Who not What

When we care more about what someone does instead of who they are; we will never be able to love, appreciate & believe in them.

Most people today identify who they are by what they do, but this is not healthy.  What we do may be our work or our job in most cases, but it may not be who we are.  When we look at folk as who they are; then we can begin to appreciate them the way we ought to.  Take the time to look what a person does and begin to see them for who they are.  We are to love the who not the what.  We love the person for who they are and not what they can do for us, too.  See, the what is on the outside; while the who is on the inside.  This is the only way, too, that we can love those that hurt us.  It has nothing to do with the what they did to us, we love them  anyways.  Not the easiest thing to do, but once we make it a lifestyle then it does get easier everyday.  Love what? Love who.
