this unconditional love. Without love in our life we will not be established in who we are, our identity, our purpose, and/or our destiny. If you feel like you are tangled up in the curtains; look and see where the rod is located. Your love walk will determine your destiny walk.

Divine Appointments

There is something to said about the divine appointments in our lives. I am always on the lookout and expecting divine appointments everyday of my life. There are days though that are full of these occasions.
I have written about destiny agents, people positioned in your life for a season and a reason. There are also, divine destiny appointments. I had several of these type occasions while traveling this past week. I had one plan in mind, but God had another, even greater plan for me. I met folk that I know it was God that I met them. When we put aside our plan and agenda, allowing God to work His plan in our life, we will see remarkable things. There is no pressure to make that contact that can help you the most. There is just freedom to be who you are and do what you were created to do. I have been told that when that one person reads your book, blog or text you will be moved to the front of the line or front of the class. However, it is not my responsibility to try to make it happen. I am just to write and do what I am supposed to do. That is true for us all. When we relax and do what God has given us to do; then He will do the rest. I figure God has more contacts than I do anyways. Why not let Him do the marketing and be the agent of my life. I know I have to do my part, but that’s easy. We all have a role in life. Do what you were created to do and you will be noticed by the right people, at the right time, for the right reason. God is faithful and will do His part. His way is perfect so why not let Him direct our steps.
