Your Peace

An umpire calls the players safe or out. We have an internal umpire, so to speak, calling the plays and giving us direction.

Before you ever make a decision, you should stop and see if you have peace inside. If there’s unrest or an uneasy feeling inside, then don’t move forward. Let peace be your umpire. How many people get into a relationship that they didn’t have peace about and end up miserable? They buy things they didn’t have peace about. They end up in debt. They take a job they didn’t have peace about. They end up frustrated. Here’s the key: If you don’t have peace before you make the decision, you’re not going to have peace after you make the decision. If you don’t have peace about that person now, you’re not going to have peace if you get into relationship. If you don’t have peace about buying that new car, you’re not going to have peace when the payments come each month. Let peace in your heart be your umpire and settle any questions you have in your mind. Do you have peace today?

Focus

Don’t focus on your circumstances. Focus on the right beliefs that will help you build your success.

Are you ready to see something new in your life? The question is what have you been saying? Are you saying what you see in your circumstances? Are you talking your worries and frustrations to others, or are you declaring the truth over your life? The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means we set our future according to what we choose to say. If you need to see change in your circumstances, then start by changing your words. Don’t use your words to describe your situation; use your words to change your situation. Start declaring new things in order to start seeing new things! Speak blessing, speak peace, speak wholeness — declare the truth and watch your future change for the best. What are you speaking over your life today?

Great Things

I expect great things to happen today!

You get what you expect. I am believing that today will be the greatest day of my life and of yours. The truth is, it is up to you and me if it will be the greatest day or not. Make the choice right now that today and each day from now on will be the most awesome day ever. It’s not dependent on the circumstances or what you are facing that determines it. What makes today the greatest day ever is your perspective and attitude toward it. How you handle and deal with the adversity you face today. Don’t let others determine whether you have a great day or not. Never give another person that much control and power over your life. You have the mental toughness to be in charge of your outlook and perspective on your day. I encourage you today to expect great things to happen today. Make today the greatest ever! How do you approach each day?

Look to the Future

Don’t look at your challenges; look to the future.

The great Psalmist Steve Miller sang, time keeps on slippin slippin slippin into the future. This is how he says you fly like an eagle. So to be an eagle, a Champion, you have to focus on the future and not the challenges of life. When you focus on the circumstances, you will never move into you destiny. Your future will never become your present when you stay problem minded. Stay focused on your purpose. When you stay challenge minded you are stopped. By staying purpose minded, you stay unstoppable. There are few people that are purpose minded rather than problem and circumstance minded. That is a major factor in who is a Champion and who isn’t. Practice your mental focus on your strengths. Stay where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing. Are you purpose focused today?
