Good Enough

Good enough is never good enough.

A Champion doesn’t do just good enough. Many people today want to do just enough to get by. Fewer and fewer are willing to go the extra mile. It’s getting tougher to find someone to simply go the first mile. I want to encourage you to have a; ‘and then some,’ attitude. Use your gift/talent to take you to a higher and new level of life. There is nothing like the adventure of walking in your destiny every day. Don’t settle for getting by or good enough. Don’t take your life for granted. You are here for a reason, you do have a purpose in the world. There is a specific reason for your being here. I am excited about your future. You are going to make a difference in the world. You have what it takes to be a world changer. You ready to go the extra mile today?

No Floor No Ceiling

Champions don’t worry about hitting the ceiling or the floor. There is no ceiling. There is no floor.

When you are striving to be unstoppable you don’t think about a ceiling or a floor. A Champion focuses on getting better each day. You never focus on the destination, but rather the journey. You will know when you have arrived and then you keep going. Being a Champion at what you do is a lifestyle not a goal. There will be goals along the way, but they are not the end. Goals are only mile markers along the way. You keep moving even if it looks like you have bottomed out or you have hit the ceiling. Those only exist in the lives of those that desire to be average. I encourage you to keep up the fight to be the greatest. Never let up in your process. If you have questions about how to be your best let me know. We are in this together! Be great today! Are you ready to be your best today?

Showing Up

The ability to show up every day and do what no one else is willing to do, that comes from the Champion inside you.

Champions do what others only talk about. There are a lot of people today that want to, but are not willing to pay the price. That is what makes a Champion a Champion. I have never met anyone that didn’t want to be a Champion, but wouldn’t do the work. If you desire to bring out the Champion in you, then just be consistent in showing up each and every day. Then do the work that is required and do it with excellence. Someone who keeps showing up can’t be stopped. Being unstoppable isn’t easy, that’s why so few actually follow through. However, I encourage you to be relentless in your pursuit of being a Champion. You have what it takes. God created you to be a Champion, but it’s up to you to become a Champion. Nike has it right; ‘Just do it.’ Get going today. Get your process established and then work your plan. Are you ready to show up and get it done?

The Pay-Off

Champions don’t care about instant gratification; they invest in the long-term payoff.

Champions are in for the long haul. One play, one game, one season doesn’t make a you a Champion. The same goes for one business deal, one sale, one class doesn’t make you a Champion. You have to be unstoppable to be a Champion. You have to be relentless. You don’t stop after one day goes your way. You keep grinding it out, day after day, year after year. It doesn’t matter if you’re in sports, business, stay at home mom, or student you have to let be in for the long run. This is one reason today there are fewer Champions. People seem to want everything quick and easy. That’s not a Champion. Find your strength area, your gifted zone and be the best ever at what you do. Get better every day. Grow every day. Prepare your mind and body to be in this until the end. When you get to the top, then raise the top higher and keep climbing. You have what it takes to be the best, to be a Champion. Develop your mental toughness and discipline to stay in it for the duration. Are you ready to stay for the long-term payoff?

Handling It

Champions make the competition study them; they don’t care what they are facing, they know they can handle anything.

If you are a true Champion you don’t study the opposition; you make your opposition study you. You set the standard that everyone else is trying to reach. You know that no matter comes your way, you can handle it and be successful. You were created to be awesome and it’s time to go to the next level. There will be adversity that you will have to face. Don’t try to avoid it, but go through it. You own this! Be careful that you don’t settle for second best. It’s not easy being relentless and unstoppable. If it were then everyone would be. It’s not talent, but a choice. You have to be mentally tough enough to handle it. Don’t let another day go by without getting better. 2015 will be your best year ever and then you will do even better next year and the next. Are you ready to be able to handle anything?

Sense of Accomplishment

The satisfaction doesn’t come from the risk, but rather it comes from accomplishing the goal.

For a Champion, the thrill doesn’t come from the doing, but from the have done. There is a satisfaction that comes from having mastering the challenge. The accomplishing of your goal is what gives you the sense of satisfaction. The work itself is just the ways to a means. A Champion doesn’t get caught up in the emotions of the doing. The satisfaction is a result of having overcome the adversity of the challenge. From all we have talked about being a Champion, unstoppable, and relentless; you can tell it’s not easy. However, if it were easy everyone would do it. I want to encourage you to do what it takes in your area to be a Champion. It doesn’t matter what it is you’re destiny is, be a Champion. Are you loving the risk or the accomplishment today?
