Never Doubt Yourself

Do you really, without a doubt believe that you have a purpose and a destiny? Is there a God-given plan for your life today?

There may be situations from your past that could cause you to doubt in your importance here.  We all may not be known world wide but you are important.  You are more important than you may think.  You do have a purpose, a destiny, and there is a God-given plan for your life.  Think outside the box concerning your life. Dream It Big

Everyone has a vision of something. The question is; what does your picture look like? Do you see yourself rising higher? Living a prosperous life? Accomplishing your dreams? Or has your vision become limited by your environment?

What you see is what you’re going to move toward.  If you have a small vision, you’re going to have a small life.  But if you’ll let the seeds of greatness flourish that God’s planted on the inside and get a greater vision, God will take you places you never thought possible.  When your vision changes, your life will change.

Stormy Weather

We all have opportunities to get upset and live stressed out. The storms of life come to every person. No matter how good a person you are, you’re going to have some “rain” in your life. When these storms come, a lot people use their faith to try to control their circumstances. But I’ve found it’s better to use my faith to control myself in the midst of my circumstances. I know that if I can just remain stable in the storms of life and stay in peace, that’s what allows God to act on my behalf.

God never said that we wouldn’t have difficulties, but He did promise we could have peace in the middle of the storms. When you face adversities, one of the most powerful things you can do is simply stay calm. When you are at peace, you are displaying your faith in God. By your actions you’re saying, “God, I know You’re still in charge. I know You’re bigger than this problem.” So keep peace in the middle of your storms today. Trust that He is working behind the scenes. Keep your heart open to Him because soon He will deliver you!

Rescued

There are people today that need rescuing.  Who haven’t you seen around lately? Who doesn’t come to the gym, church, restaurant, or any other meeting place like they used to?

There are folk in your life that have dropped off the radar. Where did they go? Where are they at? Don’t just write them off. Go find them and bring them back to where they should be today. You may have to get your hands dirty. You may have to get rid of your pride and go after them.  “Well, I’m not going to chase after them, they know where we are,” won’t cut it.  Make sure they know that they are needed, they are missed, they are appreciated and they are loved.  They make have lost their sense of purpose, their destiny for some reason.  You have a responsibility to go to them, even when they don’t respond.  They may need the attention they are seeking.  What’s the worse that can happen? You may get rejected time and time again.  Don’t give up, keep going after them.  You are not wasting your time. Go after the ones that have drifted away today!

Barney

God wants us to help others win in life, to be people who reach back, invest and help others become the best person they can be.  We each have skills, influence, position and knowledge to impart to others.  There are doors we can help open for others that will launch them into their destiny.  There was a man in Bible name Barnabas.  He helped Paul get started in his destiny.  He stood up for Paul when no one else did.  Paul went on to write half the New Testament.

You can be a Barnabas, today, in someone’s life.  You can help someone come up higher and help them step into their God-planned destiny.  Simply look around.  Who are you investing in? Who are you making better?  Who are you pushing up? Your destiny is tied to helping others.  And remember, what you make happen of for others, God will make happen for you.

Never Give Up

It has been said many times in many different ways; “Don’t give up.” It’s some of the best advice anyone could ever give.

There are going to be days when it looks like you have no choice but to give up. That is the day you must stand strong and face the situation head on.  There will be times when it looks like you are going to lose your mind if you don’t give up. That is the day that you must make up your mind to not give in to that temptation.  There will always be good reasons to give up, but the truth always says, never give up. Don’t give up on your relationships, don’t give up on your finances, don’t give up on your health, your goals are within your reach.  It is during the tough times that we find out what we are made of. Know that God did not give you an assignment just to see you fail it.  Failure is not a permanent thing, unless you make it such.  Giving up should never be an option for you.  The truth is you go through tough situations to prove yourself.  Grow from, learn from, and go through those hard days.  See yourself in a whole new light when you don’t give up, but rather you overcome.

Difficult Tmes

Everyone deals with unexpected difficulties in life.  No one is immune to difficulties.  Trusting in God though does give you an advantage.

God promises if we will stay in faith He will take what was meant for our harm and not only use it to our advantage, but He will use it to display His greatness to other people. When the unexpected happens, instead of falling apart, it’s the time more than ever to expect God to show up and turn the situation around.  God has a plan to prosper you through every circumstance. Learn how to release your faith during unexpected difficulties and how God can turn your life around for the good.

Barely Getting By

God doesn’t want you to live with a “barely-get-by” attitude. He has new seasons of increase in front of you. He wants you to thrive, to live an abundant, overflowing life!

Sometimes when things seem difficult, it’s easy to slip into “survival mode.” When times get tough, it’s tempting to just “hunker down” and settle where we are. If you’re not careful, you’ll develop a survival mentality that will keep you from growing and releasing your faith. You’ll be happy just to “break even.” But God does not want us to just break even; we’re supposed to break through to a new level! We’re supposed to believe for more of God’s favor, increase and promotion no matter what is happening in the world around us. Make up your mind today that no matter how difficult things seem, you are going to thrive every day! Take hold of God’s promises and declare that you are rising higher. As you continue to expect His favor and increase, you’ll see His hand of blessing in your life, and you will thrive and live in victory all the days of your life.

Silence Can Be Golden

Our silence can be our loudest message.  So much of the time, it’s what we don’t say that speaks louder than anything we do say.

Most people feel like they have to speak their mind.  However, most of the time, if they would just give a peace of mind rather than a piece of their mind things would turn out much better for all.  There are many times when just a pat on the back, a hug, a smile is all that is needed.  Words are very powerful, but so are our actions. There is something to be said about just standing beside someone, letting them know that you have their back and you are with them no matter what happens.  Usually people don’t remember what we say, but how we make them feel.  Your actions can make them feel much better.  If you do find it absolutely necessary to speak, be sure what you say.  Choose your words carefully when you speak.  Know that your silence can speak very clearly and strong too.
