Handling Adversity

It is not what happens to you, it is how you handle what happens. Your ability to respond is going to determine the outcome to adversity.

Some win, some lose. This is unfortunate. A better scenario is; some win, some learn. Rather than losing, how about learning? It’s not so much what happens to you, but how you respond to it. A person that loses is one that reacts by blaming others, finding fault, then quitting. Listen to me, you are going to have adversity okay. Probably every day if you are truly doing your best to be a champion and the best you that you can possibly be. Those that don’t want to work their process and be their best will not like you. They will do what they can to bring you down to their level of mediocrity. Do not give them your energy, your time, your attention. There are plenty of others, unfortunately, in the same boat as they are. So let them give each other all the attention they want and desire. As a champion you are in a small group, again unfortunately. Learn to let it go, what others say and do to you. It is not worth your time. Rise above the storm. Never again will you let what someone else says or does to you bring you down, or even slow you down. You have better things to do than deal with other’s insecurities about their lack of discipline and mental toughness. How are you dealing with adversity today?
