Being There

Remember that winning is a byproduct of being where you need to be when you need to be there.

I have learned that being where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing will make life much simpler for you. Champions know this. Being unstoppable, you know your place. You understand how to work in your purpose. You know where you need to be at and what you need to be doing. You do what you do and let others do what they do. It’s very simple in fact. Stop trying to do other people’s job and do your own. This will assure that you are where you are supposed to be. You are able to more in less time because you are in your strength zone. If you desire to be a Champion then find where you belong. Determine your place in life. Then go do what you were created to do. Are you where you are supposed to be today?

Be Responsible

If you did it, own it. If you said it, stand by it. Not just the mistakes, but all your decisions and choices.

Taking responsibility for all your actions is a must for a Champion. Whether positive or negative own your stuff. We usually talk about taking responsibility for your actions in the negative aspect. However, I want to encourage you to take responsibility for the positive stuff that you do too. Stand by all that you do. By doing this you will be more careful in all that you say and do. We all have done and said things that we aren’t proud of and some we are proud of. The common denominator is that we are the one that did it or said it. As a Champion you have to be transparent. So be careful what you say, what you do, and where you go. People are watching you and listening to you. As a Champion you are in more of the spotlight than you may like. You may not be on the National News but if you’re not careful you just may be. When I see you on the news I want to see you lifting a Championship trophy. Are you responsible for your actions today?

Taking Responsibility

Taking on responsibility not looking for privileges is a mark of a Champion.

When you are given much, you tend to expect much. That is one of the issues with privilege. When you haven’t had to work hard for something, but have been given it, it’s not the same. Privilege over responsibility has hurt a lot of people. The better and higher a person goes they expect more and more privileges. However, a Champion knows that the higher they go, the more responsibility they have and the fewer privileges. It’s the upside down triangle image. The farther up you go the smaller the privilege point. I have seen many people fall because they couldn’t handle the privilege point. A Champion has to be take on more responsibility than those around. A relentless person is one who isn’t looking for privileges in the first place. Be the person in the room that takes the responsibility for making it happen. Don’t look for someone to hand it to you, but go do it. That’s a key point for a Champion. Be unstoppable by taking the responsibility of getting it done. Are you taking responsibility today?
