It's Your Time

The moment God puts a promise in your heart.  He establishes a set time that it will happen.  It won’t be a second late.

Sometimes we wonder why it seems like it is taking so long.  We get discouraged and start thinking that our dreams will never happen.  Once we realize that God has it all planned out and the time is in His hands; we can rest knowing it will be.  Know that when it’s your time, nothing can stop it from happening.  You can stand in faith knowing will full confidence that your time is coming.  Don’t get discouraged and frustrated just because you don’t see anything happening.  It may not be visible in the natural but it is growing and maturing on the inside.  Stay the course, stand on the promises of God and know that He will do His part.  So wait with expectancy.  Understand that today could be the day!

Tough Situations

Just as a pearl faces many irritants to become beautiful, God uses uncomfortable situations to mold and shape us. 

One of the ways God shapes us is by allowing us to be in situations where we’re uncomfortable.  This pressure brings to light impurities in our character-pride, selfishness, being critical and easily offended-that need to leave our lives so we can move forward into His blessings. Are you running from adversity, praying away hard situations, and everyone that is difficult? If so, it’s time for a fresh revelation. God has a purpose behind every situation to shape you, mold you and bring you into God’s best.  If you work with God through all situations, God will make more out of your life than you’ve ever dreamed.

A New Level

God will never ask you to do something without putting His ability to do it on the inside of you.  

You may be at a place where you can easily become discouraged and give up on what God has placed in your heart. But the good news is that, God has spoken a promise over you that will not die.  You can try to ignore it, and your mind will try to convince you that it’s never going to happen.  But deep down, you’ll feel a burning, a restlessness, a fire. That’s the promise that God has put in you.  What God has spoken over your life will happen.  Some people look to others to fulfill their destiny but you have to realize you are the right person.  You don’t need anyone else to give birth to what God has placed in your heart. You are equipped. You are gifted. You are talented. You have what it takes.  The gift, the promise, is in you.  Now is the time for you to stir up what’s on the inside.  It’s time for you to rise to a new level and do something great for God.

Cheers

I grew up playing sports, and I’ve experienced the difference it makes to have somebody in the stands pulling for you. When you know they’re watching you, you hear them calling your name, you see their hands up in the air; it does something on the inside. It causes you to jump a little higher and run a little faster. You’ve got a greater determination because you know somebody is rooting for you.

You have a great multitude in heaven cheering you on! They’re saying, “You can do it! You’re a winner! You are well able, strong and equipped. No weapon formed against you shall prosper!” No matter what difficulty you may be facing, you always have the home field advantage. You are always surrounded by the voice of victory. Let that sink down deep into your heart today. Let it build confidence in you and give you the strength you need to keep moving forward into the abundant, victorious life He has prepared for you!

Destiny Stealers

Take a good, honest look at your life right now; today. What is keeping you from living your destiny to the fullest? What is stopping you from doing what you know in your heart you were created to do?

There are things, sometimes people, and other distractions that will keep you from your purpose in life in you allow them to.  Take a careful inspection of your life right now, what needs to be cut out? If it is not in your purpose, destiny zone then it needs to go. There may be some relationships that need to be cut out or put on the back burner for a while.  There may be activities you are involved in right now, that are good things, but they are not what you are supposed to be doing.  Most people spend 80% of their time getting 20% done.  This is costing them in every area.  You were created with a specific destiny in mind and playing 80 holes of golf a week may not be it.  Running around for other people just may not be your purpose.  All can be good things, but if it is not your responsibility, purpose or destiny then it is not a good thing for you to be doing.  Today is a great day to do a distraction inventory.  What needs to go? Who needs to go? Eliminate the destiny stealers from your life.

This One Thing

There was a time in my life when everything was falling apart.  My dad had died, my  family was in turmoil and I didn’t have a clue what to do or where to turn for help.

Then early one morning I was praying and I simply asked God this one question; “What can I stand on no matter what is going on in my life”?  I had to have an answer because everything I had believed in for my entire life I had seen fall and crumble.  I only wanted one thing, because at that time I could only handle one thing.  I begin to write things down such as; prayer, worship, tithing, praise, worship, but each time I felt a no, so I would cross out the answer.  I got up to leave where I was and said; “Well, God at least now I know there is nothing that I can depend on no matter what. I may not like it, but knowing that truth is all I wanted to know.” I was just about to walk out the door when down in my belly, right where you feel the pain, the struggle, the hurt the most; I heard this just as clear as day; “Scott, my love.”  No angelic choir busted out in song, no bells or whistles.  But I knew then that God’s love is always there.  It is always constant.  When nothing else is standing, nothing makes sense, no one is there for you; Jesus loves me.  From that day til now, when life seems unfair and all looks like it is about to fall in on me; I remember that one thing; Jesus loves me.  Now if He loves me that means that He loves you too.  Know that one thing.  Jesus loves you!

Make the Time

When you put God first place and make it your highest priority to please Him, then you can expect to live a blessed, fulfilled life.

The reward is in the seeking. The reward is in the making the effort. Invite God into your everyday life.  Not just once when you commit your life to Him, but all through the day.  In all your ways acknowledge God.  Even the things that you can do on your own, if you will acknowledge God, it will go better.  It will be easier.  When you go after God, He promises a reward is coming.  God will give you strength, wisdom, favor, good breaks, promotion, healing and restoration. You won’t be able to outrun the good things of God when you seek Him with your whole heart.  

Put God first place in your life.  Give Him the honor that is due Him.  Give God the time He is asking for and He will see to it that your time is honored too.  God wants you to spend time with Him. If you claim to love Him you will.

Favor Today

When you recognize that you are a person of destiny and purpose; you then have the advantage.  Your mindset changes when you see the big picture for your life here.

It is like the light bulb that goes off in your mind.  When we realize that you have purpose you will then see you have the edge; the advantage in life.  You may not be able to see it in the natural.  You may not can see it on paper.  It may not can be measured.  However, you will know it when you can’t even explain it.  You may not have all the experience. You may not have all the talent.  Still you come out on top.  You seem to catch the right breaks.  You are at the right place at the right time.  This is the favor of God that comes when we line our life up with the plan He has for us.  When we start to walk and live our destiny we have His favor going before us.  No more just getting by, no more just being average, but now you are rising to a new level.  Today you can step out of the place you are in and move into the place that God has prepared for you.  Live in God’s favor.  See your life change like never before.  See doors open that you didn’t know existed.  Favor is your’s today!

Time and Place

There is a time and place for everything.  Today is time and where you are is your place.  You were created for this time and place.  You have a purpose and a destiny to fulfill; so let’s get started.

Often times people will say that they should have been born in another time period and/or another place.  That is not true.  You were born when and where you were so that you would be right here, right now.  You may have had to endure some tough times, heartaches, and unfair conditions during your time, but that does not negate the fact that you are right where you are supposed to be.  Take what you have been through, places you have been, people you have met and gleam what you should from it.  Don’t let all the negative stuff in your life turn you into a negative, bitter person. Forgive all that you have held unforgiveness toward, including yourself.  Release all grudges, hatred, anger, and resentment that you have toward anyone. Allow the healing to release you from all that; so that you can live free and clean.  

You are right here right now. From this day forward make it your decision to live and walk in your destiny.  You have an awesome future ahead of you.  Make each day your greatest day ever.

The Truth About You

What are saying about yourself right now? What do you think about yourself when you wake up each day? Your the one you believe over anyone else. 

So make sure that you are hearing the right things about yourself.  Be positive about your outlook.  No more lies about how you aren’t going to make it.  No more believing that you are through, you are done, washed up, never going to amount to anything.  That is simply not true.  It is important that you hear, believe in and act on the truth about you.  Learn the truth about yourself today and put that into action.  Truth is you have been wonderfully and awesomely created.  Yeah you make have made some mistakes along the way, but truth is you are not those mistakes and those mistakes aren’t you.  You probably have made some wrong choices in life, but those wrong choices aren’t who you are.  You are a person of destiny.  You have purpose and usefulness all inside you.  You are loved and cared about.  You are needed.  There is no one on earth that can do what you were put here to do just like you can.  You have an assignment here on earth.  Don’t let your life end without finishing that assignment.  That is the truth about you.  I am excited about your destiny and your future.  Get up each day looking for your daily assignment.
