No Fear No Frustration

Don’t consult your fears, but your hopes and dreams. Don’t think about your frustrations, but your potential.
You have a choice today, to either look to your fears and frustrations to determine your life or your dreams, hope, and potential. You have more control of your life than you may think you do. Many people hand that control to others, but truth remains, they had to give the control away. When you look at your life, be sure that you are looking that positive factors. Look to your hope, investigate your dreams, and evaluate your potential. Your fears and frustrations will rob you of your purpose and steal your destiny. Make sure your hopes and dreams are built on a solid foundation. See the potential that is waiting in your gift. Everyone has a positive future, but it is up them each one of us to see that future through. Even when fear, and frustration tries to gain control of your mind, think on the truth. Be the person that you were created to be. Begin to make those changes today. Get your hopes up, give life to your dreams again, see the power in your potential. Changing Mindsets

Circumstances don’t determine your value, your worth. If you think you’re not good enough, your world will confirm that in your mind.

I have often said, “You are more than good enough.” However, if you look at your situation, listen to what the world is saying, or what you sometimes feel about yourself, then you will believe the lie. The lie being, ‘you are not good enough.’ There are many voices today that will try to convince you that you will never amount to anything, that you are a failure, a mistake, a waste of time. This is a lie, yet if not careful, you will believe it. When we are in a situation when things are not going right, we start to slip back into those negative mindsets. Reverse the negative thoughts, you are more than good enough, you have what it takes, you are valuable, you are cared about, you are a winner. Don’t let the circumstances determine your value or worth. Know the truth about yourself. Even if its hard to believe, the truth will begin you out of that negative mindset. Be a champion today! I know people who feel like they’ve wasted years of their lives because of poor choices. They spent years in a relationship that was toxic, years with an addiction, years at a job where they were miserable. You have to realize, nothing you have been through is ever wasted. Your past experiences, good and bad have deposited something on the inside of you. Those challenges have sharpened you to help make you who you are today. When the enemy brings adversity into your life, God has a way of taking that experience and turning it around for your advantage. You may think you’ve hit a dead end, but if you’ll stay in faith, you will see God begin to open up a new route. He’ll put the right people in your path, the right opportunities, the right circumstances to move you forward toward your God-given destiny. Today, don’t focus on what’s happened in your past, focus on what God will do in your future. He wants to restore your soul and revive your dreams. Keep believing, keep expecting, keep hoping because God has a new route for your future. Is your past keeping you from seeing your future?

XL Living

Living large means having a life that is full of meaning and purpose. I want Extra Large living!!!

One thing I’ve noticed is that so many people are walking around who aren’t really living to the full the way God intends. Do you ever notice that many people quit living around thirty, but yet they are still alive until after they’re eighty? Maybe they went through a disappointment or had a failure. Someone hurt them, and now they’ve lost their joy and settled where they are. No, God has another victory in store! You wouldn’t be breathing unless God had something amazing in your future. It’s time to get your passion back and be determined to really live out all of your life. God wants to bring you to a flourishing finish, not a fizzled-out finish. Don’t let disappointment or self-pity hold you back. God has promised that what was meant for your harm He will turn around and use for your good. Not only will He bring you out, but He will bring you out better off than you were before. Receive it by faith today and press forward into the abundant, fulfilled life He has in store for you. No Comparing

More can be gained by focusing on those talents and gifts you know God has given you. Focus on what you have, don’t compare yourself to others.

Are you comfortable in your own skin? In other words, do you recognize yourself as the treasure God made you; or are you constantly looking for approval and comparing yourself to a neighbor, co-worker or friend? Do you try to out-dress them or out-perform them? Are you always looking for ways to one-up them? It’s time to let all of that go. Comparison is a distraction. Comparison is a thief. It steals your time, energy, focus and joy. You aren’t here to impress anybody; you don’t have to prove anything because you are God’s special workmanship. He created you with a purpose for a purpose. You are empowered and equipped to do everything He’s called you to do. If you will choose to stay free from a spirit of competition and just run your own race, not only will you enjoy your life more, but you’ll see your gifts and talents come out to the full. You’ll see His blessing and favor in a greater way, and you’ll move forward into the life of victory He has in store. What are you focusing on today?

Hope Lives

If you lose hope, you will not be looking for solutions and will miss them even if they pass right in front of you.

There can nothing worse than a person who has lost hope. The next thing they lose is life. Death will is the next step for someone that has lost their hope. When you lose hope you give up. When you give up you naturally stop looking for solutions to situations you are facing. In particular, the situation that has caused you to lose hope. You may be facing something today that has been stealing your hope little by little. Don’t give up on hope. No matter what it looks like right now, hope is your lifeline. Stay with hope. Keep a tight grip on hope. It doesn’t matter if there doesn’t look like there is any hope. Hope is there, even when it looks like all is gone. Just because everyone may have left and turned their back on you, hope is still alive. If you have lost your hope today, then revive it. Keep your hope back. Believe in hope. Believe that your situation will improve. If not the situation, then believe you will improve. In any case, don’t lose hope. Be strong today. You are not alone. Opportunity of Your LIfe

When your special, once in a lifetime moment comes, be ready. What a tragedy if it finds you unprepared or unqualified for your finest hour.

The opportunity of a lifetime must be grasp during the lifetime of the opportunity. You are going to have moments in your life that are special. Be sure that you are ready, that you are prepared to make the most of that time.  God has a plan for you and everyone else. There are times He has scheduled for you. However, He will not force you to be at the right place at the right time doing the right thing the right way for the right reason. Only you can make sure of all that. He has done His part, it is time for you to do your part. Be sure you are working your process. Make sure you are doing your very best at being your best. Many people are not where they are supposed to be today. They stopped working their process. They have given up. It is a tragedy when their time comes and they are not ready. They miss their opportunity of their lifetime because they gave up yesterday.  If you aren’t doing your best today, then get started again. Be prepared and qualified for your moment. It’s not too late. Start today! Are you prepared for your once in a lifetime moment?

Something Great

We all have those special moments when we are tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do something great.

Your day is coming. I want to remind you that you are full of incredible potential. When God created you, He deposited seeds of greatness inside of you. He’s given you your own dreams and desires. You have something to offer that no one else has. But too often, we allow adversities, disappointments and setbacks to push these things down, until one day, we find that we’re not pressing forward anymore. We’re not stretching; we’re not believing to rise any higher. When adversity comes, it’s easy to think, “Why is this happening to me?” The answer is because the enemy knows what’s on the inside of you. He’s going to do everything he can to keep that seed from taking root. But, he will only be successful if you let him. He can’t stop you unless you quit. During the difficult times, remember that the gifts and callings God has placed within you are still there. Don’t become stagnate in pursuing your dreams. It’s time to get your fire back! It’s time to press forward. It’s time to dig deep inside and take hold of the marvelous destiny God has prepared for you. Are you prepared for something great to take place in your life?

Opportunity to be Different

Just notice your options throughout the day and choose forgiveness, kindness, & selflessness. Then give it no matter what comes back.

You will have many opportunities to get offended each day. You will be given many chances to take advantage of others to get your way. However, it’s time to make a difference. It’s your day to be different. When these opportunities come your way, you will do the right thing. You will give forgiveness to those that cut you off, get what you think you have earned.  You will be kind and be a giver. You will not be selfish and try to get from others, but you will serve others. Realize that because you do the right thing doesn’t mean that everyone will do the right thing to you. That is the being different part. Do make a difference will require you to be different. As you go through your day and opportunities come your way, give forgiveness, kindness and be unselfish with it. You may find it difficult at first, but in time it will become easier. Who are you thinking about right now that you need to forgive, be kind to; even though you may not get anything in return?

In life, we all have unfair things that happen to us. We can choose to hold on to the hurt, become bitter and angry, and let it poison our future; or, we can choose to let it go and trust God to make it up to us. You not think that you are able to forgive because someone hurt you so badly. You might say, “Scott, you don’t know how I was raised.” “My ex-spouse caused me a lot of pain.” “This friend betrayed me.” “I just can’t let it go.” But realize, you don’t forgive for their sake; you forgive for your own sake. When you forgive, you are taking away their power to hurt you. But if you hold on to that offense and stay angry, you are only poisoning your own life and disconnecting yourself from God. Forgiveness is like a door on your heart. If you shut the door and refuse to forgive, then God cannot forgive you. But when you open the door and allow forgiveness to flow from you, then His forgiveness can flow into you. Choose to forgive and open the door to receive God’s life, peace and healing today. Are you ready to forgive today?
