Confident Confidence

Many people lack the confidence to do the simple things in life, let alone challenge themselves to greater things.

A lot of the time when people face challenges, their natural tendency is to look for  comfort in things that are familiar. It may be work, an activity or relationships; and of course, we all know about “comfort food.” But, those things only bring temporary comfort.  According to Webster’s dictionary, comfort means to give strength and hope; to ease grief or trouble. No matter what difficulty you may be facing today, God wants to bring you comfort. Like a mother cares for her child, He longs to give you strength, hope and confidence. Turn to Him. Receive His love. Let go of things that would hold you back. Let Him heal your heart and give you strength for the future. Let Him empower you to rise up and overcome every obstacle in Jesus’ name. Are you lacking in confidence today?

Confidence

Trust can reduce mental clutter, give focus, and provide confidence.

One thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always work on our time table. In fact, He rarely does. But, in a single moment, God can change your life! All throughout the Bible, we see examples of how God was working behind the scenes and instantly turned things around for His people. The Bible tells us He is the same yesterday, today and forever which means if He did it for them, He can instantly turn things around for you, too! You may be going through some difficulty today, but be encouraged because your times are in God’s hands. Trust that He has your best interest at heart. He wants to pour out His favor. He wants to take you further than you dreamed possible and work in your life in ways beyond what you have ever imagined. Let this truth sink down into your heart today. Resist discouragement by speaking His Word over your future. Keep standing, keep hoping and keep believing because He is working behind the scenes. Have faith because your times are in His hands, and He will lead you in the life of victory He has for you! Are you confident today?

Have you been praying and believing for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer than you thought?

Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their “due season” come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer is closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your answer. It always seems darkest just before the dawn arrives. God is faithful, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t lose your confidence today because your breakthrough is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain once she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding on to your promise. While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My day is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Are you ready to receive your answer to your prayers?

Warrior Mentality

When in difficult situations maintain a warrior mentality. Stand tall even if you are coming apart on the inside and demonstrate confidence.

“Never let’um see you sweat.” We have all heard that phrase in one way or another. When you are in a tight spot, a pressure situation, how do you react or respond? Many people fall a part on the inside and out. However, the warrior mentality is to stand strong. Know that you are stronger than anything thrown at you. When you show confidence on the outside it will make you stronger on the inside. When those around you see that you are standing tall, not doubting, not blaming, they too will be inspired. You are a difference maker, a leader, an encourager; those around you want to see you confident. They will feed off your strength. Be the person that God created you to be. Rise to the occasion. There is at least one situation you are facing today, that needs you to stand strong with a warrior mentality. Be the change that needs to take place. No doubt, no fear, no worry. All faith, all confident, all strength. Is there something going on in your life today that you need to a warrior mentality?

Confidence Level

Do not let losing or failure take away from your confidence. When your foundation confidence is strong you will not fall under pressure.

You are going to have failure and losses in your life. How you respond to these situations is critical to your confidence. When you have a strong, base, foundational confidence there is nothing or no one that can take it away from you.  However, if your confidence is not structured and sound; then seasons of losing or failure will bring you down. It is vital to have a healthy confidence that can withstand the pressure; so that you don’t fold under the pressure. You don’t want to be arrogant or cocky because that isn’t healthy base confidence. You want to have a confidence that comes from the truth. The truth being that you are a blessed individual, that has a God-given talent and gift. The truth is your confidence comes from knowing that God has a plan for your life. Go out today knowing that you are a confident person. Even if your confidence level isn’t as high as it should be yet. Your foundation may not be as strong as it needs to be yet. However, it is getting better each and every day. Keep your head up. Everything you do does make a difference. You matter and you do count. Is your confidence strong today?

Mental Toughness

As your mental toughness rises so does your confidence. These two feed off one another. When you know you can do it, no one can stop you.

We hear a lot about mental toughness, but rarely do we think we have it. It is something that you have to develop and work on. The upside to this work is that your confidence will rise as does your mental toughness. Anyone can develop mental toughness, and must if you want more confidence. I would hope that you would want to develop your mental toughness, because I want you to be more confident in yourself. Be able to endure the tough moments in your life and not all apart. Be able to help others when there is a situation around you. Mental toughness will enable you to just that. You will also have the confidence to step up and do what is necessary when it is necessary. Don’t let doubt and insecurity rob you of your confidence. Start today developing mental toughness. I believe you will love the benefits of doing this.

Despite It All

Do you ever feel weak or not good enough? Are you letting a weakness, failure, or insecurity keep you from reaching your destiny?  If so, it’s time to shake that off.

We all have weaknesses and insecurities.  Every one of us has unique flaws.  Every person that god has ever used had weaknesses and insecurities.  With God we can still do extraordinary things.  Even though we may be considered ordinary.  The key is we have to be willing to let God work through us.  Don’t let your limitations limit what God can become in your life.

God wants to work in your life right now to do great things.  If God chose us just based on our background, on our past performance, or even our talent or ability, none of us would have a chance.  However, God doesn’t choose us because of what we can become.  Don’t sit on the sidelines of life anymore.  God is saying; “I handpicked you not because you were perfect, not because you had it all together.  I chose you because I can see the potential inside of you.  I know what you can become.”  Now you’ve got to get back in the game.  Get your fire back.  Get your dreams back.  You’re not supposed to sit on the sidelines until you’re perfect. God wants to work through you right now with your limitations.  He wants to bless you despite your weaknesses. That way when you rise to a new level, God will get all the credit.
