Gift Idea

People who always seem to be frustrated, angry, upset, blaming others, and just in a bad mood more than likely have forgiveness issues.

When we carry around unforgiveness in our heart, it will make us bitter, resentful and just plain mean.  Unforgiveness will eat at you from the inside out.  There is not anything worse than a person carrying around a heart full of unforgiveness.  They seem to be mad at the world.  Nothing ever goes their way, everyone is out to get them and so on.  It is only when we forgive others and ourselves that we can have the peace, joy, love and happiness that we all so desperately desire.  When we can unload the unforgiveness it will give you the peace and hope.  This Christmas give yourself the give that will be a blessing to you and those around you; give forgiveness.  Whether or not they ask for it or even care if you do forgive them. Forgive everyone that has ever wronged you! Do it today! Today being my birthday I am giving the gift of forgiveness. I can already tell a difference.

Together

To live a life of destiny, you have to realize one thing–you can’t do it on your own.  You can’t make it in this life and have a victorious life all by your lonesome.

You can’t resist the desire to compromise all by yourself.  You can’t break addictions in your own strength.  You need God’s help and the help of those who care about you.  We al have good intentions and want to do the right thing, but the flesh is weak.  We have to have help in order to do what is right.  Don’t wait until you’re in the middle of the battle, when your emotions are high and your passions are out of control.  Plan ahead, pray ahead, to meet the enemy head on.  Identify your weak areas and rely on God to help you resist and overcome them.  Don’t let something small keep you from the big things planned for your life.  Learn to resist temptation and rely on God.  Then you will walk in victory and see the fruit of your good decisions and choice.

Finish With Excellence

Even if you are dog tired today; don’t you settle for average. Push yourself to be excellent. Do the extra mile; don’t just try to get by.

As the year nears the end, we all get super busy.  Being so busy can be not just physically draining, but mentally draining too.  It can be easy to cut corners and settle for average during this time.  I challenge you to finish the year strong. Finish the year with excellence.  Don’t get caught up in the non-essential, mind and physically draining aspects of the holiday season.  It is Christmas and Jesus is all about excellence. So honor the Christmas season with Christmas spirit and don’t settle, but do more for others than they expect. Do it for the right reason and find yourself energized, not dog tired. Finish 2011 strong!

Revive the Passion

Take time today to reflect on what has taken place in your life this year. Then project to next year; learn from this year to make 2012 even greater.

You may not have gotten everything done this year that you had planned to do. That’s okay; don’t give up on your dream. You may have lost your passion for what you are to be doing.  Going into the next year let’s get that passion back.  Yes, you still have a purpose and a destiny.  Guard your mind these last few days of the year and prepare yourself for a great 2012.  Let’s have a great mental plan for the new year. Let’s be ready to make 2012 our greatest year ever.  You can do it! You can finish this year strong, and start next year a great note.  Don’t let your dreams and passion end with the year. This is a great time to be alive! Make the most of the few days in this year and get ready for an awesome 2012.

Just a Little Faith

There are people today that when someone encourages them; they have a hard time receiving and believing the words being spoken over them.

Some believe that their time has past them by.  If that were so, they would be dead. If you are still alive then your time has not passed you by.  Some think that because of their past they have no future.  Your past mistakes and bad decisions don’t disqualify you from your destiny, but rather they qualify you for your destiny. There is nothing that you can do that separate you from your destiny.  The only person that can disqualify and stop you; is you.  Some think that they are good enough in whatever area to make a difference in the world.  You have the goods, you have what it takes inside you right now to be a world changer.  Make the decision today to have faith in yourself.  No one may believe in you, but you; that’s just fine.  You keep doing what God has told you to do and don’t doubt for a second.  You will see your destiny begin to unfold before your eyes.  Have a little faith in yourself today and see great things tomorrow.

Not Necessary

It’s not necessary to tell a starving man he is hungry.  It’s not necessary to tell a dehydrated man he is thirsty. So why must we tell people of their faults, mistakes, issues, and sins?

People know when they are doing wrong and the wrong they have done in their life.  We all know the mistakes we have made, the sins in our life and the issues we face everyday.  Having people throw that in our face is not going to help.  Judging and condemning is not going to help.  On the other hand, offering encouragement, hope, forgiveness, a shoulder to lean on can make a difference.  Understanding where someone is, is not condoning what they are doing or agreeing with what they are doing.  Offer people a peace of mind not a piece of your mind.  We all have those areas that we need help in.  Be an encourager today. Don’t tell them all the wrong stuff in their life, give them hope and build on the right stuff.  Make a positive difference today!

Tis the Season

This time of year there are more depressed people than any other time.  People tend to be more depressed during Thanksgiving and Christmas; the most festive time of the year.

During the Holidays make it a point to reach to those around you that don’t have someone in their life.  Make those in your life know that you are thankful for them.  Show them the appreciation, the love, the generosity that we all desire.  There should be no one you are close to that is depressed; at least not because you didn’t do your part to help them.  By helping others, we too are helped.  If you tend to have depression this time of year; then by reaching out to others we get our mind on them and not on our own situation.  Take time to give the present of hope today and everyday.  You can make a difference in someone’s life and at the same time you will be making a difference in your own life.  Be a giver of hope!

Ever Notice

Ever been “in a place” where you were scared someone would speak to you; yet sad because no one did? Only If you have been there do you know.

When you walk into a room and see that person alone; have you wondered why they are not talking to anyone? Why are they isolated from everyone else? We all have been on one side or the other in this case; some have been on both sides.  Our insecurities can put us in a place where we really don’t want to be.  Those insecurities and fears will then keep us in that place.  Today send notice to those insecurities and fears that we will not stay here any longer.  Don’t let those insecurities keep you in that place.  Just because you have insecurities doesn’t mean you have to stay insecure. Know that everyone has some type of insecurity. Don’t every let your insecurity lead you to think you are the only that has fears or insecurities.  Today is your day to break out of that place

It's Game Time

Have you lost your passion for life? Do you dread having to get up and face another day? What happened to your get up and go? It’s time today to get your drive back.

We all have moments when we lose our drive for life, maybe just for a moment.  Today is your day to get back in the game.  Your destiny, your purpose, your calling in life does not have you on the sidelines or completely out of the game.  You may have suffered some injuries and setbacks, but it’s time to get back up and get back in the game.  There are people around you that are depending on you. There are people that you don’t even know that need you back in the game.  Your destiny goes way farther than just your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers.  You have an awesome calling on your life.  Don’t let it pass you by.  There will be a time to rest, but not a time to give up.  Even if doesn’t look like anyone cares or that anyone needs you; trust me you are cared about and you are needed. Choose today to get back in the game. Don’t sit on the sidelines another minute. It’s game time!

Going Through

No matter what you are going through there is somebody that has gone through it before you; take courage in that, have hope in that, you too can go through it too.

Life has a way to be very unfair at times.  Many of you have had to endure some terrible situations, been done wrong, and had to go through tough times that no one should have to go through.  However, you can and will make it through these times.  Don’t lose hope, keep your faith, know that better days are yet ahead.  You have not seen the end, but you are only in the beginning of your coming out.  You can be a better person because of what you are enduring.  If you have come out of your tough season, then don’t be bitter or angry because you had to go through it. Also, don’t hold unforgiveness toward anybody that put you through that difficult time.  Freely let go and forgive today. Be the better person. Learn from your tough times.  You are awesome. Today is your day of breakthrough!
