Control

Did you know that when you allow someone else’s words or actions to upset you, you’re allowing them to control you?
When you say, “You make me so mad,” you’re really just admitting that their actions have power over you. As long as that person knows they can push your buttons, as long as you keep responding the same way, you are giving them exactly what they want. Sure, people have a right to say and do things that are upsetting, but we also have a right to not get offended. We have a right to overlook their actions. It’s an honor for a man to keep “aloof” from strife. In other words, we have to remove ourselves, either physically or emotionally, from strife and offense. It’s not easy, but we can choose to let it roll off of us like water off a duck’s back! Remember, you don’t need everyone to agree with you all the time. You don’t have to have the approval of others in order to be the best. Your job is to be the person God made you to be. Overlook offenses and let go of strife so you can live in peace and victory all the days of your life. Are you being controlled today?

Your Control

To be a Champion you have to know what you can control and know what you can’t.

First you can’t control other people or the weather, but we do seem to try. You control yourself, your attitude, your response to adversity. Stop trying to control other people. A person that is a Champion is not a manipulator. We don’t try to control the outcome as a Champion. You work the process and do your best all the time and the results will take care of themselves. When you stop trying to control outside factors then you free up your mind to focus on being relentless. One of the main reasons that people are not unstoppable is that they are trying to focus on too much. When they attempt to focus on stuff they can’t control it takes away from their mental edge. Remind yourself when things are going bad that ‘somethings I can control, somethings I cannot.’ You will be so much freer mentally when you learn this principle. Take control of your attitude and response to adversity and see your life go to the next level. Are you controlling what you can control today?

Get In or Out

Do you ever feel like things in your life are out of control?

Usually that happens when we allow our circumstances to dictate our thoughts and attitudes. You might say, “Well, the economy is wreaking havoc on my business.” Or, “This relationship is just too far gone.” But today is the day to take your life back!Take your life back by taking your thoughts back. Don’t allow the negative to have access any longer. Instead, meditate on the truth daily and allow the truth to sink down deep into your being. Today, as you take captive every thought and you are setting yourself up for victory. You are positioning yourself to take your life back! Are you in or out of control of your life today?

Panic Button

When everyone is hitting the “In Case of Emergency” button, they’re looking for a Champion. How you respond to adversity determines if you’re a Champion or not.

When those around you are caving in and are panicking; you remain calm and perform at a higher level. You are the one that they are looking for. You are the one that steps up to the plate and delivers more than anyone expects. A Champion does not have a panic button. There is no hysterical rant, finger pointing, head down, shoulders slumped. A Champion is poised even in the heat of battle. An unstoppable person is level headed. Champions are unstoppable and relentless because they know how to use their mental conditioning to control the physical. Champions in the physical are first Champions in the mental. They control the mind and then the mind controls the body. I see the opposite far too often. Watch those that lose it when the going gets tough. Those are the ones that are letting their mind control them and then the body follows suit. Are you in control of your mental game today? How do you respond when the ‘emergency” comes? Be the one who the others look for when the panic button is pressed. Are you a Champion today?

Heights and Levels

It should be your desire that you continually progress, that you reach higher heights and go to new levels.

During times like these, it’s easy to get discouraged and allow fear to creep in. But instead, why don’t you focus on the fact that you are a Champion. There is nothing too difficult for you; nothing is impossible, nothing is beyond your ability. You are safe. You are cared for. No matter what you may be going through today, you can trust that God is for you. Instead of getting down and depressed over your circumstances, look up and get a vision of God turning that situation around. Do what you do and let the rest go. You have what it takes. You are unstoppable, a relentless Champion! Face the situation and know that; you got this. Are you in control today?
