No Whining

There are a lot of average people walking around who have Champion buried inside them, but are not trained or willing to do the work needed.

Being average is a choice. You were created to be a Champion. You have the seeds of greatness inside you. However, you have to do the work to grow the seeds. It takes work to be a Champion. You have to do the work and the training to bring it out. It is hard work, takes sacrifice and discipline. Don’t take the easy way out. Do what you do to be great. It is truly disappointing knowing that so many people go their grave with never bringing out the relentless Champion out. It’s not too hard. You have what it takes. You can do this. There are people around you that will be there to help you. Then in time you will be able to help those around you too. Take the time to do the work to be unstoppable. No more excuses. No more whining. Are you doing the work to be a Champion today?

Control Issues

Did you know that when you allow someone else’s words or actions to upset you, you’re allowing them to control you?

When you say, “You make me so mad,” you’re really just admitting that their actions have power over you. As long as that person knows they can push your buttons, as long as you keep responding the same way, you are giving them exactly what they want. Sure, people have a right to say and do things that are upsetting, but we also have a right to not get offended. We have a right to overlook their actions. It’s an honor for a man to keep “aloof” from strife. In other words, we have to remove ourselves, either physically or emotionally, from strife and offense. It’s not easy, but we can choose to let it roll off of us like water off a duck’s back! Remember, you don’t need everyone to agree with you all the time. You don’t have to have the approval of others in order to be the best. Your job is to be the person God made you to be. Overlook offenses and let go of strife so you can live in peace and victory all the days of your life. Are you being controlled today?

Greatness

Champions don’t succeed because they are great.
They succeed because they bring out the greatness in others. Bill Russell, who played for the Boston Celtics, often said his goal was to make his teammates better. Bill Russell is a Champion. A Champion will demand the best from those around them. Being relentless you will not tolerate anything less than your best. When you bring out the greatness in those around you, you will win. Your mindset is about what is best for the team, not necessarily what is best for you. Sometimes what is best for all may not be so good for you, but as a Champion that is okay. You have the ability to be the difference in people’s lives. If you are going to be a Champion, make sure that you are others minded. Bring out the greatness in those around you and you will succeed in life. Are you bringing out the greatness?

Your Life

What are you letting happen in your life?

In other words, what are you focusing your words, energy and thoughts on? You might say, “Oh, it’s just so hard right now. My finances are tight.” “My health doesn’t look good.” “Somebody walked out on me.” No, you’re focusing on the wrong things. You’re letting defeat, discouragement and self-pity rise up. Why don’t you turn that around and say, “Somebody may have walked out on me, but I know I am going to meet somebody better.” “I may be hurting right now, but I know my healing is coming.” “I may have an unexpected debt, but I know I will be debt free soon.” It’s time to get up and get moving in the right direction today. There is no setback that can keep you down. You were created for this time and place. Do what you do! Be the difference in the world! What are you doing today?

The Process

The struggle, adversity, and victories are all part of the Champion’s process and we must embrace all of it.

I have never known a great person that has not been through some tough times. It’s not necessarily the adversity that makes you a Champion, the struggle exposes the greatness of a Champion. A Champion never tries to avoid the struggles and adverse situations. I have seen some that will embrace the tough times, but when success comes, they shrink away from it. Fear of success is not uncommon in many people. However as a Champion you have to embrace both the tough and good times. Be at your best at all times. Even your bad days can be good days when you learn from them. Be a learner all the time. Whatever the situation take what it is offering. A Champion must be aware what is the truth of the situation. Embrace the struggle, the adversity and the victories in life. Are you embracing them all?

Negative People

Love negative people because they make you positive.

When someone is negative I make it a point to find the positive. If they are talking about something negative I take the challenge to discover the positive side. Negative people drain the energy out of those they are around. Rather than letting the negativity drain you love them. Learn to appreciate them. They make you be even more positive. By their being negative it makes us want to be even that much more positive. It won’t always be easy or fun, but it is a refreshing way to deal with them. In time they may also see how you live and actually start to become more positive. Not everyone will but some just might. No matter what though, always find the positive side of every situation. Step back and have a positive perspective. Your life will be better and so will the lives of those you come into contact. Be the thermostat and not the thermometer. Set the standard for the room. Bring a positive environment to light. Are you loving negative people today?

Loving the Struggle

Love the struggle because it makes you appreciate your accomplishments.

I have never known a Champion that has not been through some tough times. We all face struggles in our life but only those that are unstoppable make it through. The average person gives up and quits when they are facing difficult situations. A Champion welcomes the struggle because it makes the rewards of winning that much sweeter. The average never get to experience the love of winning on a day-to-day basis. Find a way to overcome the struggle and move on the next struggle that’s coming your way. Be relentless in the middle of the tough days. Don’t ever give up. Be the Champion that you know you are. Are you loving the struggle?

Your Purpose

Our purpose is greater than our challenges.

I could not write anymore and enough would have been said. In your life you will face some serious challenges but know that your purpose is far greater. Always know that your purpose will be defined by your challenges. Many think that once they have discovered their purpose they won’t have challenges. Nothing could be farther from the truth. When you discover your purpose you will see an increase in your challenges. Welcome the challenges that come your way. Learn how to overcome them. You will gain in your destiny and purpose each time you come up against a challenge in life. To be a Champion you will have to know your purpose in higher than any challenge. No challenge that comes up against you will be able to stop you because you are unstoppable. A relentless person will attack the challenge until they have won. It’s time to get serious about your purpose. What is your purpose?

POF

Negative thoughts are the nails that build a prison of failure.

When you allow your mind to focus on the negative you will begin to fail at things that you used to succeed at. Never let your mind wander to the negative perspective. As a Champion you must focus on the positive side of the situation. This is especially true when it comes to thoughts about yourself. Always be positive in your self talk and thoughts. There are many people that have gotten so accustomed to negative thought patterns that they think that’s the norm. This is not true. No matter the situation there is a positive perspective. To be unstoppable you can’t be a negative thinker. You have to develop a positive mindset. Relentless competitors have the mental toughness to maintain a positive outlook at all times. Train your mind to stay in the positive thought pattern. You will see your failures turn into successes when you do. What is your thought pattern today?

Against All Odds

We all face situations where the odds are against us.

We don’t see how we could get well, how a relationship could be restored, how we could ever break an addiction. In our mind, it all seems impossible. It’s easy to just accept it and think, “This is my lot in life.” You may suffer a temporary setback, a disappointment or an unfair situation; but if you’ll keep moving forward, it won’t be permanent. What you’re facing may seem bigger, stronger and more powerful, but deep down, don’t be intimidated. Know that you have a Champion’s heart and mind. You have what it takes to be the difference maker in that situation. You are not a victim but rather a victor. You are stronger than you may realize. You have been created for this specific time and specific situation. Don’t ever back down or give up! Be unstoppable and relentless today! Take care of the situation and be a problem solver. Are you ready to face the situations in your life today?
