Back To Normal

“Getting back to normal” does not mean stop growing and settling for average. So, in my life, there is no getting back to normal. We are growing toward excellence, until that becomes the norm.

After something has altered our life temporary; we often say we can’t wait to get back to normal.  I have said this many times myself, but now I will never go back to normal.  There will be no going back and there will be no normal.  There will be going  forward, growing, maturing and changing.  The norm will be improving, learning, having excellence.  We have to have a standard in our life that we work toward.  How high you set the bar is up to you, but the higher the better.  Not completely out of reach, but keep moving the bar higher as you grow.  Don’t get too complacent where you are at now.  We want to continue to grow and have excellence in our life.  No more getting back to normal!

Been There

I want to encourage people, offer hope, love, purpose to those that are hurting. I have been discouraged, without hope, love or purpose.

I have been in a place in life where I had no hope, I was hurting, feeling unloved and with no purpose for my life.  I don’t ever want to go to that place again and I don’t want you there either.  If you realize today that you are there, then good news is here; you don’t have to stay another day.  You can get up and get out today.    For most of us it is simply changing our mindset; our perspective.  In some cases it does mean a physical move, but even in that case there will be a change of mindset and perspective.  Today is your day for a change. Be encouraged right now! You are loved, you have hope, and a very specific purpose and destiny.  Don’t go another minute believing that you are not wanted or needed.  You do have a destiny!

Fired Up

If you’ve been standing in faith for the promises of God, I want you to know today that your time is coming! The dreams and desires in your heart, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Don’t give up just because it has taken a long time, or just because you’ve tried and failed.

I encourage you today — get your fire back! Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Declare today, “My time is coming…God is working behind the scenes on my behalf…I will fulfill my destiny…I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare, expect, and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you!

Shut My Mouth

One way we “close our mouths” so to speak, is by choosing negative thoughts. If you go around thinking, “Well, I don’t think I’ll ever meet my sales goals this year with the economy like it is”; or “I don’t think I’ll ever get promoted because I’m not that qualified”; or “I don’t think I’ll ever get well,” you will always get negative results.

Replace the negative ‘can’t do’ talk with positive ‘can do’ talk.  We will say what we believe and make it happen.  Change your negative thoughts to positive ones.  You may be saying, “How can I, my situation is so horrible?”  I understand that you may be going through or have been through some horrendous stuff, but we have to look at it and know that no matter what we will be stronger, smarter, and better because of it.  Your words and thoughts are so powerful, more powerful than we think sometimes.  Find something positive in your life today and build on it.  Begin to search out positive people and learn from them.  It’s easy to be negative, so it will take some work, but I know you can do it.  Today is a positive day!

Give Me a Break

Today give someone a break, a hand up, hope, forgiveness, smile, and love. Make a person feel like they are appreciated and cared about.

So many times we see people use others to get their way, to make it their goal, to make it to the top.  Today we are going to make a change in that perception. Let’s help others make it their goal. Let’s give those around us a hand up, give them hope, and forgiveness.  I often hear people say, “Will, I ever catch a break?”  Make it happen today. Offer what you have to them; a smile, pat on the back, and appreciation.  People around you right now, just need a little encouragement, a little pick me up.  It’s great to be able to take our minds off our problems, but it is even greater to get our problems completely out of our minds.  Make a huge difference in people’s lives today.  Give a them a break, hand up, hope, forgiveness, smile and a little love. You can change someone’s life today!

Story Time

We all have a story to tell. No one wants to be left out, abandoned, unwanted or unappreciated. Take the time today to listen to someone’s story. Show them the love, the appreciation, and the love that we all desire.

The more I am involved in writing this blog, book projects, and other stuff, the more I see that it is a fact; we all have a story to tell.  Many people’s story is full about hurt, disappointment, failure, and pain.  That’s where we can offer the healing, hope, forgiveness, and love to those who’s story is not happy for now.  Take time to show those around you today that they are accepted, appreciated, and care about.  Also, know that your dreams do count, your gift does count, your life does count.  You are very much loved and appreciated today; right now!

Stand Strong

Do you ever find yourself avoiding a difficult situation? Many people today run when things get hard. They run from their problems. They run from responsibility. They run from people they don’t like. They run from the past. They run from anything that makes them uncomfortable. Instead of facing the issue and dealing with it, they look for the path of least resistance, which isn’t the path to victory. If we are going to embrace all that God has for us, we have to learn how to face our challenges head on.

God wants us to stand strong, set our faces like a flint, and fight the good fight of faith. And the good news is you don’t have to do it in your own strength! God is on your side. He’s equipped you with His supernatural power to overcome every obstacle.Today, know that God is with you. He is for you. You are equipped to overcome. Stand strong, stand in faith, knowing that you will see the salvation and deliverance of Almighty God in every area of your life!

Be Strong

Every person has had negative things spoken over them in the past. Maybe someone told you that you don’t have what it takes or that you’re not going to be successful. It’s almost like they cursed your future. But the good news is that the blessing of God is greater than any curse. If you’ll get rid of those negative strongholds and choose to believe what God says about you in His Word, you will begin to see a turning point in your life.

Today, I declare blessing over you — that you are strong and courageous. You are full of talent, creativity, and wisdom. You can accomplish your God-given dreams. You walk in divine health. You have favor with every person you meet. Everything you touch is going to prosper and succeed. Those seeds of greatness on the inside of you are growing stronger and stronger. That hidden treasure is about to burst forth and you’re going to come in to new seasons of increase, new seasons of favor, new seasons of God’s blessings! You are who God says you are. You have what God says you have. And I declare you can do everything God says you can do.

Big Dreams

One thing I’ve learned is that you cannot out dream God. When God brings a dream to pass that He’s placed in your heart, it’s going to be greater than you ever imagined. It’s going to be bigger, better and more rewarding. You could say: God’s going to supersize your dream!

Your dream may be to just get well, to be able to get around like you used to. That’s good, but God thinks bigger. When He supersizes that dream, you’ll not only be able to walk, you’ll be able to run! Your dream may be to just keep your marriage together. But God’s dream is to make your marriage happier and more fulfilling that it’s ever been before. Your dream may be to just pay your bills each month, but God’s dream is to give you an abundance so that you not only have enough for your needs, but you have money left over to be a blessing to other people! Today, have faith in God. Trust Him because He has good plans for you, and He is ready to supersize your dreams!

It Will Happen

Sometimes in the natural, we don’t see how God’s promises are going to come to pass in our lives. It seems like there are so many obstacles to overcome. But we have to see God’s Word like a seed. When it’s planted in our hearts, and we water it by thinking the right thoughts and expecting good things, that little seed begins to grow into something much, much greater.

Are you in an overwhelming situation today, maybe in your health, finances or relationships? Does God’s promise seem small compared to what you’re facing?

Don’t sit back and think, “Man, it’s never going to get any better. It’s never going to change.” Instead, sow the Word by speaking it every single day. Water that seed by staying in faith because the seed of the Word has supernatural power in it. It will grow and flourish, and you will see God’s promises come to pass all the days of your life!
