Getting Better

I don’t care how good you think you are, or how great others think you are–you can improve, and you will.

I have had the experience of working with championships teams in Mental Conditioning. One thing that was common was that there was always room for improvement. This is true for you and I too. No matter how good you are, you can always be better. I stress to people not to be a perfectionist, but to always strive to improve. Most people once they feel like they have accomplished their goal, made it to the top, or finished the project tend to get complacent. This is a dangerous place to be. When you stop improving, stop trying to get better, then someone is going to take your place. The saying, ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, is misleading. You can always tweak it. If you can’t tweak it, then I suggest you break it. Be careful when reading your success headlines. Stay focused on your purpose and destiny. Keep looking for ways to make yourself and those around you better. Are you getting better today?
