Learning Humility

Being humble I have heard is; not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.  Humility in my life has been feeling sorry for myself and having a pity party. I was wrong and therefore; never had true humility.

If we have low self esteem and don’t know the truth from God about ourselves; then we will have pity parties rather true, healthy humility.  Humility in action is not weak, pitiful or sorry.  Humility is one of the strongest attributes that a person can live out.  Humility is a servant that also knows how to receive being served.  Humility knows how to die to self and how to live for God.  Humility is a rare thing for most today.  We are taught to lookout for number one; number one being ourselves.  However, when we sow into others through humility we will looked out for in a better way than we ever could ourselves.  Go after humility today! Desire it with all your whole being.  The power of humility in your life today will change you forever.
