In Due Time

In life, sometimes we are waiting for something; waiting for a dream to come to happen, waiting to meet the right person, waiting for a problem to turn around.

When things aren’t happening as fast as we would like, it’s easy to get frustrated. But you have to realize that the moment you prayed, God established a set time to bring the promise to pass. God has a set time for your opportunity. There is a set time for that problem to turn around, a set time for your healing, your promotion, your breakthrough. It may be tomorrow, or next week, or five years from now. But when you understand the time has already been set, it takes all the pressure off. You won’t live worried, wondering when this is ever going to happen. You’ll relax and enjoy your life knowing that the promise has already been scheduled and your answer is on the way! Are you okay in knowing it will happen?

Freshen Up Your Life

Do you need some freshness in your life today?

You may simply need to stir up what God has placed on the inside of you. Stir up those gifts, stir up those dreams, stir up those talents inside. Start stretching yourself. You were created to be a dreamer and to pursue the desires God has placed in your heart. The Bible tells us that without vision, people perish. If you don’t have a dream or vision for your life, you’re not really going to reach your fullest potential. Maybe at one time you had a dream, but you went through some disappointments or setbacks. Things didn’t turn out the way you planned. But here’s a key: when one dream dies, dream another dream. Just because it didn’t work out the way you had it planned doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have another plan. You cannot allow one disappointment or even a series of disappointments to convince you that your dream is over. It’s time to dig your heals in and hold on to the promises in your heart. Stir up those God-given dreams today and watch your life go to a higher level. Are you ready to freshen up your life today?

Excelling

Can you remember the time when you first discovered a big dream in your heart?

Maybe you were determined to excel in your career, excel as a parent, or even excel in your sport. You probably started out strong, but maybe things got a little difficult and didn’t happen as quickly as you would have liked. At that point many people decide, “Let’s just settle here. It’s not exactly what we wanted, but at least, it’s good enough.” I want to remind you today that you were made for more than good enough! Maybe things haven’t worked out the way you planned, but now is not the time to stop and settle. Now is the time to dig your heals in and begin again. And even if that dream has died — it’s time to dream another dream. God has so much for you in your future. If you’ve settled in any area of your life, take that first step by getting back up and moving forward. You may be down for a season, but it’s time to get back in the game. Each of us needs all of us. Take the time to renew your strength. Are you ready to get back up again?

Get in the Game

Is there a desire that you placed on the shelf, so to speak?

Have you been sitting on the sidelines of your dream, celebrating everybody else’s victories, content to see the promises become reality in their lives? It’s good to celebrate with others, but God wants to do something amazing in your life, too. He wants you to be celebrated. You don’t have to sit on the sidelines watching everyone else. You have treasure inside of you. Think about the promises that have been spoken over you; dreams that you have had since a child. It’s not too late. You’re not too old. It may look impossible, but our God can do the impossible. When you believe, favor is released. When you believe, hidden treasure comes out of you. Don’t waste another day sitting on the sidelines of life. It’s time to get back in the game. It’s time to run your race. It’s time to press forward into the promises that God has in store for you. Are you ready to get in the game?

Great Dreams

Have you ever known someone who had an exciting dream to do something great but did nothing to make it happen?

It’s so important to act on the dreams that God has given you. You can take ownership of your dreams by planning and preparing for them. Remember, success is not accidental. Where do you see yourself in your career, finances or relationships? Put some action behind what you’re believing for. Maybe you don’t see how it can happen in your life. The good news is you don’t have to have it all figured out. Believe in your dreams today. I encourage you to write down your short and long-range goals. Keep them in front of you so you will stay focused. When you make a move, God will direct your steps. He’ll make sure you come across the right people, at the right time. God will give you wisdom and insight as you take steps to bring your dreams to pass. Do you have an exciting dream about your life?

Desires and Dreams

We all have dreams and desires in our heart.

However most times, there’s a season of waiting involved. Maybe you’re waiting for a relationship to improve; waiting to get married; waiting for the right job, or waiting to overcome an illness. Much of life is spent waiting. But there’s a right way to wait and a wrong way to wait. Too often, when things don’t happen on our timetable, we get down and discouraged or anxious and fretful. That’s because we’re not waiting the right way. The fact is that we’re all going to wait. We’re not supposed to sit around and be discouraged; we’re supposed to be hopeful, positive and full of expectancy! No matter what you are waiting for, expect things to change in your favor. Today could be the day that it all turns around. As you wait with patience and expectancy, you’ll open the door for all possibilities. Be encouraged today to see your dreams and desires start happening right before your eyes. Are you ready to start believing today?

Dreams and Desires

What are the dreams and desires that you have for your future?

Maybe you had some big dreams in the past, but things didn’t go the way you planned. So you put them aside and settled for status quo. We’ve all had disappointments and setbacks, but today is a new day, and we serve a God who makes all things new. Let me challenge you to dig deep and dare to have a big dream for your life. When one dream dies, dream another dream. Don’t just settle for mediocrity, we serve a God who is above and beyond anything we can think of, and He wants to show His greatness through you. Remember, there’s nothing you can dream that God can’t do. Why don’t you ask Him to bring you the right people, the right opportunities, and the right resources? Trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Dare to believe and dare to dream another dream because He desires to do big things in and through you in this New Year. Are you dreaming big dreams?

Treasure Hunter

Recently, there was an article that told how the wealthiest places on earth are not the oil fields of the Middle East nor the diamond mines of South Africa.

The wealthiest places are the cemeteries. Buried in the ground are businesses that were never formed, songs that were never sung, books that were never written, potential that was never realized, and dreams that never happened. Don’t let that be you! Don’t go to your grave with your treasure still in you. Keep growing. Keep learning. Step out in faith and trust God. Bring out the good treasure that God has placed inside you. Let’s go into 2014 as treasure hunters. Find the treasure inside of you and bring it out. Are you a treasure hunter?

Fight On

We all have obstacles that try to keep us from possessing what God has promised, especially in our dreams.

We have two choices: we can quit and live in mediocrity, or we can fight until we win. In the Bible, the children of Israel were camped right next door to their Promised Land. God had already told them He would give them the victory; all they had to do was go in and fight for the land. But, when they heard how big their opponents were, they had such a weak, defeated mentality that they just gave up. Their attitude was, “What’s the use of even trying? We’ll never defeat those people. We might as well just stay out here in the wilderness.” They settled for mediocrity because they weren’t willing to fight. Don’t let that be you! The battle you have to fight today is in your mind. You have to change your thinking in order to possess God’s promises. Start choosing thoughts of faith and victory. Declare that you are an overcomer. As you stand and fight and win the battle in your mind, you’ll move forward and embrace the promises and dreams that God has for you. Are you fighting for what God has for you today?

Living Your Process

Believe and trust the process. Get rid of any and all self-doubts.

Learning to walk in your destiny is a process. The first step is to get a vision, a clear picture that you can see. The next step is to trust  — to believe in faith that it will happen. Then finally, you take a step of faith and live out what God has promised no matter what your circumstances or people around you have to say. First you dream it, than you believe it, and then you live it. Every dream I’ve ever had has followed this same pattern. We see in history that even great men and women walked through this process. They had to overcome doubts, they struggled on their journey, but they held on to what they knew wast their destiny and purpose in life. Today, if you are having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, understand that you are in a process. Don’t empower doubt with your words. Instead, keep declaring that He who promised is faithful! Keep the vision in front of you knowing that it is for an appointed time. Dream it and believe it because it won’t be long until you are living the blessed life God has prepared for you. Are you keeping your destiny dream alive today?
