Double Up

Are you going through a difficult time today? Let this word bring you encouragement. We have a God who goes above and beyond our expectations. He wants to give you double for your trouble. He wants to bring you restoration and make things even better than before.

If you are facing challenges today or going through a time of adversity, remember, it’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. Your days are destined to shine brighter because God is faithful. As you stay in faith and are obedient to His Word, you’ll receive double for your trouble and see God go above and beyond in every area of your life!

Encouragement and Hope

We all have faced dark times in our life when we didn’t see anyway out. 
It was then that someone stepped into our world and made a positive
difference.  They offered us hope and encouragement. 
There will be times when we are the one offering encouragement and
hope.  There will also be times when we are the one that needs
encouragement and hope.  Be on the lookout for those that are in need. 
At the same time, if you are the one in need today. Know that there is
hope for you, take courage in knowing that you are not by yourself and
that you are cared about by many.  We all are here for one another.  We
must keep our relationships open, clean, pure and honest.  Look today
for someone to encourage; especially if you are in need of
encouragement.  When you give hope; hope will come back to you.

Making Changes

Sometimes in order to embrace the destiny God has in store, you have to be willing to make some difficult changes in your life. You have to be willing to examine where you are and what you need to do in order to move forward. This may mean that you need to change some friends you’re spending time with. Maybe they were fine for a season in your life, but you’ve outgrown them. This is a new season, and in order for you to rise higher, you have to break away from relationships that are limiting you. You have to develop some new friendships with people who are going to pull you up and inspire you to rise higher.

I’ve found that if you’re the smartest one in your group, your group is too small. Find people who are smarter than you, people who will challenge you to stretch to the next level. Remember, he who walks with the wise becomes wise. Choose your friends wisely so that you can rise higher and walk in the destiny God has for you.

A Better Place

I wanted to remind you today of how awesome you really are.  You really do make a difference in the world.  This place is a better place because you are here.

You may ask, “how am I awesome” or “why is the world better because of me.” Those are good questions to ask. You are awesome because of the gift that you have inside you.  The world is a better place because you choose to use that gift.  Just because things may not look so great today; you still have to know that you are awesome and it is better that you are here.  Keep on moving toward your destiny and you will start to see changes in your life.  We have to put up with the stuff life throws at us but it will get better.  You can do this!

Day for Victory

There is a place of victory in store for you today! You may be facing challenges. You may look around you and see impossible circumstances. In the natural, it may look like things won’t ever change. But God is saying today, “Quit looking at your circumstances and look up! Lift up your eyes of faith and look beyond where you are because there is victory as far as the eye can see!

Remember, those things you are facing today are only temporary, but God is eternal. He’s the God who spoke the world into existence, and He’s the God who set the stars in space. He is more powerful than every obstacle, bigger than any setback, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond what you could ever imagine. Today, look beyond your circumstances and set your focus in the right direction. Lift up your eyes and look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith!

Mental Freedom

Are there days when you get something on your mind and just can’t shake it? I do and it drives me up the wall; can’t stand that feeling.  Whatever it is on my mind is usually something that is crazy, but still it is tough to get it out.

Your mind can work for you or against you.  The truth is, it is all up to us which way that goes.  So many of us have gotten so tangled up in mental stuff that it’s hard to distinguish between the truth and what is not the truth.  Even facts can be wrong at times.  It is very important to keep the truth in your mind. Even if the truth does hurt; at least it is the truth.  That is better than something that is not true hurting us.  Keep your mind fresh, clean, pure, and full of the truth.  Get untangled from the mess that has gotten in your mind today. Be free of the tangled, twisted stuff in your mind. Today is a great day to be mentally free.

Focus on Hope

So many people today get down and discouraged because they only focus on their present circumstances. They’re constantly dwelling on their problems, what they don’t have, and what’s wrong with them. They don’t realize it, but they’re allowing the enemy to steal their hope. This negative frame of mind is what keeps people from moving forward in life.

Understand today that faith is confidence and assurance about the things we hope for according to the promises of God. Like an arrow, your faith points to the target of hope. If you don’t have hope, that arrow of faith has nothing to aim for. It won’t accomplish anything. But when you keep your hopes up, when you keep expecting and believing, it’s like making that target larger and larger and easier to hit! Choose today to live with an attitude of expectancy. Don’t focus on your circumstances; focus on your God! Get your hopes up! Take captive every negative thought. As you focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, you’ll feel that hope inside of you growing. Give your faith a target and move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams!

No Doubt

Release all doubt in yourself. You have a gift that was put in you before you were born. You are more than able, because of your Creator. 

There are times when we doubt our ability, our gift, our usefulness in life.  When those times come, don’t let them stay.  Know today, that you have awesomeness inside you.  You were created with a purpose and that has not changed.  No matter what you are hearing or feeling; you are useful, you are needed, you do have reason for being here today.  When you feel down and out about yourself; take note that it is not the truth.  Your past doesn’t disqualify you from life.  It actually qualifies you.  Make a difference today and evict those depressed feelings today!

Investments

Today everyone is talking about investments.  We are encouraged to make financial investments for our future.  There is another investment we need to make.

We need to invest into other people’s lives.  There is not greater investment than making a relationship investment into someone’s life.  We can get caught up in our own stuff and sometimes forget about investing into others.  If our agenda is to take care of ourselves at all cost; then it will cost us everything.  This is no greater investment than taking time to see that someone else is encouraged.  Trust me; there are folk right beside you now that really need you.  We all are in this together, so let’s live like it.  Take a minute and encourage, forgive, inspire those around you.  It only takes a moment to offer a word of encouragement to someone. 

Let’s start today making investments of the greatest return.
