Expert

Did you know that according to all the laws of aerodynamics, a bumblebee should not be able to fly?

Its wingspan is too small for the size of its body. It can’t get enough lift. But here’s the key: Nobody told the bumblebee. It didn’t get the memo. No experts were able to talk it out of flying. The bumblebee felt its wings on its sides and something in its DNA said, “I’m supposed to fly. I’m not made to just crawl around on the ground.” It didn’t read the latest engineering report. It just did what was natural and started flapping its wings and took off into the air. Have you ever had the experts tell you, “You’ll never get well; you’ll never get out of debt; you’ve gone as far as your education allows; this is as good as it gets”? With all due respect, the experts can be wrong. You are a Champion, no matter what anyone has told you. You have a destiny and a purpose filled life. You will do what you were created to do in the world. Are you listening to the so called “experts”?

The dark times in our life should be used as times to grow. We all go through tough seasons in life. It is in these tough, dark times that Champions grow and develop their skill. You have to make the decision to grow when in the dark place. That’s when your character is developed; that’s when you learn to trust, to persevere, when your mental toughness is strengthen. Take a new perspective about the dark times and discover the potential inside of you that you never knew you had as you learn about the plan for your life. How You Face Adversity

It is inevitable, as you become a Champion, that you will face adversity that will try to stop you.

I don’t think we can exhaust the subject of facing adversity. Everyone, the Champions and those that have decided to be average will face adversity. If you are breathing adversity is in your life. It is how you deal with that determines which group you are in. Champions, of course, face the adversity in their life. Turn it to their advantage. Champions learn, grow and become stronger because of the adversity. Average people try to avoid the adversity, ignore it, or just give in to it. That is why they have decided to remain average. Being average is a choice that people make. Those that are unstoppable, don’t let adversity stop them, they use it to move them up and forward. That is a key factor in being a Champion. When things don’t go your way, you don’t sit down, complain, blame and give up. Adversity is just a part of life no matter who you are. How are you handling adversity today?

Flushed

Releasing a negative play and getting to the next play is a skill that must be developed to be a Champion.

When you hold on the something you did wrong you then lose focus in the now. A Champion must have the mindset of being in the present, being in the now. I often tell players and coaches to flush the past plays, especially the negative ones. Just like having a toilet flushing. Not much difference between a negative play and the toilet…. Both need flushing from your mind. Stay present minded. Stay in the now. There is nothing you can do about a negative play. Learn from the it and don’t repeat it. This holds true on the field, the court, the hardwood, and in life. There are going to be days that you make a bad play, don’t keep it from moving forward. Don’t let the mistake you made at the office stop you from your destiny. Don’t let that mistake you made in that relationship stop you from loving others. To be unstoppable you have to continue to move forward. To be relentless you have to stay in the now. Now will always be now. It is constantly moving forward and in the present. There is no now in the past. Release and flush the negative and get to the next play in your life today. Are you staying in the now?

Deleted

No matter what has happened in your life, it is never too late to become everything you were created to be.

The key is to clear out all the negative things people have said about you and focus on the positive! You are not who people say you are. You are who God says you are. You have to clear out what that old coach or teacher said about you. Delete it. Quit thinking on that. You have exactly what you need for the race that’s been designed for you. Clear out what the counselor said, “You’re just a C student. You’re not college material.” Delete it. You’re an A student. You have seeds of greatness. Clear out what the ex-boyfriend or ex-spouse said, “You’re not attractive. You’re not good enough for me.” Delete it. You’re a masterpiece, one of a kind, beautiful, attractive, a Champion. You might even have to clear out what a parent said or whoever raised you. “You’re so undisciplined. You’re never going to amount to much. You can’t do anything right.” Delete it. You are destined to do great things. You’re destined to leave your mark on this generation, and it’s never too late to embrace all your destiny has in store for you. What do you need to delete today?

True Mindset

Many people today don’t realize that the reason they’re not happy, the reason they’re not enjoying life is simply because they’ve trained their minds in the wrong direction.

They’ve programmed their minds to worry. They’ve programmed their minds to complain. They’ve programmed their minds to see the negative. But just as we can train our minds to focus on the negative, we can also reprogram our minds to focus on the positive. It all depends on what we meditate on. When we meditate on the truth we reprogram our minds. When we meditate on the truth, we are developing a right mindset. When we choose to be grateful and focus on what’s right rather than what’s wrong, we are choosing a positive attitude. This doesn’t happen automatically, you have to discipline yourself to focus on the right things. You have to make a conscious effort to spend time developing a truth based mindset every single day until a habit is formed. What is your mind set today?

Program

Our minds work a lot like a computer. The way we program our thinking will determine how our lives are going to function.

You can have the most expensive, powerful computer you can find, but if you load the wrong software, it’s not going to perform at its best. In the same way, many people are not living a victorious life not because there is something wrong with them, but because of what has been programmed in their thinking. They start believing the lies, “I’m not talented. I don’t have a good personality. I’ve made too many mistakes. I’ve reached my limits.” Just like a virus can slow down a perfectly good computer, our wrong thinking can keep us from our destiny. If you’re going to live in victory, you’ve got to know how to hit the delete button. When that thought comes that says, “You’re just average. You’re ordinary.” Hit delete and say, “I’m a masterpiece. I’m one of a kind.” When you hear, “You’ve seen your best days. It’s all downhill from here.” Hit delete and say, “My future will be brighter than my past.” If you will start hitting the delete button on those negative thoughts, your life will go to a new level, and you’ll experience the destiny you were created for. What programming do you have today?

How You See Yourself

Your imagination is extremely powerful.
You are a visual being. Choosing the right images in your mind’s eye is important because your life will move in the direction of your most dominant thoughts. The way you see yourself in your mind’s eye, over time, will drop down into your heart and become your reality. If you’ll create a picture in your imagination of you being a Champion, unstoppable, and relentless, then your life will move in that direction. Every morning, you should wake up and picture yourself succeeding; picture yourself healthy and successful; picture yourself and your family not only being blessed, but being a bigger blessing to others. If you’ll keep the right images in front of you and work your process, you’ll see yourself the way you should. How do you see yourself today?

You’re Amazing

Most of us think, “There’s nothing amazing about me.

Nothing wonderful. I’m just average. I’m just ordinary.” No, the fact is there is nothing at all ordinary about you! You have a fingerprint that nobody else has. There will never be another you. Even if you have a twin, they don’t have your same personality, your same goals, or your same fingerprints. You are an original. When God made you, He threw away the mold. When you say, “I am wonderful, I am attractive, I am vibrant, I am a Champion,” not only does strength, purpose and success start coming your way, but on the inside rises up. Your self-image begins to improve, and you start carrying yourself like you’re someone special. You no longer drag through the day feeling inferior. You have that spring in your step, that “go after it” attitude. Be the Champion you were designed to be today. Be the difference in someone’s life. Do you believe you are amazing?

Control What You Can Control

To be a Champion you have to know what you can control and know what you can’t.

First you can’t control other people or the weather, but we do seem to try. You control yourself, your attitude, your response to adversity. Stop trying to control other people. A person that is a Champion is not a manipulator. We don’t try to control the outcome as a Champion. You work the process and do your best all the time and the results will take care of themselves. When you stop trying to control outside factors then you free up your mind to focus on being relentless. One of the main reasons that people are not unstoppable is that they are trying to focus on too much. When they attempt to focus on stuff they can’t control it takes away from their mental edge. Remind yourself when things are going bad that ‘somethings I can control, somethings I cannot.’ You will be so much freer mentally when you learn this principle. Take control of your attitude and response to adversity and see your life go to the next level. Are you controlling what you can control today?
