Your Mistakes

When you’re confident, you don’t care about what others think; you can take your mistakes seriously but still keep moving forward because you know its ok.

If you are trying, making attempts, making a difference then you are going to make mistakes. It is unavoidable. The only ones that aren’t making mistakes are those that are doing nothing. At the same time, doing nothing, is a mistake in itself. However, if you are unstoppable, then when you do make a mistake, you make it right and then move forward. You don’t beat yourself up and spend a week in a funk. A Champion has the unique ability not to take himself too seriously. They are serious about what they do, but know they can laugh at themselves when needed. There is a balance in being unstoppable and relentless. When you can shake off a mistake and keep doing what you do, then you are close to having balance. Many people never find the balance in their life that it takes to be a Champion. Are you able to move forward when you make a mistake?

“I Own This”

A Champion’s attitude can be summed up in three words: ‘I own this’.

When you’re a Champion you don’t back down from a challenge. You know that no matter what happens you will find a way to win. You have the confident, borderline cocky attitude of ‘I own this.’ An unstoppable person is very confident but humble at the same time. There is a fine line there, but you are willing to walk it. You have to know that you have what it takes to get the job done. Whether it’s athletics, business world, or school; you know that you are going to get it done. There is no question that when you get knocked down that you will be back up. You have a destiny to fulfill. Too many people don’t ever get started living their destiny. This makes it even more important for you to live out your purpose. If you’re down, get back up today. ‘You own this.’ We are in this together. Are you ready to be mentally tougher today than you were yesterday?

Being the Best

Champions don’t worry about hitting the ceiling or the floor. There is no ceiling. There is no floor.

When you are striving to be unstoppable you don’t think about a ceiling or a floor. A Champion focuses on getting better each day. You never focus on the destination, but rather the journey. You will know when you have arrived and then you keep going. Being a Champion at what you do is a lifestyle not a goal. There will be goals along the way, but they are not the end. Goals are only mile markers along the way. You keep moving even if it looks like you have bottomed out or you have hit the ceiling. Those only exist in the lives of those that desire to be average. I encourage you to keep up the fight to be the greatest. Never let up in your process. If you have questions about how to be your best let me know. We are in this together! Be great today! Are you ready to be your best today?

Let It All Hang Out

How do you recognize a person that is hurting on the inside? How do you know if the person sitting next to you right now is going through a really tough situation? Chances are if you around folk today that most of them are hurting in some way.  There is a chance, too, that it could be you.

It can be hard sometimes to know if someone is going through a valley type situation because we hide it so well.  We don’t want other to know that we don’t have it all together.  We try to keep it a secret and make others think that we are tough.  If we tell someone about our hurts, disappointments and fears then they may think less of us.  Trust me, when we tell them is not when they find out about it.  Most times those that know us already know when we are hurting and they too know fears.  Truthfully though, does it really matter if they didn’t know? What if we were to open ourselves up and expose our inner most parts? Is getting all the mess out worse than dealing with them and living with them every day? For me I thought it was better to keep it all in, but I have realized that it is much better to get it out.  It is true that you have to be careful who you open up to, but find that person. Talk to your spouse, your parents, a teacher, a coach, a pastor. Find that one person you can talk to and be safe.

Be Different

Instead of being afraid to be different, be afraid to be like everyone else.

Seems like everyone wants to fit in these days. However, as a Champion you have to dare to be different. A Champion is not like all the others. Champions stand out from the rest. You have to be willing to not conform to the norm or the average. Being relentless means being yourself. You can’t be anyone else, everyone else is taken. You have to do the work that the average aren’t going to do. This another reason that the extra mile is far less crowded than the start. Make up your mind today that you are different than the rest of the crowd. You are a Champion. Are you ready to be different today?

Confident in Your Process

Create your own process to succeed, don’t allow others to create it for you. Have the confidence to trust that you can handle anything.

Deep down you know what your purpose in life is. We all are to the difference in other people’s lives. We do that in different ways. You use your gift to be the difference. Therefore, you have to develop your own process. You have to be the one to create your process. You have to trust in your ability to handle everything that comes your way. Your process is what is going to get you to your destiny. Because your destiny and purpose are God-given; there is nothing that can come against you that you can’t overcome. You have to believe in yourself and your process. Know that God has a plan for you and nothing can stop it; but you. You have to know that you got this! Don’t let it concern you when you are different than others. You don’t want to be like everyone else. A Champion is different! Being unstoppable and relentless will cause you to be unique. Are you believing in your process today?

I Can Do It

When was the last time you said out loud “I can”?

It’s not something people think to do every day. In fact, most people tend to magnify their limitations. They focus on their shortcomings. In the Bible we read that all things are possible to those who believe. That’s right! It is possible to see your dreams fulfilled. It is possible to overcome that obstacle. It is possible to climb to new heights. It is possible to embrace your destiny. You may not know how it will all take place. You may not have a plan, but all you have to know is that if God said that you can…you can! Today, why don’t you begin to open yourself up to the possibility in your future by simply declaring this verse, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength?” At the stoplight, when you’re waiting in line, anytime you have a second, just quote this verse to yourself again. Let it sink down deeply into your heart. Let it be easier to believe you can rather than you can’t. It’s time to have a champion mentality. Yes you can!! Do you have a “I can” mentality?

Confident, Aggressive and Mentally Tough

When you are confident, aggressive, and mentally tough, you are locked into the moment and moving forward.

I see more and more people who’s insecurities are wearing them out and keeping them from being their best. However, there is a smaller but growing group of people I see. The group I am talking about is a group of people that are confident, aggressive and mentally tough. If you are going to be a champion in any area of life you must have these characteristics. There are other ingredients in the making of a champion, but these are three that you must have inside. Be confident in who you are and what you were created by God to do. Be aggressive, not running over people, but be aggressive in learning, growing, problem solving. Be the first to offer to help someone. Mental toughness is an absolute. It’s a no brainer. Those people that are mentally tough are able to overcome adversity. They are able to press through when life gets tough and unfair. Work on growing and maturing these three attributes in your life. When you do, you will see your life go to the next level. Are you confident, aggressive and mentally tough?

Being Confident

When God places a promise in your heart, you have to come to the place where you believe it’s going to happen so strongly that nothing can talk you out of it.

It may seem impossible. All the circumstances may tell you that it’s not going to happen, but deep down you have to have this confidence, this knowing, that God is still in charge. He is bigger than any obstacle. He already has a way, and at the exact time, what He promised will come to pass. You have this unshakeable confidence. You know that God is fighting your battles, arranging things in your favor, making a way even when you don’t see a way. Instead of being discouraged, you get up in the morning thanking God that the answer is on the way. Instead of talking about how big the problem is, you go through the day talking about how big your God is. Your mind is set in one direction: victory, favor, healing, restoration. It may be taking a long time, but God didn’t bring you this far to leave you. You’ve seen Him do it in the past, and you know He will do it again in the future. You are fully persuaded because when you know your God, you have unshakeable confidence. How is your confidence today?

Self-Confidence

The strongest people have a well established self-confidence.

God’s desire is that we continually progress, that we reach higher heights and go to new levels in Him. It seems like as soon as we make the decision to step out in our destiny, the enemy brings in fear to try to stop us. He’ll bring thoughts like, “What if you fail? What are other people going to think? You don’t have what it takes.” He’ll do his best to use fear to try to convince us to shrink back and stay where we are. This is a spirit of fear. It plays on our emotions and holds us back. But the good news is that we have power over the spirit of fear! The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear. When we receive God’s perfect love, we will have confidence about the future because we know His plans are for our good. I’ve heard it said that fear is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Understand that fear is a lie. Don’t buy the lie. Instead, choose to believe God’s Word and receive His love so that you can overcome fear and move forward into the blessings He has prepared for you. Do you have self-confidence today?
