Words That Heal
All over the world, there are people who are lonely, they’re hurting, they’ve been through disappointments; they’ve suffered heartache and pain.
God has given us something to offer them. We have life-giving, refreshing stuff in us. With our words, we can bring healing. With our words, we can lift them out of depression. With our words, we can tell them, “You’re beautiful. You’re amazing. You’re talented. God has a bright future in front of you.” Those life-giving words will break the chains of depression. They will break the chains of low self-esteem. You can help set people free from the strongholds that are keeping them back. You may not know all that is happening, but God can take one compliment, one encouraging word, and use that to begin the healing process and set that person on a brand new course. And when you help break the chains off of others, any chains that you might have will be broken off, too! Choose to speak encouragement. Choose to speak life. Tell others what they can become, give compliments, and live life as a healer. Pour out that life-giving force with your words and watch it come back to you in abundance!

Healing in the House
There is healing in the house for you today! All you got to do is release the feelings that are making you sick.
Easier said than done you say. When you have a splinter in your foot and it hurts every step you take; don’t you take it out? Even though it hurts even more for a few minutes when you take the splinter out, the relief is more than worth it. The freedom to be able to walk without pain is for better than leaving the splinter in your foot. Okay then, it’s time to take the splinter of unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, and hatred out of your heart today. Release those feelings, release those hurts, disappointments right now. They are not hurting that other person. They do hurt you and causes others to be hurt by the way you act. Those negative emotions and feelings will cause us to hurt others because hurt people; hurt people. We are hurting the innocent bystanders because we have been hurt in the past and we are holding on those hurts. Today is the day to get the splinter out. Release those hurtful, harmful feelings. Let them go right now. Healing is here for you!

Heart Check
From time to time we all need to have a heart check up. What shape is your heart in today?
Just like your physical heart is vital to your overall health; so is your spiritual heart. The heart is the key to the quality of your life. You have to keep your physical heart in good condition, same goes for your spiritual heart. I want to focus on the spiritual heart right now. Whatever is in your heart will come out. You may have said something and then wondered; “where did that come from?” It came from your heart. The Bible talks about; whatever is in your heart will come out your mouth. If you are angry, bitter, hurt, frustrated, feed up; that is what is going to come out of your heart. This is especially true when you are hit with something out of the blue or under pressure and stress. It is time today to have a spiritual heart checkup. What is in your heart right now? No time like the present to do some conditioning to get your heart in shape. Remember, whatever you put in will eventually come out. Take time to inspect what is going in your heart. Are you putting in positive, faith filled substance or negative, fear filled substance?

Trust
Are you experiencing worry, doubt, and fear in your life today? How do you get rid of these feelings; trust.
When you trust in God and His plan then you will find the peace, joy, hope, rest and love you were looking for to begin with. When your faith is stronger than your fear, your believing stronger than your doubting, and your peace is stronger than your worry; then you will be in God’s rest. All of this is basically a matter of trust. You have to trust that God is taking care of you, is looking out for you, has your best interest in mind and that no matter what happens; everything is going to be alright. At times it can be difficult to let go of the desire to control everything ourselves and allow God to work His plan. You have to come to the understanding that God is in control anyways. There is nothing happening that He is not in the middle of. He knows our thoughts, our desires, our motives. When we let go of the “I am a self-made person,” attitude and let God do a work in us; then everything will fall into place. If you are missing the peace, joy, hope, rest and love in your life; then trust God. Begin today to trust unconditionally in God’s awesome plan for your life. Expect to be amazed and astounded at how wonderful His plan for you is.

Nothing But the Truth Podcast/Blog
What is going on in your mind today? You hear many things, but what should you believe? Here is the answer…
Believe the truth. Don’t believe anything else but the truth. Accept nothing else but the truth. “How do I know what is true?” The truth will be the hardest thing to believe most of the time. The truth is what God says about you. “How do I know what God says about me”? Go to His Word and you will see many awesome things He is saying about you. You are more than able. You are awesome. You are wonderful. You are valuable. You are useful. You have purpose. You have a destiny. There is a plan for your life and it’s a wonderful, exciting plan. Don’t for a second feel sorry for yourself. Never accept the invitation to a pity party. Never, never, never believe the lies of the enemy to your soul. Learn the truth, the whole truth and nothing else but the truth; so help you God. Today is a day of truth for you. No more listening and believing those lies about you. Get up, hold your head up, you are a winner, you a victorious person. God is going before you and making a way for you. Especially where and when there seems to be no way. Believe and trust in Him and His course for your life.

Integrity Rules
Integrity is a powerful attribute in the life of the believer. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest.
You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity — even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s not God’s provision, that’s a test of integrity! If you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things, God will make you ruler over much. Be a person of integrity and open the door for God’s blessing and honor all the days of your life!

Birthday Week
We continue birthday week at the Wimberly house. Today is my awesome wife Melissa’s birthday. Let the celebration never end.
I have learned a lot from our daughter, Gloria, but I have also learned much from my wonderful wife. She has told me and then demonstrated to me unconditional love. She has modeled forgiveness so many times. She has faithful and loyal when it was not easy. She has been the role model for being a wife and mom. She has believed in me when I didn’t believe I could finish. She has stood by, with, behind and in front of me at the times I needed her the most. She has been selfless when I was being selfish. No, she is not perfect and she will be the first to tell you, but she is a woman of excellence. I love that about her. She does her best in all she does. She is a friend to many, especially those that are friendless. She treats people with respect no matter who they are. I am learning basic life lessons from her, how to be a people person and how to love others. Thank you Melissa and Happy Birthday.

Insecurities Be Gone
Being free from the oppression of insecurities is something many people never experience. You, however, are different.
We all have insecurities in our life. It is how we deal with them that determines whether or not we are ever free from them. Many people make excuses for the way they behave. Some think it is the way they are, because their mama was like that and there is nothing they can do about it. Others just go day to day with their insecurities ruling over them like a dictator. Knowing you have weaknesses is one thing, but you can’t let them turn into insecurities. You must decide to stand up to your insecurities, admit them, and then defeat them. When you realize you have a destiny and purpose in life and that God has a plan just for you; then you will begin to overcome those insecurities. Only through God and His security will you ever defeat those issues. Begin to recognize the awesome power of God in your life. Know who you are in Him and see your insecurities begin to be defeated. Take a stand and never let those issues oppress you again. This is your day of victory.

Attitude Adjustment
There’s an old saying “attitude determines altitude.” A positive, faith-filled attitude will cause you to rise higher in life, but a negative, self-critical attitude will only drag you down.
When we face adversity, our attitude affects the outcome. Are we going to treat people right even when we’re being mistreated? Are we going to stay full of joy even when the bottom falls out? So many people get all bent out of shape and start complaining when things don’t go their way, but that kind of attitude only closes the door to God’s miracle-working power. The Bible says that faith is what pleases God. Understand that He’s trying to work in your life. He’s trying to get you prepared for promotion, but you’ve got to stay on His side. You’ve got to stand strong and fight that good fight of faith! If you are going through a difficult time today, I encourage you to keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Start thanking God for bringing you through to the other side. As you stand strong, I believe you’ll rise higher. I believe you’ll come out stronger and wiser, and you will continue moving forward in the abundant life God has for you!

Birthday Girl
There has been a lot of teaching, showing and disciplining over these past nine years, but I have loved it. There is nothing I like more than being taught, showed, and disciplined. She has been an awesome teacher. It seems like every few months, weeks and even days there is a new lesson for me to learn. It’s great that I get to experience the lesson first hand as she is teaching it to me. The lessons are both positive and negative, but even the negative lessons have a positive outcome. She has demonstrated unconditional love to me. Her memory is short when it comes to the bad experiences, yet she still remembers the good times from her early days. She has taught me to laugh out loud when most would say it’s not appropriate. She has taught me to cry when everyone can see you, but it doesn’t matter. Gloria says I am the worlds greatest dad of all time. I only hope I can live up to that billing. I look forward to more lessons in the years to come. She will always be my teacher, but even better, she will always be my baby girl.
