Frustration

When we don’t have success, we often get frustrated that affects our ability to do our best.

This is what we would call failing which, in some cases, leads to failure. You can fail and more than likely you will, at something and not be a failure. You are not a failure until you give up. For some when they fail at a job, relationship, a goal will become discouraged and frustration sets in. Anytime you are frustrated you will have difficulty in doing your best job. This is turn leads to more disappointment and frustration. Learn to look at not having success as not failure, but a temporary setback that is leading to a setup. Failing at something is not the end of all ends. You have simply discovered another way of not doing it. Be careful to guard your mind when it comes to dealing with success or the lack of. Beware of a failure mindset which will only rob you of your destiny. You are not a failure even when you fail. Stay in a positive state of mind. Avoid the frustration thoughts that will try to attach themselves to you. Stay encouraged today! Be the champion you were designed to be. Make a difference in someone’s life. Are you handling frustration and failure in a positive way?

Constructive Love

Love is what makes you a good father or son, mother or daughter, boss or employee. It’s bringing out the best in others.

“Love looks for a way to be constructive.” In other words, love looks for ways to improve someone else’s life. Love brings out the best in other people. Don’t just get up in the morning thinking about yourself or how you can make your own life better. Think about how you can make someone else’s life better. Ask yourself, “Who can I encourage today?” “Who can I build up?” You have something to offer those around you that no one else can give. Someone in your life needs your encouragement. Someone in your life needs to know that you believe in them. I believe God will hold us responsible for the people He’s put in our lives. He’s counting on us to bring out the best in our family and friends. Are you improving the lives of those around you? Are you pouring confidence in them? Why don’t you ask the Lord to give you creative ways to bring out the best in others? As you sow into the lives of others, God will send people along your path that will build you up so that you can embrace every blessing He has in store for you. What is your love doing for others today?

The Wizard of Oz

Courage is what makes you get off the canvas and fight; it is what pushes you to do your best at whatever you are committed to doing.

Courage is something we have all heard a lot about. My first lesson on courage came from the Wizard of Oz; you remember the cowardly lion. He desired to have courage when in fact he had courage all the time. He just didn’t realize it. You have courage. That is why you are still here. Courage is what has kept you going from day to day. Courage is what has busting it everyday to be the best you can be. Courage is what has enabled you to stand up to the criticism, the lies, the betrayal, the hurts, the pain, the abandonment. If it weren’t for your courage you would have checked out a long time ago. You do have the courage to get back again, again and again. You have the courage of a hundred lions. You got this! I salute your courage today! Are you using your courage today to do your best?

Championship Adversity

Adversity creates opportunity. Champions rise to the occasion.

With any opportunity there will be adversity. The greater the opportunity the greater the adversity. However, the adversity is match for the champion that you are. When you face down adversity and overcome it, you are one step closer to your destiny. Your purpose in life is to be the champion God created you to be. To be that champion you will be given opportunities in life. Those that back down from adversity will never see the fulfillment of their life. Don’t look at adversity as a bad thing anymore. Change your perspective to welcome the adversity as a challenge, as an opportunity for greatness. Rise up to meet the adversity and greet the opportunity. Be the champion you desire to be! Are you ready for some adversity today?

Adversity and Victory

There are “no victories in life without tremendous adversity.”

Anytime you are facing adversity or a tough situation, the first line of defense needs to be in your mind. If you allow fear to come in and take root in your thinking, it becomes a stronghold that affects every part of you. But when thoughts of fear come, you don’t have to “sign for the package,” so to speak. Instead of activating fear by meditating on it, believing it and speaking it, you can turn things around and use the truth. Instead of going through the day worried, thinking about how it’s not going to work out, start meditating and thinking on what God says. Activate the truth by speaking the Word of God. Let it sink down inside of you and transform your being. Always remember, His Word is alive, His Word is truth, His Word is your weapon. So take hold of His promises and find where it is written. Are you facing adversity today?

Finish

Whatever you do, finish it. Persevere through the doubts and failings.

Once you start working your process, walking out your destiny and purpose there are going to be ups and downs. There will be people telling you that you can’t do it, you will never make it, you don’t have what it takes. Get those thoughts and people out of your life. Move past the doubts, work through your failures. You have an assignment in life and you are expected to finish it. Many start but never complete their life mission. They allow difficulties, other’s opinions, and setbacks to stop them. Anybody can start, but it takes a strong person to finish. You are a finisher. You are a person of passion and purpose. You have what it takes to live your life full of purpose. Even when it looks like you are not moving forward in your life, don’t settle, don’t quit. There is no doubt and no failure big enough to stop you. You are a champion! Are you working on finishing your purpose in life?

Stay In

Don’t ever give up. Be persistent, be committed, be positive, and learn from every failing. Your perseverance will reward you someday.

Many people are sitting on the sidelines of life and not getting up because they have been injured. Maybe it was from a health issue, a divorce, a job lay off, or a failed class. God has promised He will give you victory for your pain. He will pay you double for the wrongs in your life. Keep pressing forward toward your destiny. I have often said; “I am hurt but I am here.” Don’t have a victim, poor ole me mentality. Instead of ‘why me’ turn it into ‘why not me.’ Take the pain, the hurts, the disappointments and allow them to forge you into a difference maker. Be a leader, a healer, a comforter for those that are hurting and injured by life. When circumstances look the worse you be at your best. Remember to breathe! Take life one day at a time, even one minute at a time if need be. You will win if you stay in the game. Don’t give up and never quit. Are you making a difference today?

Rejection

Those who rise to the top do not take rejection and look to blame others.

It has taken me a long time to learn to accept rejection and failure for what they are; just another step in the trail to my destiny.  Rejection is not a good feeling, but when you refuse to allow it to enter into your spirit then it can be a positive experience. When you can take rejection and rather than blaming others for your situation; you thank them for showing you who you really are in life. You learn from the experience of rejection failure. You turn what most would say is a terrible experience and feeling into a positive, character building moment. Never allow anyone to take away from you who you are. When someone rejects you, they simply don’t know what’s truly inside of you. They can’t see the greatness, the love, the compassion that resides in your heart. They have been hurt and hurting people will hurt people. Learn from the experiences in your life both the good and the bad. Then the good become better and bad aren’t so bad after all. Are you using rejection to become a better person?

Patience

Patience is a necessity for success.

I had a man tell me not long ago that his business was very, very slow. It looked like he would go under. He owned a small manufacturing company with one main competitor in town, a national company that was bigger with more resources. With the economy down, it made it harder and harder for him to stay open. This man was flexible about what he should do next, but he really believed he was in the business God wanted him to be in. So, he kept praying, believing and hoping; and instead of considering his circumstances, he considered his God. Just when he thought he was going to have to close down, his main competitor had a change in leadership and direction and decided to pull out of this market. Now he’s breaking all kinds of records. Today I want to encourage you. If there’s something coming against you, consider your God. He has a way to meet every one of your needs. You may not be able to beat the competition in the natural, but God can simply remove the competition. He wants to give you the advantage for success. Trust Him and believe because with God, all things are possible. Are you being patient today?

You have been given you all power and authority to overcome every obstacle you may face in life.

That means you are well able to do what you were created you to do. You can accomplish your goals. You have the ideas, the creativity and the talent to be successful. You have been armed with strength for every battle! God has already lined up the right people to come across your path; He’s already lined up the right opportunities. You have everything you need to live a victorious life. Not an average life, not a barely-get-by, mediocre life — you were created to excel. You have seeds of greatness on the inside. You may not have seen it in the past, but if you’ll stay in faith, it’s just a matter of time — victory is on the way. Don’t settle where you are. Rise up in strength today and begin to say to yourself, “I will accomplish my dreams. I can overcome any obstacle. I’ve been equipped and empowered to live in victory in every area of my life.” Are you making progress in your life?
