Fail to Fail

If you fail at something, do not focus on what you have lost; focus on what you have gained.

One thing I’ve noticed is that so many people are walking around who aren’t really living to the full the way God intends. Do you ever notice that many people quit living around forty, but yet they are going to stay on the planet until after they’re eighty? Maybe they went through a disappointment or had a failure. Someone hurt them, and now they’ve lost their joy and settled where they are. No, God has another victory in store! You wouldn’t be breathing unless God had something amazing in your future. It’s time to get your passion back and be determined to really live out all of your God-given days! The Bible says that God wants to bring you to a flourishing finish, not a fizzled-out finish. Don’t let disappointment or self-pity hold you back. God has promised that what was meant for your harm He will turn around and use for your good. Not only will He bring you out, but He will bring you out better off than you were before. Receive it by faith today and press forward into the abundant, fulfilled life He has in store for you. Are you living a full life today?

Fail to Destiny

Are you down on yourself today because of past mistakes you’ve made or because you’re not where you want to be in life?

God knows every poor choice, every difficulty, every wrong turn you may have made, and He’s already planned your comeback! In the Bible, Jonah took a detour, so to speak. It took him a little bit longer, but because he called out to God, because he believed, God not only rescued him, but God got him to his final destination. Know today that failure is not final. God always has the final say. Mistakes don’t have to keep you from your destiny. God’s plan can override every setback. Your world may be in turmoil today in a relationship, in your finances or health. But know this: not only will God rescue you; He will set your feet on a rock and lead you to your final destination in life. Remember, the promise He placed on the inside of you didn’t go away because you had some personal failures. No, that failure is only temporary but His Word remains forever! Keep hoping, keep believing because He will move you into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you. Are you moving forward despite your failures?

Failures and Mistakes

Mistakes happen. Failure happens. But no one can take my best from me. That’s mine. And that’s where I get my peace.
No matter where you’ve been, no matter what you’ve done, realize today that your destiny supersedes your mistakes. When God designed the plan for your life, it wasn’t dependent on you being perfect, never making a mistake, or never taking a wrong turn. No, God knew we would all make mistakes. He knows how to get you back on track no matter where you are in life. Just like there are many routes on a map, God has a plan to help you reach your destination. He has detours, shortcuts and bypasses. He has already calculated the entire route for your life. If you’re feeling like you’ve blown it, if you feel like you are too old, too far gone or too off track, know that nothing you’ve done, no mistake that you’ve made – or ever will make – is a surprise to God. He’s already got it figured out. He’s arranged a comeback for every setback! He has grace for every weakness. He has mercy for every failure. Receive it today and move forward with boldness into the destiny He has for you. Are you ready to move from mistakes and failures to success and destiny?

A lot of the time when people make mistakes, they get down on themselves and think, “If only…” “I should have…” “What if…?” It’s easy to feel like you’ve missed the best plan for your life. That’s when people get discouraged and stop working their process. Understand today, just because you’ve made a mistake or failed in some way, that doesn’t cancel God’s plan. God never disqualifies you. He never says, “Go sit on the sidelines. You’ve blown it too many times. You’ve got too many weaknesses.” No, God always gives you another chance. Some of the great people in the Bible made very poor choices. The apostle Paul started off as a murderer, yet his destiny was bigger than his mistakes. He ended up becoming a great leader and writing over half of the New Testament. What am I saying? Our mistakes, our failures, our poor choices don’t have to keep us from our God-given destiny. With God, it’s not about the way you start in life, it’s about the way you finish. Receive His grace today and embrace the bright future He has in store for you. Keep working your process and do not give up. Are you facing failure today?

People’s talent allows them to stand out, but they allow their failures and mistakes make them sit down.

Never Give Up

It has been said many times in many different ways; “Don’t give up.” It’s some of the best advice anyone could ever give.

There are going to be days when it looks like you have no choice but to give up. That is the day you must stand strong and face the situation head on.  There will be times when it looks like you are going to lose your mind if you don’t give up. That is the day that you must make up your mind to not give in to that temptation.  There will always be good reasons to give up, but the truth always says, never give up. Don’t give up on your relationships, don’t give up on your finances, don’t give up on your health, your goals are within your reach.  It is during the tough times that we find out what we are made of. Know that God did not give you an assignment just to see you fail it.  Failure is not a permanent thing, unless you make it such.  Giving up should never be an option for you.  The truth is you go through tough situations to prove yourself.  Grow from, learn from, and go through those hard days.  See yourself in a whole new light when you don’t give up, but rather you overcome.

Excuses Be Gone

We tend to make excuses when we don’t reach our goals.  It’s time to stop making excuses and take responsibility for our actions.

There are going to be times when we don’t reach our goal.  Sometimes it is not our fault, but it is our responsibility.  It does not mean you are a failure when you don’t reach a goal.  It could be that your goal was not realistic or it may not even be a goal you need to reach to begin with.  Just know that you are not a failure for not reaching a goal. Failure only comes when we quit or give up.  Making excuses for coming up short will not make us look any better.  Admit it and move on.  Determine whether or not you need to try again or move on to something else.  It is not the end of the world when we fall short of the mark.  Many times it is the just the beginning of something bigger and better.  Take time today to check your goals and the progress you are making toward them.  Also, make sure the goal is a goal you should be striving toward.

Looking Forward

Failures and disappointments. Aches and pains from the past that just won’t seem to go away. Most of us know what it’s like to suffer from them but too few of us know just what to do about them. So we limp along, hoping somehow they’ll magically stop hurting.

But it never happens that way. In fact, the passing of time often leaves us in worse condition–not better. Because, instead of putting those painful failures behind us, we often dwell on them until they become more real to us than the promises of God. We focus on them until we become bogged down in depression, frozen in our tracks by the fear that if we go on, we’ll only fail again. I used to get caught in that trap a lot. Then one day when I was right in the middle of a bout with depression, the Lord spoke up inside me and said: “Scott, your problem is you’re forming your thoughts off the past instead of the future. Don’t do that! Unbelief looks at the past and says, “See, it can’t be done.” But faith looks at the future and says, “It can be done, and according to the promises of God, it is done!” Then putting past failures behind it forever, faith steps out and acts like the victory’s already been won. If depression has driven you into a spiritual nosedive, break out of it by getting your eyes off the past and onto your future–a future that’s been guaranteed by Jesus through the great and precious promises in His Word. So, do it! Replace thoughts of yesterday’s mistakes with scriptural promises about your future. As you do that, hope will start taking the place of depression. The spiritual aches and pains that crippled you for so long will quickly disappear. Instead of looking behind you and saying, “I can’t,” look ahead and say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”
