Loyalty
Have you ever noticed that righteousness and loyalty go together?
In other words, if we’re not being loyal — to our family, friends, country, job — then we aren’t going to experience the best. Loyal people are honorable people. When you’re loyal, you stick with someone through thick and thin. When you’re loyal, you keep your word to people — even if you get a “better” offer. Loyal people are respectful of their country and leaders. Loyal people honor their parents and defend their family. When you’re loyal, you are a person of integrity. You build trust with others. Is this an area where you can rise higher? Are you faithful in the things you’re committed to? Can you be more loyal? Don’t let the distractions of everyday life keep you from being dedicated. Look for ways to show honor to those around you. Is there something you need to set aside for the sake of a loved one? Show love by staying loyal. When you are tested if you have been a loyal person, you won’t be questioned as severely. A person of integrity will be able to own their mess, because they aren’t perfect. Are you showing loyalty today?

Learning Process
No quality reveals a person’s true character more than integrity. It is the cornerstone of our life.
One thing I’ve learned is that just because God puts a dream in our hearts doesn’t mean it’s going to happen without any opposition. See, God is going to grow us up. He’s going to mature us. He’s going to prepare us to handle the destiny He has in store. I think about Joseph in the Bible. Starting out, he didn’t have a whole lot of wisdom. He was young and immature, and God had to do a work in his life. Joseph probably shouldn’t have told his brothers about his dream that they would one day serve him. Well his brothers were not nearly as excited about that as he was. Long story short, Joseph had to go through some things to grow up and be ready for the purpose and destiny God had for him. It’s the same way with us today. You may have a dream in your heart that seems a million miles away, but just like Joseph, God can take you from the prison to the palace in one step. During the growing process, keep yourself focused on Him and allow Him to do His work in your life. Keep a humble attitude of faith before Him, and He will lead you and guide you into the destiny He has prepared for you. Is your integrity keeping you on track today?

Integrity and Honesty
I believe there are a couple things that are basic to being a good person–integrity and honesty.
Integrity is a powerful attribute in the life of the of a successful person. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest. You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little things that mess you up. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity — even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s a test of integrity! Remember, if you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things. Be a person of integrity and open the door for God’s blessing. Are you a person of integrity and honesty?

Lead and Follow
Leaders are people who are willing to follow when it is called for. They are courageous and steadfast in their beliefs. They do what is necessary.
A true leader knows when they are not qualified to lead. When this is the case; they are willing to follow the ones that are qualified. A true leader is one that doesn’t always have to be out front. Many leaders lead from the middle. When their time to be out front comes however, they are more than ready and prepared. Leaders stick to truth, they know the real from the fake. A real leader will do what has to be done to accomplish the mission, in a win-win manner. When you see leaders that are only looking out for themselves, watch out because they will fall soon. Don’t get hit by a falling leader. Stay with the truth, stick with what is right, maintain your moral compass. Do whatever is required of you to maintain your integrity. A true leader will see the truth and go toward it. Just because someone is a true, real leader doesn’t make them perfect, no one has that quality. They do admit their mistakes and wrong choices and strive to make things right. A true leader will do what is necessary; even step aside and let someone else leader until their time has come. Are you willing to do what is necessary today? Am I willing to do what is necessary today?

Integrity Check
Personal growth means maintaining core integrity, even when it hurts. It means being who we should be, not just being where we want to be.
Integrity is a powerful attribute in your life. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest.
You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity – even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s not God’s provision, that’s a test of integrity! Remember, if you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things, God will make you ruler over much. Character Checkup
Character, integrity, relationships and responsibility are the pillars that allow your gift to shine. Without these your gift is not going to be lasting.
There is a familiar quote; ‘don’t let your gift take you where your character can’t keep you.’ I have been in this position before and it’s not a good place to be. You all have an awesome gift, but without character, integrity, relationships and being responsible, you are in danger of not being able to use your gift. It would be a shame for the rest of us not to be able to see you in your gifting because of character flaws. It happens all the time, but it doesn’t have to happen to you. Take the time to do a good check of your life. Be sure you are living with integrity. Look at your relationships. Are you spending time with people that are a positive influence? What are those closest to you pouring into your life? Also, are you taking the responsibility for your growth? Are you using your gift responsibly? All these will add up to either take you higher or pull you to the bottom. Do your life inventory today and be sure all is in line. Take your gift to the highest level. Live your destiny to the fullest! Is your character in check today?

Character and Integrity
Character will protect your talent. When you have integrity you will guard your talent.
Your talent will take you places where your character may not can keep you. This has been true in my life. I have the talent but at times in my past I didn’t have the character. Now my integrity protects my talent. Where my talent takes me my integrity will keep my character in check. No matter how talented you are, you have to have the integrity to guard it. Character does protect it, but guarding it takes it to another level. Integrity is the key to reaching your full destiny by using your talent. God has given you a specific talent to use, make sure you don’t waste that talent by not have good character and integrity. We see in pro sports all the time where great talented athletes don’t have the character or integrity to keep them on a high level. No one wants them on their team because they are not good for the chemistry of the team. You may never be making millions playing professional sports, but your character and integrity is just as important. Do you need to work on your character and integrity today?

Love for All
02 26 11 Saturday
If I wrote the best selling book of all time, had the most popular blog ever, and spoke to millions of folk at a time, but didn’t have love, it would all be for nothing. Love is the foundation, the support, and the covering for everything we do.
I am firm believer in that we should be the best “us” we can be. I adhere to self-discipline, inspiration, motivation and all that goes with it. I believe we all have greatness, significance, purpose, and destiny inside us. All of that said, without love it is all for nothing. Love is the key to everything we do. It matters not how great we become; if we don’t have love, we have become nothing. It doesn’t matter what we accomplish, if we do it without having love, then what do we have. For all that we do; love has to be the motive, the reason why we do it. All we ever get done will be thrown away if it isn’t done for the reason of love. I know that I really have to look at all I do. Am I doing stuff for the right reason; love. Not just loving what I do, but do I love those I do it for. Check your agenda and reason for what you say and do. The reason/agenda will be revealed in the end. Make sure you are on the side of love.
