Minds Eye
What are you looking at today?
Not in the natural, but with your minds eye. In other words, what is in the forefront of your mind? Are you constantly thinking about your problems or things that have happened in your past? In the natural, you will move in the direction that your eyes are looking. Mentally it works the same way. Whatever you focus your mind on, you will move toward. That’s why you need to look straight ahead. If you are constantly thinking about your past, wondering “what if,” then you will stay right where you are. But if you choose to release the past through forgiveness, then you can focus on what is ahead of you. Forget the past, good and bad, and fix your gaze straight ahead so you can move forward into the life you were created for. Are you ready to move forward today?

Mentally Dominate
Now days everyone has talent. The difference maker then is; mental dominance.
The mental game is what will enable you to be the Champion you want to be. All the talent in the world will only get you so far and will only keep you for so long. Talent levels will start to decrease in time. However, the mental conditioning will make you stronger than your opponent. When others are falling by the side, you will continue going higher. Why do we neglect to train our minds? I encourage you today to begin a mental conditioning program. You will see results faster than you may even expect. There is such a demand today for excellence in every field, not just sports. Take your game, whatever it may be, to the next level. It is a must if you really want to be the Champion God created you to be. To be unstoppable you must have mental toughness. If you truly desire the highest level of your destiny and purpose; mental dominance has to be there. Are you mentally dominant today?

Knowing What To Give Up
Part of being a Champion is knowing what you have to give up to do the work.
To be the absolute best in what you do, you will have to give up something in another area. You won’t be a Champion in every area of your life, but there is an area that God has created you to be the best. There will be an area in your life that has to take a backseat to your talent area. The question is what area will that be. Stay focused in your strength area. This is to say that don’t try to be a unstoppable in every area. If you aren’t really good at something, then that’s okay. Stay on top in what you do. I have never been good in math, so I don’t try to get a lot better, because it’s not a strength of mine. I spend energy in the area that I am the best. Take inventory of what you are doing in life and see what you need to give up. What do you need to give up right now?

Long Term
Champions don’t care about instant gratification; they invest in the long-term payoff.
Champions are in for the long haul. One play, one game, one season doesn’t make a you a Champion. The same goes for one business deal, one sale, one class doesn’t make you a Champion. You have to be unstoppable to be a Champion. You have to be relentless. You don’t stop after one day goes your way. You keep grinding it out, day after day, year after year. It doesn’t matter if you’re in sports, business, stay at home mom, or student you have to let be in for the long run. This is one reason today there are fewer Champions. People seem to want everything quick and easy. That’s not a Champion. Find your strength area, your gifted zone and be the best ever at what you do. Get better every day. Grow every day. Prepare your mind and body to be in this until the end. When you get to the top, then raise the top higher and keep climbing. You have what it takes to be the best, to be a Champion. Develop your mental toughness and discipline to stay in it for the duration. Are you ready to stay for the long-term payoff?

Making a Decision
A Champion makes decisions not suggestions, you know the answer while everyone else is still asking questions.
Being a Champion you have to be decisive. To be decisive you must have the information you need to make the correct decision and to make it quickly. How do y you get the information? You prepare ahead of time. You read books that have information about the area you are in. You turn your iPod into a library of books. You listen to podcasts and books during your drive time, workout time, break time. You take the time to read the material that is current and up-to-date in your field. Make time to listen to people that have gone before you and are Champions in your sport, career area, or what you are interested in doing. We love to to entertained, but doing the work first. If you are going to be unstoppable, then you have to do the work that is necessary. You have to be able to make the decision on what to do before others. Be prepared, be a Champion! Are you able to make the right decision before everyone else?

Taking Responsibility
If you did it, own it. If you said it, stand by it. Not just the mistakes, but all your decisions and choices.
Taking responsibility for all your actions is a must for a Champion. Whether positive or negative own your stuff. We usually talk about taking responsibility for your actions in the negative aspect. However, I want to encourage you to take responsibility for the positive stuff that you do too. Stand by all that you do. By doing this you will be more careful in all that you say and do. We all have done and said things that we aren’t proud of and some we are proud of. The common denominator is that we are the one that did it or said it. As a Champion you have to be transparent. So be careful what you say, what you do, and where you go. People are watching you and listening to you. As a Champion you are in more of the spotlight than you may like. You may not be on the National News but if you’re not careful you just may be. When I see you on the news I want to see you lifting a Championship trophy. Are you responsible for your actions today?

Internal Pressure
A Champion’s internal pressure is getting on yourself for something no one else would even notice and challenge yourself to get it right.
An unstoppable person is one who notices the small things we didn’t do right and then making the corrections. Many people, those who have decided to be average, don’t even notice these things any longer. Being a Champion means you do take notice of the small things. I have heard that we are not supposed to sweat the small things. People who don’t take notice of the small things can be good, but they will never be unstoppable. Not unless they do correct the little things that aren’t right. Even some of the people who are great notice the small things that aren’t right, but they don’t take the time to correct them. Again, it’s the Champion that challenges himself to make the correction. You can see why there are not many Champions in the world today. You have to be willing to do what others won’t do. Then when you reach the top, you raise the top even higher. Are you correcting the small things in your life today?

Mistakes Made
When you’re confident, you don’t care about what others think; you can take your mistakes seriously but still keep moving forward because you know its ok.
If you are trying, making attempts, making a difference then you are going to make mistakes. It is unavoidable. The only ones that aren’t making mistakes are those that are doing nothing. At the same time, doing nothing, is a mistake in itself. However, if you are unstoppable, then when you do make a mistake, you make it right and then move forward. You don’t beat yourself up and spend a week in a funk. A Champion has the unique ability not to take himself too seriously. They are serious about what they do, but know they can laugh at themselves when needed. There is a balance in being unstoppable and relentless. When you can shake off a mistake and keep doing what you do, then you are close to having balance. Many people never find the balance in their life that it takes to be a Champion. Are you able to move forward when you make a mistake?

Your Comfort Zone
A Champion steps out of his comfort zone and challenges himself to get to the next level.
To be unstoppable you have to be relentless in doing what it takes. Far too many people lack the ‘whatever it takes’ attitude. Getting to the next level is one of the things that being a Champion is all about. You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Another reason that most people don’t go to Champion status. You will never know how high you can go if you don’t push yourself past your limits. We place limits on ourselves that are far lower than they should be. Today would be a great day to step out of your comfort zone to see how far you can go. To be live with full purpose this is a must. Don’t stop short of your true destiny, because you didn’t want to move past comfort. I don’t think you can be comfortable knowing that you aren’t doing all you can do. Take your life to the next level and see just how exciting it will be. Being a Champion is the adventure of a lifetime. Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone today and become a Champion?

Discomfort and Pressure
You can’t be relentless if you can’t take discomfort, and you can’t be unstoppable if you only deal with pressure when you have no choice.
Being a Champion is not easy. It takes hard work, dedication, and discipline. People that are Champions never try to just get by or find the easy way out. However, once you make being unstoppable and being relentless a lifestyle you will be surprised how much easier it does get. You will have days that you don’t want to go the extra mile. There will be times when things go wrong. These are the days when you face adversity and back it down. I see people, especially parents, that don’t want their kids to have to deal with any adversity. They want life to be all smooth and easy. This will only make their adulthood that much harder. I’m no parent expert, but I do know that we all have to handle adversity in life. How we handle being uncomfortable and deal with pressure will determine how far you go in life. Are you comfortable being uncomfortable?
