Mistakes

When you’re confident, you don’t care about what others think; you can take your mistakes seriously but still keep moving forward because you know its ok.

If you are trying, making attempts, making a difference then you are going to make mistakes. It is unavoidable. The only ones that aren’t making mistakes are those that are doing nothing. At the same time, doing nothing, is a mistake in itself. However, if you are unstoppable, then when you do make a mistake, you make it right and then move forward. You don’t beat yourself up and spend a week in a funk. A Champion has the unique ability not to take himself too seriously. They are serious about what they do, but know they can laugh at themselves when needed. There is a balance in being unstoppable and relentless. When you can shake off a mistake and keep doing what you do, then you are close to having balance. Many people never find the balance in their life that it takes to be a Champion. Are you able to move forward when you make a mistake?

The Voice Inside

If you’re serious about going where you’ve never been, pushing higher and farther, it’s time to trust the voice inside to be unstoppable.

We all have that inner voice that pushes us forward. We also have one that tells us that we can’t make it. Which one do you listen to? The one you feed the most is the one that will speak the loudest. To be unstoppable you have to completely shut out the other voice. Don’t let it continue to talk to you. Today it’s time to trust the relentless, unstoppable, Champion voice that is speaking to you. Unfortunately not everyone listens to this voice. If you are going to be your very best, however, you have to listen to the voice that refuses to let you give up. There is too much for you to accomplish to even consider giving up. I understand that you may be going through a tough season in your life. All the more reason to step up your game. Put in the work and time to be the absolute best, to be unstoppable. You will never regret the effort you put into being your best. You would regret not putting in time and listening to the inner voice that encourages you to be unstoppable. Which voice are you listening to today?

Practice Time

If you want to perform at a level of a Champion you must practice at a level of a Champion.

Allen Inversion, former NBA star, made a joke about practice that is still played on YouTube. However, practice is what develops the Champion in you. The way you practice is how you will perform. Whether you are an athlete, stay at home mom, business man or a student it holds true. Your preparation makes all the difference. Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect. How you prepare to do what you do is how you will preform what you do. Don’t take for granted your practice time. Make each repetition count. Learn and grow during practice. By changing your perspective about preparation and practice will make all the difference in how you perform. If you desire to be a Champion, to be unstoppable, then it starts with practice. How do you practice today?

Mental Battles

There is a battle going on in our minds.

Our thoughts dictate our actions. That’s why it can so easy to have your mind go in the wrong direction. Sometimes, it’s not our own thoughts that are holding us back; sometimes it’s that we’ve believed the negative things that other people have spoken. Those words are like weeds. If you dwell on them long enough, they’ll take root and become reality. In life, there will always be people telling you what cannot be done, speaking negative things. Too often we hold on to those negative words and develop a “stronghold.” That’s a wrong thought or action that keeps us from becoming a Champion . The way you break those negative strongholds is by rejecting the lie, forgiving the person, and standing on the truth. In other words, you have to choose to delete that negative file in your mind. Today, why don’t you take inventory of your thought life? Ask yourself, “Where did these thoughts come from? Do they line up with what God says about me?” Break the negative strongholds and hold on to the truth so you can be the relentless, unstoppable Champion you were created to be! Are you winning the mental battle today?

Work of a Champion

There are a lot of average people walking around who have Champion buried inside them, but are not trained or willing to do the work needed.

Being average is a choice. You were created to be a Champion. You have the seeds of greatness inside you. However, you have to do the work to grow the seeds. It takes work to be a Champion. You have to do the work and the training to bring it out. It is hard work, takes sacrifice and discipline. Don’t take the easy way out. Do what you do to be great. It is truly disappointing knowing that so many people go their grave with never bringing out the relentless Champion out. It’s not too hard. You have what it takes. You can do this. There are people around you that will be there to help you. Then in time you will be able to help those around you too. Take the time to do the work to be unstoppable. No more excuses. No more whining. Are you doing the work to be a Champion today?

Greatness

But you have to remember, as a Champion, you have greatness on the inside of you.

When you go through disappointments or tough times, you may feel like you’ve been buried. You may feel like you’re in a dark, lonely place. You may feel like it’s the end; but in reality, it’s only the beginning. The fact is, you haven’t been buried; you have been planted. That means you’re coming back. And not only are you coming back, but you’re coming back in strength, better and stronger than before! In those tough times, you’ve got to draw the line in the sand. Make a declaration, “This tough time is not going to bury me. This loss, this disappointment, this injustice is not going to cause me to give up on my dreams. I refuse to live in self-pity. I know I am a seed. That means I cannot be buried. I can only be planted. I may be down, but it’s only temporary. I know I’m not only coming back, I’m coming back even better than I was before!” Are you planted today?

The Courage to Dream

Courage is the difference between dreaming of the life you want and living the life of your dreams.

When you step up to the person who were created to be; it will take courage. If you have already taken this step; then you know exactly what I am talking about. You will be told you can’t do it, you’re crazy for trying, what are you doing and so on. I have been told more than once that I will never make it as a Sports Psychologist. Well I am doing quite well! Now, don’t let the negative folk stop you. Matter of fact you should get them out of hearing distance. There are some people that you can only love from a long way off. All negative people are in that group. When you step up to be a Champion, it will take all the courage you can muster. Negative people will not add to your courage tank. Champions are positive and are courageous. There is no one else on the planet that can do what you were put here to do; just like you can do it. That alone takes courage. Knowing that you are going to be the target of non-champions takes courage. However, you have the courage. You have the goods. You are a Champion. You are relentless. Go do what you do and let the rest go. Be that Champion you have dreamed about being. Are you showing courage today?

Your Circumstances

Don’t focus on your circumstances. Focus on the right beliefs that will help you build your success.

Are you ready to see something new in your life? The question is what have you been saying? Are you saying what you see in your circumstances? Are you talking your worries and frustrations to others, or are you declaring the truth over your life? The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means we set our future according to what we choose to say. If you need to see change in your circumstances, then start by changing your words. Don’t use your words to describe your situation; use your words to change your situation. Start declaring new things in order to start seeing new things! Speak blessing, speak peace, speak wholeness — declare the truth and watch your future change for the best. What are you speaking over your life today?

Success in Life

Success in life depends upon being strong, having clear goals and being unstoppable.

Unfortunately most of us aren’t born that way. We grow that way. And that growth can either come from us entering willfully into situations that will cause us to grow or from the way we react when circumstances come upon us without our consent. The latter is what we call adversity. Most of us spend our lives trying to avoid adversity, and I guess that is just as well. We shouldn’t pursue adversity, but when she arrives, we should welcome her as a foe who, though our interaction with her, will make us into better people. Every contact we have with adversity gives us again the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and to forge our character into one that will achieve much later on. Are you working with adversity today?
