Unload the Overload
Do you feel like you are overloaded today? Are you carrying too much emotion and mental baggage with you?
If so, then today is the day to release that overloaded feeling and let go to the emotional and baggage. When we are carrying around stuff inside that we should’t be carrying, we feel oppressed. This condition will not just get better. Those feelings will not just one day decide to leave you. We have to make the conscious decision to release all that stuff and never pick it back up again. You may say it’s easier said than done, which may be true. However, it is harder to live with that stuff in your life than it is to get rid of it. It’s actually easier getting it out than it is keeping it out. Those emotions and feelings will do their best to come back into your life. Take that first today and get out from under that load. Experience the freedom of being free from those heavy, oppressive feelings. Clear your mind and your heart now.

Doing Pushups
It’s easy to be someone’s friend when they’ve got it all together, when they’re walking in blessing and prosperity. Anybody can believe in people after they’re successful, after they graduate, after they’re promoted, after they get their big break. But, people need our support the most before they get their breakthrough. They need us to look past their faults and failures and see their potential.
Most times, people just need a little “push” of encouragement to keep them moving forward. We should always put ourselves in the other person’s shoes and see things from their perspective. You may have some good advice that could save them a lot of heartache and pain. Don’t keep it to yourself. Pick up the phone. Help them win. Maybe you excelled in a college course that they’re struggling in. Don’t sit back and think, “Too bad. They’ve got to learn it the hard way.” No, you are the hands and feet of Jesus. When you help others rise higher, you are fulfilling His mission. Today, share your love, support and encouragement. Invest life in others, see their potential, and together, you’ll rise higher into the blessing God has for you!

Take the Steps
I talk a lot about not giving up, being encouraged, that you have purpose and destiny.
It takes many attributes to be successful in life. To be successful is to significant. To be significant is to serve others. To serve others to have no agenda. To have no agenda is to be humble. To be humble is being a giver. To be a giver is to love others. To love others is to over look faults. To over look faults is to show mercy. To show mercy is to offer hope to others. To offer hope to others is give them a reason to keep trying. To give others a reason to keep trying our purpose. Our purpose is why we are here. We are here because God has a plan for us. God has a plan for us because He loves us. He loves us because He created us. Go out today and make a difference in someone’s life and see all these things take place.

Grace and Mercy
Showing grace and mercy through love and forgiveness will mess you up. You will never be the same. Its painful to the flesh but it is very refreshing.
It can be very difficult to give something to others, yet we desire it above all things. To forgive and love someone who has wronged us. We want to be forgiven and loved. We want to be shown mercy and grace, but at times we have trouble giving the same thing. Our flesh does not want to show mercy and grace. Our pride and ego will tell us not to forgive and love those that have wronged us. At the same time we want to be shown mercy, grace, forgiveness and love. The only way we will ever receive all this is to give them freely and completely. We don’t have the right to pick and choose who we forgive and love. We don’t have the option of loving and forgiving some but not others. Remember, the Bible says that we are to forgive others so that God can forgive us. Tall order but that also means that God gives us the grace and mercy to do so. Today, make it a point to forgive and love those that have hurt you. Show mercy and grace to everyone in your life without reservation.

Never Giving Up
There are days when you just want to stop trying, throw in the towel and give up. Nothing seems to be going right no matter how hard you try.
We have all heard and more than likely said, “It’s the darkest before the breaking of the dawn.” The time that most people give in is just before the day break of their breakthrough. Maybe I am the only one that feels like I am not going to make it. Maybe I am the only one that thinks, what’s the use. It’s not even that feeling of doing wrong, but even though I am doing the right thing, there seems to be no positive outcome. Maybe I am alone in this, maybe not. However, I have found that no matter what I feel, there is no giving up. I have seen circumstances and situations change in a second, over night. It may seem like the longest night of your life, but it will happen. You keep doing the right thing and never give up. God sees you and He has an awesome plan for you. Keep grinding it out and watch out; your day is coming soon.

Seed, Time, Harvest Blog/Podcast
It’s easy to be consumed by problems and difficulties in life and become self-minded and only think about our own situation.
When you’re in a time if need, it’s time to sow a seed. If you need happiness, make someone else happy. If you need help, help someone else. When you have a problem; help someone else’s problem. When you not only trust God but do good to others, that the seed God will use to bring a harvest in your own life. As you refresh others, God will refresh you. The world will tell you that you have to look out for yourself and keep everything you get. However, the Bible tells us that we live in a seed, time, harvest world. The way to be successful is to be a giver not a taker. The best things in life are only the best things in life when they are given away. Be a giver today, plant a seed and see what happens. God is a rewarder of those that do what His Word says do.

Moving From Believing to Expecting
Today make the change from believing to expecting. It’s good to believe for the best, but it’s great to expect the best.
We start out believing for something then you move into expecting. You will act differently when you are expecting the best, God’s favor in your life. When a couple goes from believing for a baby to expecting a baby they act different. Before the baby is ever born they start preparing the nursery. They begin to plan and buy things for the expectant baby. They act different in the expectant times than when in the believing stage. Today it’s time to go from believing for your destiny to expecting your destiny. There is a seed inside of you right now, the seed of destiny, that is just waiting for you to make the transition from believing to expecting. Expect the best, stretch yourself in your expecting. Today is your day to make the move from believing to expecting. It is a big and major step in your destiny. Unfortunately not everybody makes this transition. Many are called but few are chosen. Called is believing, chosen is expecting. You make the choice today.

Days Like This
Whatever you are facing today, never doubt in yourself. You have been given what it takes to overcome this test. Rest in the truth that; everything is going to be alright.
We all have those kinda days. Those days when it seems like everybody is against us and everything is going wrong. There is no getting around those situations. The thing to do is go through it. Don’t give up, don’t get discouraged, don’t quit, don’t get frustrated, don’t get angry. Sounds like a tall order to fill, but you can do it. You have to know that you are more than able. You have been filled with destiny and purpose. You have what it takes to overcome this situation. Don’t get down on yourself and start having a pity party. Have a victory party instead. This is your time to show the world what you are made of, it’s time to show yourself what you got. You got it going on, no doubt. Take this challenge and show you are better than anything that is thrown against you. Show the love of God, show patience, show forgiveness, show what having God and His plan operating in your life can do.

Keeping On
Are you facing a challenge today that seems overwhelming? Through faith and patience, you will see God’s promises happening in your life.
Understand that the enemy always fights the hardest when he knows you are closest to your breakthrough. He’d leave you alone if he thought you were going to live in mediocrity. If you keep pressing on toward your promise, through faith and patience, you will get there. Don’t look at the obstacles in your life. Lift up your eyes because you serve a supernatural God! Follow the example of Abraham who believed God even when his circumstances looked impossible. Remember, God always rewards the people who seek after Him. Stand in faith and keep believing because God will take you places that you never dreamed. Keep pressing toward the promise so you can live in the supernatural victory He has prepared for you!

Elvis in All of Us
You are talented and gifted. Don’t doubt yourself and what you are capable of doing with your life.
I was watching Elvis; That’s the Way It Is, the other night with my daughter. She is an Elvis fanatic, along with her daddy. While we were watching it, I got to thinking. What would I be like if I was talented and gifted in writing/speaking/coaching as Elvis was in singing? Then it shifted to; how do I know I am not as talented and gifted? All of our gifts/talents come from God. So who is to say that we are all as talented as some of the great people that have lived. We have to learn to operate in our gift/talent area. We have to grow, mature and learn how to be the person that God intends on us being. You have greatness inside of you, just as I do. We have to set aside our fear and doubts to set out in that area. What steps do you need to take to bring out your inner greatness? What will you do today to begin the process of living out your purpose in life? There is awesomeness residing within you and me.
