What You Think

You are not ordinary. You didn’t come off an assembly line.

You weren’t mass-produced. You are an original design. Nobody else in this world has your fingerprints. You are a masterpiece! It is so important to get this down in your spirit. When you do — and when you begin to see yourself as God created you — you will start to understand your real purpose and your God-given destiny. You will be able to reach your highest potential! Right now, you may not like who you are. You might wish you were taller, had a better personality or that your metabolism worked a little faster. Maybe you’re self-conscious about a physical attribute or perceived imperfection or you just don’t think that you are lovable. I want to encourage you. Right now, begin to change any negative opinions you have of yourself. Stop focusing on your flaws and comparing yourself to someone else. God has made you unique and special just the way you are. When you understand this, it brings new opportunities, new relationships. Your value doesn’t come from what you look like, or what you do or who you know. Every morning, remind yourself that you are God’s creation. Declare, “I am not average. I am not ordinary. I have the fingerprints of God all over me. I am a masterpiece.”  God created everything about you on purpose…your looks, your skin color, your height, your personality, your talents and gifts. If you see yourself as strong, talented and valuable, then that’s the way other people will see you. But if you see yourself as “less than,” not talented and not valuable, then that’s the way others will see you. Choose to start loving yourself in a healthy way, being proud of the person God made you to be. How do you see yourself today right now?

Victorious Finish

Everyone goes through seasons of disappointment or difficulty.

We all have unexpected setbacks. Maybe you’re going through something right now that you don’t understand. Here’s the good news: that disappointment is not the final chapter. God never ends in a negative. If you will keep moving forward with your life, God promises that He will bring you to a flourishing finish. Not a defeated finish, a bankrupt finish, a betrayed finish, or a barely-get-by finish. No, in your future, God has a victorious finish. That setback, disappointment or betrayal that seems like it’s working against you, God knows how to turn it around and cause it to work for you. The key is that when you’re in difficult times, don’t settle where you are. Don’t put your roots down and think that things are never going to change. No, for every setback, God has already lined up a comeback. For every injustice, He has vindication. For every disappointment, He has restoration. Right now, just begin to thank Him for what He’s going to do. Praise Him for His faithfulness. Are you ready for a strong, victorious finish today?

Do You Remember

People today instead of remembering their victories, they’re remembering their defeats, failures or disappointments.

You’ve got to switch over and start remembering the times God protected you; the times God showed you love; the times God made a way when it looked like there was no way. That’s going to cause faith and expectancy to rise in your heart. You’ll have the confidence that if God did it for you back then, He can certainly do it for you right now. I encourage you, remember your victories. Tell your children. Tell your neighbors. Tell your friends. Keep bragging on the goodness of God and move forward in the victory He has in store for you. What do you remember today?

Never Complacent

Complacency is the root of mediocrity, and mediocrity is success’s worst enemy.

God will never ask you to do something without giving you the ability to do it. You may get passive or complacent and think, “Yes, I know I need to do that. Maybe next week.” Well, next week turns into next month. Next month turns into next year. When we put off what God has told us to do, we miss that season of grace. But, if you’ll deal with things as soon as God brings them to light, you’ll have a special grace, a special empowerment. You’ll feel God’s enabling power helping you to do it. Today, is there something you’re putting off? Something you know in heart that you are supposed to do? Don’t let the season of grace pass. Don’t let complacency destroy you. Your destiny stands before you. God has something amazing in your future. Be bold, be strong. Step out in faith, be obedient, and embrace the good things God has in store for you. Are you doing what God has told you to do today?

Your Mind’ Eye

Successful people have a “positive mentality.” They see it in their mind before it happens.

We were created as visual beings.  It all starts with what you see in your mind’s eye. Everyone has their own mental picture of the way they see themselves, their family and their future. This picture determines what kind of life you live. If you have an image of success, victory, health, happiness and abundance, you will naturally gravitate toward that. If you have an image of lack, defeat and mediocrity, that negative mental picture will keep you from your best. Remember, if you’re going to be successful, you have to first see yourself as successful — the way God sees you. Take time today to start developing a positive mindset about yourself. See it in your mind and make it happen in your life. What do you see in your mind in regards to your life?

Stress or Peace

Holding stress inside only creates more stress. By sharing with someone you trust, you will discover things that will improve the situation.

It’s so easy to let the pressures and distractions of life pull our thoughts away from your purpose in life. It doesn’t take long before we are so focused on non-important things that we feel overwhelmed and all stressed out. We weren’t meant to live anxious about life; we were meant to live in peace. Did you know the best thing you can do for health is to set your heart at peace with God? Peace isn’t just a feeling, it’s a powerful position. Peace literally means “to set at one again.” In other words, we can be settled in our minds and hearts when we are in alignment with God. It is a position of life, strength and confidence. Choose to keep your heart at peace by staying focused on the truth. Give life to your body by staying in agreement with your destiny. Are you holding in stress today or living in peace?

Moving Forward

Your success is having the courage and tenacity to get past bad breaks, bad decisions, wrong moves.

Every person has had negative things spoken over them in the past. Maybe someone told you that you don’t have what it takes or that you’re not going to be successful. It’s almost like they cursed your future. But the good news is that the blessing of God is greater than any curse. If you’ll get rid of those negative strongholds and choose to believe what God says about you in His Word, you will begin to see a turning point in your life. Today, I speak blessings over you — that you are strong and courageous. You are full of talent, creativity, and wisdom. You can accomplish your God-given dreams. You walk in divine health. You have favor with every person you meet. Everything you touch is going to succeed. Those seeds of greatness on the inside of you are growing stronger and stronger. That hidden treasure is about to show itself and you’re going to come in to new seasons, You are who God says you are. You have what God says you have. I declare you can do everything God says you can do. Are ready to move forward in your life today?

Keep Growing

Too many people suffer from “destination disease.”

In other words, they’ve reached a certain level or obtained a goal, now they’re coasting in life off of what they’ve already learned. Studies tell us that 50% of people, after they graduate from high school, will never read an entire book the rest of their life. One reason is that people see learning as a period of life instead of a way of life. They think, “I’m out of school. I’m done with my training. I’ve got my job.” Whether you’re 90 years old or 9 years old, you should be constantly learning, improving your skills, and getting better at what you do. The key is that you have to take responsibility for your growth. Growth is not automatic. What steps are you taking to get better? Are you reading books? Listening to teaching CD’s? Are you taking any courses on the internet? Going to any seminars? Do you have any mentors? Don’t just coast through life relying on what you’ve already learned. You have treasure on the inside. Develop your talent and become all that God created you to be. Are you still growing today?

Release It

We all go through disappointments, setbacks and things that we don’t understand.

Maybe you prayed for something, but it didn’t happen. Maybe you worked hard for a promotion, but you didn’t get it. You believed for a relationship, but it didn’t work out. One of the best things you can do is release it. Let it go. Don’t dwell on it anymore. If you go around wondering why things didn’t work out, all that will do is lead to bitterness, resentment and self-pity. Before long, you’ll be blaming others, blaming yourself, or even God. You may not understand what happened. It may not have been fair. When you release it, it’s an act of your faith. You’re saying, “God, I trust You. I know You’re in control. Even though it didn’t work out my way, You said, ‘All things are going to work together for my good.’ So I believe You still have something good in my future.” There is power in letting go of the past and the frustration of trying to figure everything out. When you release your questions, you are saying, “God, You are in control. I trust You.” When you put your hope in God, that’s when He can heal your heart. Are you able to let go of hurts and move forward today?

Extraordinary

If you want to be extraordinary, the first thing you have to do is stop being ordinary.

We all face challenges. We all have obstacles to overcome. But if we can keep the right perspective, it will help us stay focused so that we can move forward to success. You may feel right now like the challenges that you face are too big or too overwhelming. One thing I’ve learned is that average people have average problems. Ordinary people have ordinary challenges. Remember, you’re not average. You’re not ordinary. You are extraordinary. You are exceptional, and exceptional people face exceptional difficulties. The good news is that we serve an exceptional When you have an extraordinary problem; instead of being discouraged, be encouraged knowing that you’re an extraordinary person and have an extraordinary future. Your path is shining brighter and brighter. You are on an extraordinary path. Keep standing in faith, keep declaring victory over your future. Are you extraordinary?
