Your Peace

An umpire calls the players safe or out. We have an internal umpire, so to speak, calling the plays and giving us direction.
Before you ever make a decision, you should stop and see if you have peace inside. If there’s unrest or an uneasy feeling inside, then don’t move forward. Let peace be your umpire. How many people get into a relationship that they didn’t have peace about and end up miserable? They buy things they didn’t have peace about. They end up in debt. They take a job they didn’t have peace about. They end up frustrated. Here’s the key: If you don’t have peace before you make the decision, you’re not going to have peace after you make the decision. If you don’t have peace about that person now, you’re not going to have peace if you get into relationship. If you don’t have peace about buying that new car, you’re not going to have peace when the payments come each month. Let peace in your heart be your umpire and settle any questions you have in your mind. Do you have peace today?

Peace is Key

Throughout life, there will always be something that will try to take our peace.

If it’s not a grumpy sales person, it’s a family member aggravating you, traffic is backed up, your flight got delayed, or your spouse is taking too long! Don’t go the next 20 years allowing the same people and same circumstances to frustrate you. Change your approach. What’s upsetting you now doesn’t have to upset you anymore. You can choose to keep your cool and stay calm and steady. Remember, a relaxed attitude is going to lengthen your life. The next time you’re tempted to be upset, ask yourself, “Is this really worth me giving up my peace?” If you’ll make this decision to not give away your peace, to live each day happy, God promises you’ll be strong, you’ll have better relationships and you’ll accomplish more. Do you have peace in your life today?

No Worry All Peace

You should not live worried and anxious about anything, but stay in peace.

You know that worry is counterproductive. It steals your peace and joy and affects every area of your life — your sleep, your health, your peace. Worry steals precious moments of time that you can never get back. Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Don’t feed worry by focusing on bad news all the time. Sure, we should be informed, but we should be more informed of the truth; not facts. Go after peace in every situation today. Don’t allow situations and conditions to cause you to worry and stress. Move toward the truth of the situation and stay in peace. Do you have peace in your life today?

Stress or Peace

Holding stress inside only creates more stress. By sharing with someone you trust, you will discover things that will improve the situation.

It’s so easy to let the pressures and distractions of life pull our thoughts away from your purpose in life. It doesn’t take long before we are so focused on non-important things that we feel overwhelmed and all stressed out. We weren’t meant to live anxious about life; we were meant to live in peace. Did you know the best thing you can do for health is to set your heart at peace with God? Peace isn’t just a feeling, it’s a powerful position. Peace literally means “to set at one again.” In other words, we can be settled in our minds and hearts when we are in alignment with God. It is a position of life, strength and confidence. Choose to keep your heart at peace by staying focused on the truth. Give life to your body by staying in agreement with your destiny. Are you holding in stress today or living in peace?

Grace and Peace

Grace and peace are such powerful forces in your life.

Grace empowers us and peace directs us. It’s like this: grace is the gas and peace is the navigation system. You need both to reach your destination. The Bible tells us that we are saved by God’s grace through faith. We don’t deserve it and can’t earn His grace and forgiveness, but He gives it to us anyway. Grace opens the door to salvation, but it doesn’t stop there. His grace is supernatural empowerment to live the life God has called us to here on earth. Peace is every bit as powerful. It’s not just a feeling; it’s a state of being. Peace literally means “to set at one again.” Are you experiencing grace and peace today?

Peaceful

I’ve learned that some people are peace stealers.

They feel like it’s their calling in life to aggravate you, try to make you look bad, and tell you what you can’t do. They’ll try to bait you into an argument to get you upset, annoyed and frustrated. But don’t take the bait! Nothing is worth losing your peace over. They may think they’re getting the best of you, but in the end, God can use that to take you higher. When people come against you, choose to keep your peace. Choose to forgive. Pray for that person because that’s how you disarm the enemy against you. Scripture says your battle isn’t against flesh and blood. In others words, that person isn’t your enemy; the accuser—Satan—is your enemy. He’s trying to bring division and get you upset. But when you choose to keep peace, when you keep walking in love and keep a smile on your face, you are overcoming his tactics. That’s how you win. Today, choose peace, choose to walk in love, and choose the victory God has prepared for you. Is someone stealing your peace today?

Control

If you understand this you will know peace.

Some things are within the power of Are you struggling with trying to make a dream come true? Are you frustrated in a relationship, trying to make someone else change or live out their destiny? You may mean well, you may have good goals, but if you are trying to orchestrate things to happen your way, on your timetable, you are only going to frustrate yourself. At some point, you have to turn those circumstances over to God and trust that He has your best interest at heart. How do you turn things over to God? Start by making the choice and declaring your resolve. Simply say, “God, I choose to let You be God of this situation. I take my hands off. I trust You.”  Today, take the pressure off yourself and turn things over to God. Give Him control and let Him take your setbacks and turn them into comebacks. Remember, the God who holds the universe holds you in the palm of His hand. Trust Him and let God be God in every area of your life!  Are you trusting God with the things you can’t control?

Guilt

Living in guilt leads to discouragement and hopelessness.

When you live with guilt in your life you will never be able to be happy. Guilt is like a weight tied around your neck. You will never be able to enjoy the life that God has given you. You will never be able to walk in your purpose or destiny if you hold on to guilt. Know this, guilt doesn’t hold on to you, you hold on to it. Let it go. Get your healing and be free from guilt. You have done wrong things; I have done wrong things, but there is no reason for us to carry around guilt. Let it go today. You may be guilty of doing this or that, but receive your forgiveness and put aside that weight of guilt. When you let the guilt go, you take hope and encouragement in it’s place. Walk in hope, forgiveness, love and peace today. Be free of the joy robbing guilt. Are you free of guilt today?
