Paying It Forward

There are a lot of people who are successful in this world.

They’ve accomplished their goals in the public eye. But being successful isn’t just about what you make happen for yourself, it’s about what you make happen for others. It’s when you realize, “God has blessed me not to just sit around and let everybody see my accomplishments; God has blessed me to be a blessing to others. God has helped me to win so I can help somebody else win.” In other words, it’s when you realize, “God helped me overcome this addiction, now I’m going to go find somebody and help them overcome.” Or, “God has blessed me with a happy family. I’m going to go find a family that’s struggling and help them get back on track.” That’s what being successful is really all about. Today, look for ways to help others succeed. Reach back and give freely of the talents and abilities you’ve been given. As you do, you’ll rise up higher and live in the fullness of the blessing God has prepared for you. Are you helping others be successful today?

There is More

Knowing your unique talents is critical to completing your purpose and calling.

No matter what is happening in your life today you have a reason to be excited about your future! If things seem dark right now, know that the dawn will soon appear. The key is you have to remember that you are not here by accident. You have a purpose and destiny to fulfill, and God isn’t finished with you yet. Your best days are not behind you; your best days are out in front of you. God has greater things in store for your future than you have experienced in your past. His dream for your future is so much bigger than your own. He wants to take you places that you’ve never dreamed and open up doors that you’ve never imagined. He wants to bring talent out of you that you didn’t even know you had. He wants to increase you and cause you to be a greater blessing to the people around you. Get your hopes up and get excited about your future! Begin to thank Him for what He has in store. Keep standing, keep believing and keep moving forward because God has explosive blessings in store for you. Are you ready to use your talents to see your purpose and calling today?

Awesome Year

The best way to move forward is to let go of the stuff that has been holding you back.

This year, I believe, is going to be a year of breakthrough for many people. Maybe you’ve been facing some difficulties. Remember, great difficulties lead to great victories. Maybe you’ve felt like the storms of life have been blowing against you, trying to hold you back. I believe this year that the winds are changing direction, and now they are going to start propelling you forward. Due season is coming. It’s not time to sit back. It’s not time to let up. It’s time to press forward. It’s time to rise up! Don’t grow weary while doing good. Keep doing good and don’t lose heart because it’s your time, and it’s your season! By faith begin to declare, “2013 is my year! I’m stepping into a new season. I’m letting go of what didn’t work out. I’m putting on a new attitude and enlarging my vision. I’m going to go into this year with a new fire and greater expectancy. I’m pressing forward to step into my season!” Are you ready for the most awesome year of your life?

Being Great

True greatness happens when your life is centered on the deeper concerns of life; like finding peace with ourselves.

I want to declare words of blessing over you. I want to call forth your seeds of greatness. Someone may have told you what you can’t become, but I’m here to tell you what you can become. You are a person of destiny. You are equipped. You are talented. You are creative. You were designed for a purpose. You are loved, chosen and accepted by God. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more and nothing you can do to make Him love you less. His grace is sufficient for you. His angels have charge over you. You are blessed coming in and blessed going out. You have uncommon wisdom. You have uncommon joy. You have uncommon peace. He is your protector, and He will fight for you! No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Are you ready to receive His true greatness and blessings?

Change Coming

Growth means change and change involves risk, stepping from the known to the unknown.

God is always looking to take us to higher levels. He wants us to grow and increase in every area. Change is often a catalyst for growth in our lives, and it keeps up from getting stuck in a rut. To help keep us on our path toward our destiny, God will supernaturally open and close doors of opportunity. He will “stir us” out of comfortable situations and stretch us because He loves us too much to allow us to live in mediocrity. Do you know how an eaglet learns to fly? That mother eagle will take her eaglet to the very highest point—way out of its comfort zone—and then she just releases it. As the eaglet falls, the mother swoops down and picks it back up again. She does this over and over until the eaglet spreads its wings and soars through the air. That’s what God wants for you today. He wants you to soar in life! You might feel like that eaglet learning to fly, but know that God is right there with you! He is bringing you new times and seasons so that you will rise higher and embrace the very best He has in store for you. Are you ready for change and growth in your life? Ready for new levels of blessing that come with that?

Speaking the Blessing

Have you thought about the people in your life who need your blessing? They need your approval.

They need to hear you say, “I’m proud of you. You’re going to do great things.” That’s speaking the blessing. That’s releasing favor into their future. When you say to the people you love, “I’m so glad you’re in my life. You mean the world to me,” you just gave them the blessing. When you tell one of your employees, coworkers or a student, “You amaze me with your ability. You have such a bright future,” those are not just nice compliments. When you speak the blessing, you’re releasing God’s wisdom, protection, favor and abundance into their future. You can literally help shape their destiny. One word of encouragement, one word of approval can be what helps them to really step up to who God created them to be. Choose to speak the blessing. Sow good seeds into the lives of the people you love. Remember, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. As you sow the blessing, you’ll reap the blessing and experience His victory and favor all the days of your life! Is there someone in your life today you need to speak the blessing into their life?

Giver or Taker

Your number one greatest natural resource is people. Don’t use up people but give back to make the resource greater.

Oftentimes people look at other people from the perspective of what can they do for me. However, it is time that to look at others and say; what can I do for them. The people in your life were not put there for you to use.  God places people in your life for you to help. All you have to is give out of what you have; your gift. When you pour into others, then God will pour far more back into you. You then become like a fresh well or better yet; an overflowing well. When you have the mentality that all people want something; to what can I do meet their need; then God will meet your need. What difference does it really make what their thought process is? God has given to you so that you can give to others. What they think is their business. Sure, some will be ungrateful and expect you to give to them. There is a reason for that; poverty mentality that needs to be broken. However, when we expect them to be all thankful and humble; then maybe we are being prideful or selfish. We are to be givers without a motive or agenda. This can be a sensitive area for some, while for others it is a lifestyle. Do you have a freely give mentality? Can you give without expecting to get anything back from the other person? What are your motives and agenda concerning giving?

Integrity Rules

Integrity is a powerful attribute in the life of the believer. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest.

You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity — even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s not God’s provision, that’s a test of integrity! If you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things, God will make you ruler over much. Be a person of integrity and open the door for God’s blessing and honor all the days of your life!

Take Off the Limits

A lot of people limit themselves in their thinking. They don’t think they’ll ever accomplish their dreams.

They start thinking they don’t have the talent, the connections or the money. They don’t think a marriage could ever be restored or they’ll ever get out of debt. That kind of thinking comes from looking at things in the natural. That’s a limited perspective. We have to realize that God is a supernatural God. Just because we don’t see a way doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a way. God can bring one opportunity across your path that will thrust you to a new level. He has explosive blessings that can blast you out of debt and into abundance! He can do what medical science can’t do! I encourage you to take the limits off your thinking.  Trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf, and He will make a way out of no way. Remember, what you are facing may seem impossible with man, but when God puts His “super” on your “natural,” anything is possible!

Good Word

Take the time today to speak a blessing over your life. We hear people speak curses over their life and never realize what they have done.  To think it is funny or okay to demean yourself or speak negative words over your life is wrong.

Don’t be against yourself. There are so many things going us today, circumstances, people, life seems to be against us most of the time. The last thing you need is to be going against yourself.  It is just as wrong to criticize yourself as it someone else.  You will never break out of the negative cycles you are in if you don’t change your words.  I challenge you today to take five minutes a day to speak positive things over your life.  “I am full of purpose,” I am healthy,” I am a masterpiece,” I am good looking,” “I am beautiful,” “I am loved.”  Start your day by speaking a blessing over your life and see your life change.  There will be work to do, but to be positive and growing, takes work. It is easy to be negative and defeated. You don’t have to do anything to get those results.  Be a blessing speaker today. Little by little you will see your life change for the better. Speak victory not defeat. Your life will move toward your words. Make the decision today to build your life up by speaking what God has said about you. Go to His Word and find the verses that talk about how He feels toward you.  Today can be the first day of the brand new you!
