Positive Legacy

Your actions determine how someone sees you. If you have the choice about leaving a mark in the mind of others, do your best to leave a positive legacy.

You will be remembered in some way; why not make it positive. Granted, you can’t specifically determine how others think about you. That doesn’t excuse you from leaving a good legacy. I know in my own life I have done and said things that would cause me to have a “not so good” legacy. However, I am working on leaving a positive legacy each day. People may not remember what you said to them, but they will never forget how you made them feel. That is a major key in leaving a positive, good legacy. Your actions do speak on your behalf. By serving others, you lead them. Be a giver not a taker. Look for the best in others. Give the benefit of the doubt. Don’t expect perfection from others, while allowing yourself to get by with what ever. The legacy you leave issue up to you. Do you want it to be positive of negative? The choice is really up to you. Start today; building a positive legacy. What does your legacy look like?
