Success in Life

Success in life depends upon being strong, having clear goals and being unstoppable.

Unfortunately most of us aren’t born that way. We grow that way. And that growth can either come from us entering willfully into situations that will cause us to grow or from the way we react when circumstances come upon us without our consent. The latter is what we call adversity. Most of us spend our lives trying to avoid adversity, and I guess that is just as well. We shouldn’t pursue adversity, but when she arrives, we should welcome her as a foe who, though our interaction with her, will make us into better people. Every contact we have with adversity gives us again the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and to forge our character into one that will achieve much later on. Are you working with adversity today?

Levels of Success

Your level of success is defined by how well you look at pressure and deal with it.

One of the major things that determines who is a Champion is their perspective of pressure and then how they deal with that pressure. We have talked in the past about how Champions use pressure. Champions take pressure and ride it to the top. Pressure is like helium to a someone who is unstoppable. They use pressure to rise. Others allow pressure to take them down. We all have to deal with pressure, so why not use it to your benefit. When you feel the symptoms of pressure coming on; stop and change your perspective of the pressure. You are in control of the pressure, not the other way around. Take your game to the next level by riding on the pressure. So you can see that pressure is under control. Never again allow it to hold you down. You are relentless and unstoppable; therefore, pressure has no control over you. What is your perspective of pressure?

Daily Routines

The secrets of success are hidden in the routines of our daily lives.

Your routines make up your process. What you do every day to be the best. The average will do follow the process some of the time. Maybe five days a week. The unstoppable follow the process every day. When I am asked; “What do you mean by everyday”? I mean everyday. Thats Monday through Sunday. It means holidays and birthdays. It means you follow the process when you feel like it and when you don’t. A Champion knows that feelings don’t factor in to being the relentless. When you only do something when you feel like it, then you will be average and drop out when it gets tough. It’s time to separate yourself from the rest of the crowd. Get your process simplified and do it everyday. Don’t let quit, give up or just get by ever come into your mind. Follow your plan to the tee. Make the necessary adjustments on the fly. Be the best at whatever you do. Be the Champion you were created to be. If you been knocked down by life and we all have, get back up today. Do you have a daily process?

Build Your Success

Don’t focus on your circumstances. Focus on the right beliefs that will help you build your success.

Are you ready to see something new in your life? The question is what have you been saying? Are you saying what you see in your circumstances? Are you talking your worries and frustrations to others, or are you declaring the truth over your life? The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means we set our future according to what we choose to say. If you need to see change in your circumstances, then start by changing your words. Don’t use your words to describe your situation; use your words to change your situation. Start declaring new things in order to start seeing new things! Speak blessing, speak peace, speak wholeness — declare the truth and watch your future change for the best. What are you speaking over your life today?

Raising the Bar

A Champion can’t even define success because they keep raising the bar on what that means.

Records where meant to be broken. What at one time was supposed to be success is now not even average. That is because those that are unstoppable keep changing the definition of success. To be the greatest of the greatest you have to keep raising the bar. You are never satisfied where you are at. When you become content and satisfied then you will not stay at the top for very long. I encourage you today to keep striving to be your best. Don’t compete against others but rather compete against yourself. When you find your true north, your purpose, your reason for being you will never have another boring, wasted, timing killing day. You will crave the end result of what you are doing. Keep raising your own personal bar. Being a Champion will mean you have to be relentless in your pursuit of being the best. Today you will change the definition of success in whatever it is you do. Are you ready to raise the bar?

We Can

With so many people in the world telling us we can’t succeed, we need to hear people telling us we can.

Too often we think it’s our role to inject a dose of “reality” into someone’s life. We think it’s our job to protect people from the pain of failure and defeat. We think we must point out how bad the economy is and how horrible the job market is and how the sky is falling. We think that dreams were meant for others. I say there are enough pessimists and “realists” in the world. The world doesn’t need more negativity and impossible thinkers. The world needs more optimists, encouragers, and inspirers. The world needs more people to speak into the hearts of others and say “I believe in you.” “Follow your passion and live your purpose.” “If you have the desire then you also have the power to make it happen.” “Keep working hard.” “You’re improving and getting better. Keep it up.” “The economy is tough but you can still grow your business.” “The job market is not great but I believe you’ll find the right job for you.” “We’ve hit a lot of obstacles but we’ll get the project finished.” “Even if you fail it will lead to something even better.” “You’re learning and growing.” I encourage you today to encourage someone during your day. Are you encouraging others?

Attitude of Success

I truly believe that it is attitude that will ultimately determine the altitude of success reached in life and that attitude is a decision.

Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, frustrated or offended. Maybe you had plans that didn’t work out, or someone was rude to you at the office. Maybe you were doing something that should have taken one hour and ended up taking three. Life is full of inconveniences. Even though we can’t always control our circumstances, we can control our reaction. They say, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond.”We should always go out each day with a positive attitude, full of hope. But at the same time, we should recognize that most days are not going to go exactly as we planned. However, we are created to live in peace. Peace is our position of power. If you get stressed because you got off schedule, or upset because your child wouldn’t eat his breakfast, or frustrated because somebody offended you, you are giving away your power. Instead, use good sense! Make the decision to release those offenses and disappointments so you live in peace. Overlook offense, release offense and move forward in power and victory. What is your attitude today?

Adversity and Success

Adversity and success are neighbors on the way to becoming a Champion, you have to have both in your life.

Some of the best advice you will ever get to be a Champion, to be unstoppable is to never, ever, never give up. When adversity is present, know that success is right behind it. All you have to do is keep on keeping on. Stay with your process. Don’t allow negative thoughts to stay in your mind. You may be going through the toughest time of your life, but don’t give up. You may be dealing with the worse adversity you have ever faced, but don’t quit today. You are not alone in your struggles. We all may have gotten here in different boats, but we in the same ship now. To be a Champion, to be relentless we need one another. Never try to do make it by yourself. I encourage you today, to stay the course. You are closer than you think you are right now. Be the Champion that you were created to be today! Are you dealing with adversity today?

Success Perspective

Without a doubt, your level of success will raise as your self-image improves.

You will never be any more successful than you see yourself. If you see yourself as a failure, barely getting by, not good enough, then that’s what you will be. However, the opposite is also true. When you turn it around, change your perspective and see yourself as a champion, well able, loved, appreciated, successful then you will be. You may say, “But. Coach, nobody else sees me as a winner. Nobody else says that I am good enough.” How do you see yourself?” Doesn’t matter how others see you. What matters the most is how you see yourself. What is your perspective of yourself. God created you for greatness. It may be greatness in your home only or it may be greatness for the world to see. Don’t concern yourself with who sees or knows. Be the person that you were created to be today. See yourself as a person of destiny. Know that you are full of purpose. How do you see yourself today?
