No Blaming

When something goes wrong, a Champion doesn’t blame others because they never count on anyone else to get the job done in the first place.

This is part of not blaming others when things go wrong. A Champion isn’t looking for someone else to be doing the work anyways. Unstoppable people are leaders, take charge type people. You are willing to be the one out front and willing to make a mistake. You take the blame and give the credit. It’s not about all that, it’s about results. A Champion is willing to fail, but never willing to be a failure. Many think that Champions never fail at what they do, but that is far from the truth. They have many failures on their way to success. Being unstoppable means that they keep going when they fail. They learn from what happened and apply the knowledge they gained. That is wisdom. Not to say that all Champions are wise but the majority of them are very wise. I would say that Champions that remain champions for a long time are wise people. So as you become a Champion today, don’t blame other people when something goes haywire. You never expected them to do the work in the first place. Are you blaming others still today?

Determined

A Champion will decide how to get the job done, and then they do whatever is necessary to make it happen.

There is no giving up in a Champion. Every Champion I have ever met is unstoppable. They see the situation in question, then devise a process to get the done completed. Then they do whatever has to be done to get it done. Once you have decided to take on the task, don’t stop until it is done. There are many who start the process but very few that actually finish. If you desire to be a Champion, that is the simple process. The process may be simple, however, the working of the process is the hard part. It is hard work being unstoppable. A lot of that comes from those that aren’t unstoppable, that don’t want you to be either. People that stop, give up and quit do not want you to keep going, not give up and finish. That is why you have to be determined when you are unstoppable. You have what it takes to be the Champion you have dreamed about being. Are you determined today?

Darkest Hour is Finest Hour

A Champion is completely focused in taking responsibility and taking charge, whether they’re competing in sports, business, or driving a bus.

When you are unstoppable you first step up and take responsibility and then you take charge of the situation. A Champion never blames others for what has gone wrong. A Champion isn’t concerned about getting the credit for what has gone right. A Champion is only concerned with results. Included in those results is making a positive difference in others. Unstoppable people make those around them better. The only way to do this is to be responsible for what you are doing and what is going on around you. Also, you have to take charge of yourself and your emotions. The way you respond to the situation you are in will determine a lot about the outcome. When the situation you’re dealing with gets the hardest, darkest, and most difficult that is when you rise to the top. This is your finest hour, as Winston Churchill spoke of England during WWII. During their darkest hour they were at their finest. Are you at your finest when life is at it’s darkest?

I Own This

A Champion’s attitude can be summed up in three words: ‘I own this’.

When you’re a Champion you don’t back down from a challenge. You know that no matter what happens you will find a way to win. You have the confident, borderline cocky attitude of ‘I own this.’ An unstoppable person is very confident but humble at the same time. There is a fine line there, but you are willing to walk it. You have to know that you have what it takes to get the job done. Whether it’s athletics, business world, or school; you know that you are going to get it done. There is no question that when you get knocked down that you will be back up. You have a destiny to fulfill. Too many people don’t ever get started living their destiny. This makes it even more important for you to live out your purpose. If you’re down, get back up today. ‘You own this.’ We are in this together. Are you ready to be mentally tougher today than you were yesterday?

Whatever It Takes

Being unstoppable is about the relentless instinctive drive to do whatever it takes–anything–to get to the top of where you want to be.

Whether you are a world class athlete, a stay at home mom, or work construction you too can and should strive to be unstoppable. There is no reason not to desire to be a Champion. You have been given an assignment by God. He had a plan designed for you before you were ever born. He never intends on you to be a loser or a failure. However, it is up to you if you will be unstoppable. No one can do it for you. Only you have the ability to be a Champion, no one can give that to you. There can be no giving up when life gets tough and unfair. That is when you are at your best. When others are stopping you are being unstoppable. Take the challenge that life is giving you and over come it. Make the difference, not only in your world, but in other people’s world too. Are you willing to do whatever it takes today?

Controlled Response

When all hell breaks loose on the outside, you barely notice; you’re calm on the inside because you’re ready, prepared, and the best at what you do.

Are you unstoppable? Are you a Champion? If the opening sentence describes you, then you are. When everyone else is scrambling around, out of their minds, you are in control of your emotions. It may be that you have to ‘fake it to you make’ type thing. However, there comes a day when you wake up and realize that not only are you cool on the outside, but you are in control on the inside. There won’t have to be a ‘fake it’ time any longer. There has to be mental toughness on your part. It takes self control and determination too. You have to be willing to be the one that is different than the rest. In this case, though, its a good different. You are the one that others will look to when it hits the fan. No more excuses as to why you can’t be in control of your emotions and mind. Take control of the way you respond in difficult situations. The hotter the situation gets the cooler you respond. You can do this because you got this. This is why you were born. This is your purpose no matter what it is you are doing in life. Are you in control of your emotional responses today?

Be a Doer

Forget about trying, because if you’re just trying, then losing is still an option.

I have used the quote by Master Jedi Yoda many times; “Do or do not. There is no try.” When you try that means that you are leaving room for losing. We don’t stop until we win. By winning I mean finishing the task at hand. There is no room for losing or quitting. When you are unstoppable there is no trying only doing. People use ‘try’ if they aren’t a Champion. Start today being a doer not a trier. There is no room for the option of losing. There is not a chance you are going to give up. Once you have your goal, designed your process, then go do it. Just do it. This is one reason that a Champion doesn’t do stuff that he isn’t supposed to do. What I mean is we do what we were created to do. Unstoppable people stay in their purpose and strength zone. They make the uncomfortable comfortable. So set your mind to what you are to do and go do it. Are you trying or doing today?

Champion Pressure

Where you feel no external pressure, just the internal pressure to prove yourself, over and over.

An unstoppable person doesn’t feel the external pressure on them. This is because they have more internal pressure pushing them upward. The pressure to prove themselves time and time again. A Champion doesn’t have to prove himself to you, but to himself. There will always be pressure on you to be unstoppable. Which pressure do you respond to? The internal or the external? The external pressure is heavy and causes you to fail. However, the internal pressure to be a Champion pushes you higher and higher. Never allow external pressure to keep you down. But always allow the internal pressure to raise you higher. A Champion, an unstoppable person uses pressure to their advantage. You must have the mental toughness and skill to turn the disadvantages to your advantage. If you are striving to be unstoppable and a Champion today, then you must not have the physical training and skills, but the mental training and skills too. Are you ready to be a Champion today?

Unstoppable You

If you want to be unstoppable, you have to face who you really are and make it work for you, not against you.

People pretend to be something that they aren’t, whether for the worse or for the better. Either way it won’t work if you want to be unstoppable. To be unstoppable you have to know you are in all reality. Once you know the true you, you then make it work in your favor. You were created to be a difference maker. God created you to be unique and specifically you. Being unstoppable doesn’t mean that you are perfect. However, if you are living in your purpose zone then you are perfect. Your imperfections are what make you perfect for your destiny. Be comfortable with yourself. Being unstoppable also means that you don’t stop yourself. Don’t wait another day. It’s time for you to step up to unstoppable. You have too much living to do not to be unstoppable. Are you ready to face the reality of who you are today?

Dealing With Reality

Being a Champion is about dealing with reality, facing your demons and addictions, and not putting a smiley face on everything you do. Working in the field of Sports Psychology, I see all kinds of athletes and at times their parents and coaches. It seems like today some participants get a trophy just for showing up. I know at a young age it’s not all about winning and losing. Even at the level I work with it’s not all about winning and losing. However, there comes a time when we all have to deal with the reality of the sport and life. It takes more than just showing up, it takes finishing strong. It means finishing when everyone else has quit. You have to have a strong mindset that takes you past the pain of competition. To be a Champion you have to deal with the issues of life, the reality that not everyone is your friend or wants you to win. On top of all that, you have to deal with yourself. Being a Champion means you deal with your demons and addictions, not make excuses for them. I know how that feels to an extreme. Dealing with all the distractions so that they are no longer distractions takes the mindset of a Champion. So put away your trophy for showing up and get ready to do battle with your opponents. Are you ready to face the realities of life today?
