New Doors

No matter what comes your way, you have to believe you will see God’s goodness again. You must believe you will see God turn it around. Believe you will see God open up new doors.

There are times when we are doing the right thing and it still seems to fall apart.  There are days when we are at our best and yet the worse still happens.  These are the days that we have to know that God still has our back.  Don’t lose hope and doubt; know that God will turn it around for you.  He will either remove you from the situation or give you the strength to go through it.  There is something awesome about not just surviving a tough time, but thriving during a tough season.  We grow when we go through these times.  Remember, Jesus was a carpenter who better to build a new door for you to walk through.  God has your best interests in mind at all times.  Your best days are still ahead, right around the corner.  Be looking for that new door.  Then step through it; your destiny awaits!

Valley Time

Looking from the top of the mountain I have climbed I see the top of the next mountain I have to climb. I also see the valley I have to go through, but going through the valley can be a good thing, it doesn’t have to be an avalanche.

We all are going to go through tough times and good times.  When we are on the top of the mountain checking out the view; we can look over to the other mountain top that we are going to be at later. However, before we get to the next mountain top we have to go through the valley.  The valley is a time of growing and maturing.  For some the valley times are a result of an avalanche.  It doesn’t have to be this way.  We can make a decision to actually enjoy our time in the valley.  We can have peace in our valley.  Understand we are going to the valley no matter what, so take the time to learn and grow during this time.  Before you know it; you will be on the next mountain top.  Remember, the lilies grow in the valley. Let’s go!

Giving Thanks

If it had not been for the goodness of God, where would you be? Some wouldn’t be alive today. Some would still be addicted. If it had not been for God’s favor some would still be struggling, barely making it. You may say, “Well, I’ve got a long way to go.” And that may be true, but I want you to take a moment and look back over your life and realize how far you’ve come. The same God that brought you this far, the same God that has kept you alive is going to carry you through any difficulty you may be facing. The key is to just start praising and thanking Him for His goodness. Thank Him for His favor and blessing upon you. Praise precedes the victory. Praise brings the walls of opposition down. Praise is the invitation for God to intervene on your behalf!

Today, I declare that the goodness of God is all over you! He is directing your steps, and you are following His leading. I declare that your best days are ahead, and as you praise Him and thank Him, you will move forward into the victory and blessing He has prepared for you!

Big Bold Dreams

When you look out into your future, what do you see? What are the dreams and desires that you hold close to your heart?

So many people start with bold dreams, but then opposition comes. Life doesn’t turn out the way they planned. They lose a loved one or encounter difficulty they didn’t anticipate. Today, if that’s you, I want to remind you that the Creator of the universe designed you with specific gifts and talents that no one else has. He has you on this planet for a specific purpose. When you commit your life to Him, He promises to be with you wherever you go. Even though some things in life may have caught you by surprise, they didn’t catch God by surprise. His good plan for your life remains. You can trust Him because He loves you with an everlasting love, and He doesn’t want to see you settling for anything less than His very best. I want to encourage you to be bold, be strong and be courageous. Put aside the past and lift up your eyes to Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. Live boldly and dream boldly so you can embrace the good things He has in store for you!

Increasing You

We don’t have a small minded God.  His plan for your life is not to reach a level and get stuck and stay there for years and years.  God’s plan for you is to increase you, to open new doors, to take places that you never imagined.

The Bible is all about increase.  To see God increase your life just believe in His Word. Know the truth about what He says about you.  He says, we are to stretch our faith, enlarge your mind, and get ready for what He has in store for you.  When was the last time you asked God for more peace, more faith, more influence to encourage others? Are you asking? Are you believing? Dare to ask God to place His desires in your heart.  Get ready for the big things God has prepared you for and has prepared for you.  God has something big in mind for you! Allow Him to work in your life and live your destiny to the fullest!

Walk It Out

Learning to walk in the destiny God has for you is a process. The first step is to get a vision, a clear picture from God that you can see. The next step is to trust Him — to believe in faith that it will happen. Then finally, you take a step of faith and live out what God has promised no matter what your circumstances or people around you have to say.

First you dream it, than you believe it, and then you live it. Today, if you are having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, understand that you are in a process. Don’t empower doubt with your words. Instead, keep declaring that He who promised is faithful! Keep the vision in front of you knowing that it is for an appointed time. Dream it and believe it because it won’t be long until you are living the blessed life God has prepared for you!

All Your LIfe

You are designed for greatness! Your enemy has tried to take you out all your life, but God! Realize and live your destiny today. Don’t ever give up! You are a winner!

All through your family history the enemy knew you were coming and has done all he could to stop you from being born.  There have been all sorts of things happen in your family that were supposed to stop you from being here today.  The fact you are reading this means he failed.  Since you have been born there have been attacks against you.  Your mind and your body have been hit from all sides; trying to get you to give up and quit.  The fact you are reading this today shows you haven’t given up.  You were designed for greatness. You have an awesome purpose and destiny in store for you.  Don’t look at where you are right now, but look where you are heading.  Where is your destiny taking you? Get your mind set on the truth not the facts.  Line your self up with the destiny and purpose God has created you to accomplish.  A lot of people have gone through a lot of stuff, you included, to see to it that you are here today. Don’t let them or yourself down. Don’t give up, don’t even think about it. Today is your day of greatness.  Your best, greatest and most awesome days are just ahead.

Hope Dealer

There are people that just need something good to happen in their life, they need hope, encouragement, a good break. They are hurting, in pain, wondering what will happen now. Be the dealer of hope to them today! Something great is going to happen in your life today; expect it!

There is someone you are thinking about right now that needs a pat on the back, because they have had a knife in their back.  There is someone you pass by everyday that needs some encouragement.  We don’t have to go very far at all to find people that are hurting.  It may be you today.  Know that today is going to be different from yesterday. Not the same oh same oh that you are used to getting.  Expect something great is going to happen to you today.  At the same time, those you are around need that same hope for their life.  Be the difference today in someone’s life.  Be a dealer of hope.  Be the encouragement that gets them over the hump and on to better days.  Despite what the government says, the news says, and even most churches; your best days are yet to come.  If we have hope then we are set and ready.  Know it, believe it, speak it, expect it and receive it today!

Not Too Late

At times, it’s easy to look at your circumstances and think, “I’ve missed my opportunity. I’m too old. It’s too late. I’ve messed up too much.” But with God, there’s always another opportunity. He created you on purpose and for a purpose. He’s the one who placed those dreams and desires on the inside of you. He hasn’t given up on those dreams, and you shouldn’t either! It’s never too late for God, which means it’s never too late for you!

I don’t know about you, but I have never heard of a single story where God gave someone a dream and fulfilled it on the same day. No, our lives are designed with seasons and processes to build our faith and prepare us for the next step. It takes faith, it takes obedience, and it takes patience to see God’s promises come to pass. No matter where you are in your journey of faith, just focus on moving forward. God hasn’t given up on you! Trust that He has you in the right place at the right time. Trust that He is working all things together for your good. Trust that new doors are opening. Choose faith and patience, and you will inherit His promises because it’s never too late for you to embrace the good things God has in store for you!

Pass the Past

To move forward in life, we have to “let go of the past.” But have you ever wondered exactly how to do that? First, understand that we take hold of things in our minds with our thoughts. Our thoughts become words and actions that determine the direction of our lives. It’s that simple. If you want to choose a new direction for your life, you have to choose new thoughts. If you want to let go of the past, you have to quit thinking about it, quit talking about it, and quit reliving every negative experience.

When we see someone who has hurt us, that pain and offense is stirred up, and we start thinking about what happened again. But in that moment, you have a choice to make. One of the best things you can do, instead of rehearsing the hurt, is to pray for that person and speak blessing over them. Remember, forgiveness is for you. Letting go of bitterness is for you. Don’t let the past hold you back from what God has in store for your future any longer. Get past the past by choosing right thoughts because God has victory and blessing in store for your future!
